Surprisingly ok for the smiths

Had listened to this in the 500 Rolling Stone list. Was surprised it is all in my Liked list on Spotify. Some questionable lyrics in places, when viewed through a modern lens, but enjoyable.

I took absolutely no joy in the listening to this album. Indefensibly mediocre music, that bordered on folk jazz, and just about the whiniest, most self-indulgent lyrics put to record. Honestly, it reminded me on how my own head space has been over the last month or so, and God knows I don't need reminders of that. Drivel.

Enjoyable. Blueberry Hill is on my Regular Jams playlist so I maybe came into this album with a bias. Didn't blow me away, but a good bit of swingy blues is good for the soul. I'm sure Mardi Gras in New Orleans is an arrangement of the old standard of Golddigger. Today I also listened to: CMAT, EURO-COUNTRY. Great 215. Emma-Jean Thackray, Weirdo. Superb. 216.

This album was ok. Nothing really stuck with me after listening, but it didn't annoy me either. It just was. It was an album I listened to. Also listened to. FKA twigs, eusexua. Beautiful. 218. Zero 7, When It Falls. Not adding a number as ive listened to it many times. It's an album I listen to on long journeys as it gives me a shroud of beauty around me that helps keep me safe from the anxiety of boarding the wring train. Zero 7 are rhe perfect band in my opinion, you get the feeling every note, every rise and fall, is planned to within an inch to create the perfect ambience for every song.

Quick note, Elton John knows how to deliver a banger. Also listened to today: Fontaines D.C., Romance. Great. 220

One of the worst things I've ever heard of my life. I'd rather listen to the death rattle of a man suffering from terminal flatulence. If I could give it 0, I would.

This was ok. Nothing spectacular, didn't grab my attention, didn't bore or offend Mr.

Maybe biased for this album - on a family holiday when I was 9, Cross Road was the only album anyone brought. There's quite a few songs from SWW on this album, so it brings back very good memories. 233.

Found this a little weary in places.

Hadn't really heard much Beach Boys beyond Pet Sounds and the greatest hits fodder. This was unexpectedly great. In particular, loved Disney Girls and Student Demonstration Time. 228.

Perfect example.of what 80s power metal can be. Raw and stupid in one moment, powerful and moving the next. Some bangers on here. 237.

Honestly don't have anything to say about this album. I forgot it as soon as it finished. Enjoyed it in the moment though.

I think this might have just been noise. Some of it was enjoyable but it was overall chaotic nonsense.

Absolutely dross. I can't see how anyone gets any enjoyment out of this.
