This would be good music to just Have On. The back half of this album was particularly enjoyable. I liked the audience’s response to certain moments; I don’t know that I’ve ever actually appreciated a live album in full, but there’s something interesting about being a secondary audience. I think this would get even better on subsequent listens. Listen #3: it does get even better. Maybe all albums will take a few listens?
This is okay. It’s not bad, pleasant to have in the background, but it moves slowly and I wasn’t especially interested in it. I preferred the tracks that auto-played when the album was finished.
Beep-beep beep-beep, yeeaah Most of the songs are good, Nowhere Man and In My Life are great. Michelle kinda sucks. Run For Your Life is yikes.
Based on track 1 this was going to be 2 stars but Looking For the Perfect Beat has definitely won a third Star.. for now.
I’m going to give this 5 stars for the first half of the album; the second half is not bad, but suffers under the burden of being very popular with the type of folks that replace having a personality with smoking weed.
This could be a 5 on future listens.
A mix of excellent tracks and the absolute nightmare of The Toonerville Trolley. Jesus.
I Want Your Sex is so stupid and kinda gross and 9 minutes long. Could be my first 1-star album but I don’t know… Faith is good.
I got generated back-to-back Coldplay albums and this one was somehow blander than the first.
Exhausting.
Couldn’t find the album but I listened to Fats Domino Swings instead & it did indeed swing.
I already listened to this album once today, even before the Generator told me to.
“Somebody tell me please, tell me please/ why do I have to pay attorney fees? (my baby’s)” is truly beautiful lyricism.
