I didn’t really enjoy this initially but think it got better towards the end of the album. Not heard it before.

This was a bit of a struggle. Not for me

I wanted to like this, but couldn’t get into it. One where the story behind the album is more interesting that the album it self

My only previous knowledge of this band was that Elegy to the void song that James put on a playlist so I was excited to try this. Sadly nothing on this album as good as that song. 10 Mile Stereo was my favourite

I have not listened to this before, there were a couple that I quite liked. The last 2 songs seemed to go on forever….

Me and Lilia very much enjoyed blasting out ‘In ‘N’ Out of Grace’ in the car on a Sunday morning

This is very nice although some of the guitar solo’s go on a bit. Not an album I am likely to listen to often but pleasant enough.

Glorious. Listened in an indoor trampoline park at half term. Thank you noise cancelling headphones….

Background music while pottering around the kitchen. It’s obviously very good but it is not something I am likely to listen to often. 1.5 for me.

The drumming is very good.

I’ve always quite liked Substitute for Love and Frozen… Never listened to the whole album before and unlikely to again but was a pleasant listen. 2.5 for me, bang in the middle.

Enjoyed this and you can see how it has influenced modern bands (Dry Cleaning)

This is quite odd…. Some tracks far too long and take themselves too seriously, a move into live recordings? It’s not great but I quite like some of it…

This was great to listen to in one. Some real stand out tracks. Great album.

Some albums I think will be a 2 or 3 before I listen and then I listen and find myself enjoying it more than I thought. This is one of those albums.

The ‘2 songs’ are brilliant and the rest does not quite reach those heights but pleasant enough. Those songs drag the rating up though….

Bits of this I enjoyed but the longer it went on the less keen I was on it.

Bit of a family favourite (or maybe compromise) Sentimental pop but I like it. Makes me want to watch Rushmore again…

I dont listen to Nick Drake often but when I do I always enjoy

Odd album but Grey/Afro was a great piece of music

Of this era , I really like this and much prefer this album to their debut album too

Rolling in the Deep is quite good but overall this is quite annoying and I slightly preferred 25

2nd listen to this album this year. I just can’t get into it, although I think overall I prefer this album to ‘Be’

New to me and I wasn’t really looking forward to it but it surprised me. Much more interesting than I expected. 2.5 stars. Liked Butter the Soul!

Street Life is alright….

It’s not the worst album I have heard this year… and I think he has some good songs, but not on this

We like a bit of Dolly Parton in our house. Couple of good ones on here. 2.5

Really enjoyed this

There are about 30 seconds to a minute of each song I like, often towards the end. But the songs are too long. 1.5

Not listened for a while and thought it may be a 4 but it’s a 5 all day long. So good.

Listen to lots of these songs in isolation on various playlists but really good to revisit the whole album. Loved it.

This started well and was quite enjoyable, but then I felt lost its way a bit and got a bit boring

I enjoyed this so much more than the CS&N album we had. So Begins The Task is a lovely song

I had never heard of this, and I really didn’t like it as it started, it got mildly interesting towards the middle (bit depeche mode). Overall not great though

New to me. There are some brilliant tracks in here (No One Will Ever Love You was a delight). But why is it so long…. Just slightly too much filler, this is a strong 4 stars if it reduced the number of songs.

How much Prog Rock must I listen to…. Why is there a 20 minute opener…

The word that kept coming to mind listening to this was ‘safe’. Some nice musical bits but I found the vocals annoying. The French half was the better half.

My daughter as a baby / toddler used to like me (badly) sing American Pie to her at bed time so it has sentimental value to me. I also like Vincent. 2.5 stars.
