N.W.A.
4/5
I liked it.
The Flaming Lips
4/5
Simon & Garfunkel
4/5
They were very good. It's a shame they banged each other and ruined the duo. The downside was my mum kept trying to sing along
Harry Nilsson
3/5
Fun wee bangers
Common
3/5
Ye
The Auteurs
2/5
This is boring.
Tears For Fears
4/5
More like Cheers for fears - songs for a big cheer and because whoop whoop this is class
Ella Fitzgerald
3/5
Fuck this is long.
Echo And The Bunnymen
5/5
It's a cold October day in 1984, you're driving down to the South of England. You rummage through the unfamiliar car and find a tape from 4 years before and you put it in. You finally see the sign for Brighton as the end of Happy Death Men plays. A fitting song.
Björk
3/5
Not my favourite album by her but IT'S ALRIGHT
Beastie Boys
4/5
Kick it!
Coldplay
3/5
A really strong first half but it really dips near the end. just like the bands trajectory.
Crosby, Stills & Nash
4/5
A full extra star for Helplessly Hoping
Faust
4/5

U2
2/5
Absolutely not.
Supergrass
4/5
That was enjoyable.

The "North American scum-someone Great-all my friends" run of songs is unbelievable
Guns N' Roses
3/5
I think Guns N Roses mostly suck but they do have some bangers

Buena Vista Social Club
2/5
Nice background music

Parliament
3/5
This was FUN
Kate Bush
3/5
Some pipes on your wan. Not my favourite songs by her but definitely an interesting album
Kraftwerk
4/5
I actually thought this was going to be one of those albums where it's like "yeh OK they're one of the OGs and they made new paths but now it's a bit dated and boring" but I really enjoyed it entirely. I listened to it a few years ago on the actual autobahn and I was way too stressed out to enjoy it. I hate not having half stars because 4 is a wee bit too high.
Eminem
2/5
I liked this when I was young and there's still some good songs and it was important 25 years ago but I'm going to rate it through modern lens

4/5
This was class
Tito Puente

Alexander 'Skip' Spence
2/5
I got very bored of this. Took like 3 days to finish. Sorry pal
The Undertones
4/5
Forgot how many bangers they have. Still very toothless for a Derry band nevermind 70s Troubles punk, which is impressive in its own right.
Mudhoney
4/5
I thought this was class. You can clearly tell where Nirvana got their influences. Some ripping guitar.
The Black Keys
3/5
I loved this album but I feel like they're slowly becoming cringe, but it was entertaining me and it was long. I think it'd be a 3.5 really. 3 is harsh
The Divine Comedy
3/5
I appreciate this and the bizarre lyrics are great but sometimes the chamber pop aspect is a bit too much for me.
Soul II Soul
3/5
This was better than I expected, some bops
R.E.M.
4/5
Not my favourite REM album but still very good and I would listen to it again

4/5
This loses a full star because Butler was a creep.

Jethro Tull
3/5
I thought this would suck but I was enticed by the use of the flute.
Magazine

Slint
4/5

I thought this was going to be heavy metal and not beach boys. Alright though
Led Zeppelin
4/5
Since I've Been Loving You in such a good song that this album is bumped up to a 4
The White Stripes
4/5
I remember not liking this that much after elephant as a teen but that's obvious now because it's definitely a much more mature album and I was a wee soft child. I really liked it and while it doesn't have the same level of bangers it just showcases how strong they were.
Jeru The Damaja
3/5
This was nice. Really chill and well produced. I enjoyed it
Paul Simon
3/5
Perfectly fine. But I think it's overrated

Teenage Fanclub
3/5
Some nice bits. Not unpleasant by any means
Oasis
3/5
I know this is supposed to be one of their best but it only has a few songs that are actually worth it. It's not a bad listen overall.
Wilco
3/5
A bit too long but nice. No real standouts.
Les Rythmes Digitales
2/5
Way too long. Some bops, but if it was half the length I'd give it a 3
4/5
Fair enough Beatles, you were pretty good
The Darkness
2/5
I used to hate them when I was 13 but I went in with an open mind and disregarded my younger self because I had just discovered Radiohead and the Mars Volta and therefore was insufferable. My teenage self may have been pretentious but he was still insightful. Shite. An extra point since it was quite short.
Big Brother & The Holding Company
4/5
This was fucking class. I really enjoyed it
Radiohead
5/5
Radiohead always gets 5 stars. It's not their best album but still has some of their best songs. Thoms voice is incredible in this. Bones is underrated.
Brian Wilson
3/5
Very samey but not bad
Iron Maiden
3/5
Pretty decent, never been a fan but I wasn't bored. I like that they have a song that's Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden on the album Iron Maiden
The Black Crowes
2/5
Fuck me that was shite
New Order
4/5

