t'was ok
love dark side
lyrics are absolutely awful and whiney, pack it in son. the music itself is good but my god dude stop whining.
funky
some lyrics are immature
bro got out the orchestra
I'm not really the biggest fan of orchestral instruments in rock songs (strings, etc)
so bright and so jangly it’s too much for me
overrated
I don't really like acoustic rock much, if I could give this a 2.5 I would
It's ok. It's about as good as I expected - nice vocals, but boring backing, with all lyrics about the same subject with the same mood and tone.
has a nice latin feel to it, even though it's french
i feel like i'm listening to the 1930s.
Not the biggest fan of the singer
Nah
I really hate post-punk
it's maybe a 2.5, i don't really like his voice
would give 3.5 if could
Understood and enjoyed much more than freak out
listened once months ago. didn’t want to revisit for this. chili peppers suck
Already listened, couldn’t bring myself to relisten for this
Unavailable anywhere.
does nothing for me
Really torn between 4 and 5
really on the fence between 2 and 3
too long, boring - hot take i know but i couldnt bring myself to re listen to it
It’s definitely good but it’s not the best by any means. I did enjoy it more than I was expecting
this is not what i expected. the first song is good. this has robert fripp on it which is pretty cool. the 2nd and 3rd songs are like david bowie. so i dont really like those ones. Driving me backwards is an absolutely beautiful semi-ambient song, i absolutely adore it. I HATE Blank Frank. the background vocals on Dead Finks are awful. the weird machine ending was kinda cool though. as much as i loved the more ambient songs, the rest of the album was kinda awful.
the songs that are straight up punk i like and are good. the songs that aren’t / talk about love… yeah not for me. The long songs are quite good.
this isn’t what i expected - I half expected more frank sinatra, and this is more if the early beatles were american. So it’s not great per se but it’s also not awful. some of the guitar solos on this are so boring it’s hilarious - the same 2 notes played about 20 times. I think literally every song ends by fading out which is hilarious.
In reality it's a 3, but compared to some of the rubbish this usually generates me...
some hard hitting songs, too long though as many of the songs end up being not very memorable - I couldn’t name the songs on half of the album
