So now I’ve had both Chic albums on the list, and to me their songs are either genre defining classics like Le Freak, I Need Your Love, and Good Times or just very uninteresting filler. But damn, I never knew an eight minute version of Good Times existed!

When an artist of Beyoncé’s stature uses lines like”Probably won’t make no money off this, oh well” it comes off as so out of touch and disingenuous to me.

This album feels like it would make a plot point for a movie or something.

Now I know where Spinal Tap drew a lot of inspiration from. This is far from a must.

Over the years I’ve heard some praise for this album, but I never listened to it. I was excited to hear it, that excitement did not last. This is not a good album.

Is this what the kids in Philly listen to when they edge?

The first 4 - 5 were good. Reminded me of soundtrack to a James Gunn movie.
