This album is beautiful and soaring. It's probably not everyone's taste, but it is mine and I love it.

Has some really great tracks, some are so-so.
Not as good as hunky dory, not really my jam.
A 2 because I enjoyed the first song or two. But then it was straight meh.
Wasn't bad, wasn't great, was perfectly fine to listen to.
I think I liked maybe 2 songs. Just not my style of music. Tina Turner is a phenomenal entertainer and a legend, but this album just isn't my style.
I appreciate Little Richard's place and importance in music history. And if that's how I was rating these albums I'd give this a 5. But I'm rating on how well I personally like the album and music. And this is just not my style.
I feel like I'm going to say this a lot in this journey. I appreciate the place of this album in music history, but it's just not for me.
Wavered between a 2 and 3, settled on 3.
Better than I remember.
Tuesday's Gone is a masterpiece, the rest is good.
An example of don't judge an album by its cover or most popular song. The hit song from this album is a classic early 90s jam, but I enjoyed most of the rest of the album way more. I was all set to think it was meh, but ended up really liking it.
Just not for me.
Has my favorite Beatles song, Golden Slumbers, as well as a few classics and songs that changed the music scene.
This album is beautiful and soaring. It's probably not everyone's taste, but it is mine and I love it.
I love Nick Drake. For some reason I had never heard of him until a couple years ago, but I was an instant fan when I did. Northern Sky and Hazy Jane I are my favorites from this album.
Grew up listening to John Prine. It seemed like one of his records was always on the turntable. And he's one if the greatest singer-songwriters of all time. Lyrics that can haunt you, like Hello In There.
I've never heard of Wire, was all set for it to be 'meh', but I actually enjoyed it.
The only Screaming Trees song I'd heard before was I Nearly Lost You, which I like way more than anything on this album. It wasn't a bad album, but not one I'll probably return to.
3 because of Gigantic and Where Is My Mind.
Enjoyable to listen to, not something I would probably listen to again, but it was decent.
I dunno. To me it sounds like every other late '70s punk album. It's just... meh. Not bad, but not anything I'd search out again.
The kind of album I imagine the kid from Dazed and Confused listening to at the end of the movie.
A 2 just for Groove Is In The Heart. Otherwise, it was just meh.
Was all set to score this a 2, but as I listened it grew on me. And La Grange is such a classic, 3 it is.
Am I giving this a 3 just because of Pretty in Pink and all the nostalgia? Yes. Yes I am.
It's not terrible... but not good either. Definitely not Pet Sounds.
A 2 because this is the ultimate version of O Want You To Want Me, and Surrender wasn't terrible. Otherwise I thought it was not great.
This album has THE version of Nothing Compares To You. That alone gives it 3 stars.
Wasn't sure what to expect with this one but ending up kind of liking it.
Embryonic Journey and Somebody to Love are the highlights for me on this one.
Not my favorite Beck, but still pretty good.
It's... ok.
Fleet Foxes is one of my all-time favorite bands and they are unbelievable live. This album is gorgeous.
I can appreciate how others can view this as one of the greatest albums of all time. I get it. And Johnny Cash is a legend. But I'm scoring on how I personally like the music and while Folsom Prison is a classic song, the album as a whole is not my jam.
The best songs are the ones without the synth and obligatory "'80s sound".
Torn on this one. If I could do 2.5 stars, that's what I'd probably do. Has a couple good songs, but it's just ok to me.
Iggy Pop has one of my favorite voices in music.
Loved the first song.
For In Your Eyes alone this gets a 3.
Went into this having no idea what to expect. Ended p really enjoying it. No idea what he's saying, but that ended up not matering.
I loved Birthday but had never listened to anything else. Pleasantly surprised.
A 3 for Novocaine For The Soul and My Beloved Monster. The rest was ok. I do love his voice.
Never heard of Klaxons, but found this album overall enjoyable.
3 mostly for message in a bottle, but the album isn't too bad either.
Mood for a Day is a standout and raised the overall album to a 3 for me.
Enjoyed this album more than I thought I would after listening to the first song.
I've always preferred earlier Arrosmith, their first album is one of my favorite albums. So this gets a solid 3 from me.
Great album.
