They were very good. It's a shame they banged each other and ruined the duo. The downside was my mum kept trying to sing along
More like Cheers for fears - songs for a big cheer and because whoop whoop this is class
It's a cold October day in 1984, you're driving down to the South of England. You rummage through the unfamiliar car and find a tape from 4 years before and you put it in. You finally see the sign for Brighton as the end of Happy Death Men plays. A fitting song.
Not my favourite album by her but IT'S ALRIGHT
A really strong first half but it really dips near the end. just like the bands trajectory.
A full extra star for Helplessly Hoping
Very enjoyable, weird I never knew of them considering they're like proto-post rock. I'll enjoy listening to it again
Alot more mellow than I expected it to be. I never gave Black Sabbath a proper listen really
The "North American scum-someone Great-all my friends" run of songs is unbelievable
I think Guns N Roses mostly suck but they do have some bangers
Not bad but I feel like this same album has been done better. Some nice guitar work.
We were driving through the hills in Albania and this was class music for it. I was bombing down the mountain to stairway to heaven
A bit of the same but fun and short
I really enjoyed this. 3 stars is harsh but 3.5
Some pipes on your wan. Not my favourite songs by her but definitely an interesting album
I actually thought this was going to be one of those albums where it's like "yeh OK they're one of the OGs and they made new paths but now it's a bit dated and boring" but I really enjoyed it entirely. I listened to it a few years ago on the actual autobahn and I was way too stressed out to enjoy it. I hate not having half stars because 4 is a wee bit too high.
I liked this when I was young and there's still some good songs and it was important 25 years ago but I'm going to rate it through modern lens
I enjoyed this alot, I think this Ozward Ozbourne is going places
Pure class, I wanted to crash the car and shoot a fascist (RIP CK)
Not a bad listen but definitely not my favourite clash songs
It was nice but ronan said it was a solid 4.4 so I went in with high expectations. IT WAS NOT
Good background music, each song was different enough!
It's been years since I listened to this album and it was great revisiting it. I really enjoyed it.
American Pie is a banger and the rest of the album is quite nice. A decent listen
I started calling everyone toots and it made me want to go on the sesh in a weird way
Probably a 2.5, I was kinda dreading listening to this album and held it off but it was alright
I used to really like this but listening back I wasn't that fussed.
Could not be arsed with them. Not terrible, it's just that everything they ever done was done better by someone better.
I got very bored of this. Took like 3 days to finish. Sorry pal
Forgot how many bangers they have. Still very toothless for a Derry band nevermind 70s Troubles punk, which is impressive in its own right.
I thought this was class. You can clearly tell where Nirvana got their influences. Some ripping guitar.
I loved this album but I feel like they're slowly becoming cringe, but it was entertaining me and it was long. I think it'd be a 3.5 really. 3 is harsh
I appreciate this and the bizarre lyrics are great but sometimes the chamber pop aspect is a bit too much for me.
This was better than I expected, some bops
Not my favourite REM album but still very good and I would listen to it again
I think Prince is overrated. Not bad by any stretch but still overrated.
How haven't I heard this before? I enjoyed it
I don't know what to think of this so I'm giving it 2
This was so nice. I love long songs and I never heard these before. I'll listen to this again
This loses a full star because Butler was a creep.
Unreal guitar but Mustaves voice annoys me. Peace Sells rips though.
I expected not to like this but I recognised pretty much all of the songs and enjoyed it more than I should.
Nostalgia will not let me give this anything less than a 5.
I liked this, very underground dindgy vibes
This was a fun little number
3 seems low but 4 is too high. But I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Good lad for having a song called PLO style
Pj Harvey is the queen and I'll forgive her for supporting fox hunting
I thought I'd like this more due to the trip hopness off it but I wasn't arsed to listen to it
Class. I love the absolute jarring change of tone from the title song to the 2nd song.
I thought this would suck but I was enticed by the use of the flute.
I enjoyed this. Some bangers. It's the baseline of what I enjoy but doesn't fully scratch an itch. 3.5* in reality
I'm not really into Elvis Constello but I also can't help but enjoy the songs at the same time?
I owe you an apology ABBA, I wasn't familiar with your game
