Had listened to this in the 500 Rolling Stone list. Was surprised it is all in my Liked list on Spotify. Some questionable lyrics in places, when viewed through a modern lens, but enjoyable.

I took absolutely no joy in the listening to this album. Indefensibly mediocre music, that bordered on folk jazz, and just about the whiniest, most self-indulgent lyrics put to record. Honestly, it reminded me on how my own head space has been over the last month or so, and God knows I don't need reminders of that. Drivel.

Enjoyable. Blueberry Hill is on my Regular Jams playlist so I maybe came into this album with a bias. Didn't blow me away, but a good bit of swingy blues is good for the soul. This album was ok. Nothing really stuck with me after listening, but it didn't annoy me either. It just was. It was an album I listened to. Also listened to. FKA twigs, eusexua. Beautiful. 218. Zero 7, When It Falls. Not adding a number as ive listened to it many times. It's an album I listen to on long journeys as it gives me a shroud of beauty around me that helps keep me safe from the anxiety of boarding the wring train. Zero 7 are rhe perfect band in my opinion, you get the feeling every note, every rise and fall, is planned to within an inch to create the perfect ambience for every song.