Talvin Singh
3/5
I was happy to get a bit ethnic in here
Suicide
4/5
Public Enemy

2/5
Some bangers but meh
New Order
4/5
I'm such a sucker for 80s synths and this is no exception.
Radiohead
5/5
5 stars no notes. I also listened to the B sides like man O war and pearly because I want more. I also listened to the unfinished version of Nude because that's also amazing. OK I had loads of notes
Hüsker Dü
2/5
This bored me. Like, it wasn't terrible. Just meh
Beach House
4/5
I'm extremely bias because when it came out I would look out the window of the steamy Manchester bus, listening to this on my broken iPod that needed me to hold the aux cable way too hard, and hope that a Zoey Deschannel manic pixie dream girl would see me and think I was mysterious and break my heart.
Stevie Wonder
3/5
Riding a fine line between chill and boring.
Stevie Wonder
3/5
A bit more happening than Fulfillingness. Probably 3.5

Dexys Midnight Runners
4/5

Peter Tosh
3/5
Absolutely fine. I think the album is about weed.
Grateful Dead
3/5
I never knew they were supposed to sound like this. Decent enough
Nirvana
5/5
This has been on my rotation for about 25 years at this point so it has to get a 5. Territorial Pissings blew me away when I was a kid and it's still on most of my playlist.
Joy Division
4/5
Yup

The Offspring
3/5
Just good fun
Hot Chip
4/5
Flumes makes me want to abuse my body. When they're good, they're amazing. Cba with a lot of the slower stuff
The Cure
4/5
That was fucking unreal. That 80s brooding synth just gets me in the giblets
Echo And The Bunnymen
3/5
Not my favourite album by them but a nice listen
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
2/5

David Bowie
4/5
Weird Bowie is the Best Bowie
Dwight Yoakam
2/5
Inoffensive but boring NEXT
The Band
4/5
What a great group of lads
Digital Underground
2/5
Too horny
Eurythmics
3/5
A lot less polished which I liked. A surprising album
Janelle Monáe
4/5
I enjoyed this. It became more bizarre and unhinged as it went on and that is how I think life should be
Taylor Swift
2/5
I honestly think she is shite. She has some good songs but absolute fucking droll
Adele
4/5
I want to be hipster about this but every song is genuinely great. She still shouldn't have headlined Glastonbury tho
Iggy Pop
4/5
Iggy and Bowie is such a winning combination . A pure joy to listen to. An idiot he is not.
Bob Marley & The Wailers
3/5
Nice. Relaxed.
Yes
4/5
I used to like this album a lot more than now. Technically it's impressive and enjoyable but also feels empty?

4/5
Woah this was darker.

Very pleasant. It was good Easter egg making music
808 State
3/5

I enjoyed this. A weird fun time
Talking Heads
4/5
Unreal. Heaven makes me want to do karaoke with a load of japanese alcoholic company men
Ramblin' Jack Elliott
4/5
What the hell, this was unreal. Brilliant guitar. Pj hasn't heard of him which annoyed me because he's made me listen to so much wank folk country music and never touched on this
The Rolling Stones
4/5
I know very little about the stones other than by osmosis but Okay they can be pretty good
The White Stripes
4/5
Just raw and wriggling.
Prince
2/5
I just could not be arsed with Prince. Too many girls screaming in this aswell for some reason.
Pavement
4/5
I don't know what to say. Pavement good
Lorde
3/5
Aye it's fine. Fair play to her but nothing that really stood out and spoke to me .
Bruce Springsteen
4/5
I never really gave this a chance because it was slower but it's honestly very good, each song standouts. The boss really is the boss. I also got my 5k personal best listening to it
Elbow
4/5
Good Times forever
David Bowie
4/5
I love the weirdness. Peak Weird Bowie
Orbital
4/5
I always liked Halcyon. The rest sounded like a sonic the hedgehog music so I was very into it. Probably a 3.7
OutKast
4/5
I understand these were essentially two different solo albums and they don't thematically go together but there's a 5/5 album between the two of these once you cut out a lot of the fluff. Some great songs in speakerboxx and the first half of The Love Below is chock-full of bangers until it just kind of veers off. 3.5 overall
Bruce Springsteen

Every song is great. The cherry on top was it was the exact length as my drive to work which is satisfyingly
