School's Out
Alice CooperOne of the few rock hard rock albums I truly love!
One of the few rock hard rock albums I truly love!
Ugh! Couldn't stand it and listened to an album from a few days ago. Dire Straits!
Fuck you Snoop!
Totally loved it and all it's eclecticism! It has salsa, jazz, funk, reggae and hip hop.
Very upbeat and pop!
First 15 songs I knew all of the words and loved them and the second 15 songs I only really knew a few songs really well.
Couldn't find any part of any song I really liked.
Not my cup of tea and mostly sounds like agony.
Liked it more than I though I would. The orchestra collaboration is probably the reason.
Style and vocals reminds me a lot of the Beatles White Album.
Loved it!
Raw and I loved it!
Typical Stones
Loved it!!
Good album back in the day. Not so crazy about it now.
Good but a little raw for my taste.
Not my thing but very well done alt rock!
In another language and still loved it!!
Too slow for my taste but she had an awesome voice!
Rock, country, blues. Well done but not my thing.
Great album!
Couldn't finish. Too weird!
Liked Crumb by Crumb and Old Whore's Diet but the rest was pretty meh.
Really liked and lead singer's voice is a bit reminiscent of Bob Dylan.
Love it!! Songs of my youth!
Not my thing but was nice!!
Too hard to listen to, but for their genre I think they're good.
Nice!! Reminded me of the Rolling Stones.
Loved it!! Would listen to it again!
Not my thing.
Not even sure what I just listened too. Mostly a mess with a few songs not too bad.
Awesome album!! Listened to it twice and a few songs 3 times!
Great album - not my thing though.
Nice and the vocals reminded me a little of the Beatles.
Love it and def going to listen to it again!!
Different but interesting! Loved a few of the songs especially Shore Leave! Had to listen to it several times.
Too country for my taste. Although, Lucille was fun.
Ska and reggae not my thing.
Yuck! Only made to 5th song. Too hardcore for me!
Not my thing but seems pretty good for the genre.
Not my thing but I really liked it! Great new wave album!!
Enjoyed it very much!!
Not my taste. The song Alright sounded familiar and was pretty good
Some songs have some long drawn out parts, otherwise I loved it! Great blues rock!!
Loved it! Songs of my youth.
Half of the songs sounded like a movie soundtrack and the other half gross.
Not really my thing but great for the Southern rock genre.
Loved all of it!
Such a great album and years ago I listened to it over and over!!
Totally loved!!
Liked it but most of the songs sounded very similar to each other.
Only giving it a 4, as there's some spectacular songs and a few shit ones.
Too much drama and angst for my taste!
Could barely listen to it.
Not bad but all the songs sound so similar.
Liked it better than I thought I would!
The voice of me off but some the instruments parts were nice.
Loved it!
Not my thing and most of the songs sound alike. Diesel Power was my favorite aka disliked the least.
Again not my thing, but think it was very well done.
Really liked it!
Hated it! Maybe good for a movie soundtrack but too repetitive and boring to enjoy listening to!
Love Dolly even though not a fan of this album.
Was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked this album!
Was pleasantly surprised how much I liked most of the songs on this album! Everytime a song seemed like it was going off the deep end a bit of melody happened and sucked me back in.
Whole album was a blur. Nothing unique and all of the songs sounded the same and most of the lyrics were the name of the song repeated over and over.
Not bad. Again not my thing.
Nice enough but very few vocals.
Loved it!
Music not bad but the vocals sounds like what I imagine Frankenstein's singing voice would be.
What's not to love?! Great voice and harmonies. And a few of the songs are super great!
Was disappointed that so much of this album was blah, except "The Message" and "It's a Shame" that was sampled from The Spinners song by the same name.
Was expecting to hate this but it wasn't bad!!
An all time fav!!
Nasteeee as shit! But on a good way and I loved it!
Could barely stand!
Not into that style of music or vocals.
Probably good but not my thing.
5 stars and 3 of my favorite all-time songs on this album!
Liked a lot!!👏🏼
Barely listened. Was so not my thing. Yuck!
So boring! Could put me to sleep.
Great album!!
He wasn't quite there yet on this album.
Not my thing unless Freddie was singing.
Insanely good!! Loved it and will listen again!
Not a fan and it all of the songs sound alike.
Feel like I should have liked it more than I did.
Most of it was good and reminded me of the Beatles.
Love it!! Songs of my youth.
I really thought I would love this album but once I listened to it I realized much of it was filler. And the 2 main subjects were killing and dick sucking. There were a few songs I did like...
Absolutely loved this album and saved it to my collection!!
Fun with all of the different artists!
Ugh! I wanted to like this album and all but one song was hard to listen to.
Could barely stand to listen but the great violin playing got me through it.
Ok ok I listened to it and wasn't too bad.
Pretty cool music! Horns and keyboards.
Nice album! Songs of my youth.
I know they were good but I could never really get into their music.
Not my thing but I loved it!!
Ugh! Did not like any of it
Not bad but didn't particularly love. Another album that reminds me of the Beatles.
Too country for my taste.
Totally loved it and all it's eclecticism! It has salsa, jazz, funk, reggae and hip hop.
A little dark, a little weary but not bad.
Thought I might like it but was blah.
The 3 hits from this album are great but I didn't like any of the non-hit songs.
Somber and boring.
Liked it a lot more than I thought I would!
Liked it and another one that reminded me of the Beatles.
Loved it!
Nice with nice instrumentals but too chill for me.
Not bad but mostly unmemorable.
Nice but a little mellow for my taste.
One of the best albums ever!
The instruments were nice but the sorrowful singing voice mostly ruined it for me.
Ugh! Horrible and hard to listen to as I don't call screaming, music.
Love it and reminds me of Monie Love although I think this album was out before any Monie Love albums were.
Was ok
Was almost torture to listen to the vocals. Yearning, sorrowful or whatever they were.
Not my thing but it was pretty good. The vocals were mostly good but at times had the dreary tone.
Loved it!
Wasn't crazy about this but was part of my youth.
Fuck you Snoop!
Ugh!
Pretty nice!
Of course I loved it!
Thought I might like it but ended up ugh.
Wasn't my thing back then and still not but I can appreciate it and they were all great musicians.
Liked it and parts of it reminded me of Prince.
Not bad for reggae.
Loved it!
Really liked it and sometimes reminded me a little of Prince.
Not bad but I'm a language I don't know.
Not my thing but they are talented.
Too much angst.
Nice but didn't love it. Seemed like it would be a good movie soundtrack.
No way will I listen to this POS!
Great album!
Didn't like at all!
Love When You Call Me Big Poppa is the only song I like and it's been a favorite for years.
Excellent album!
Liked it a lot more than I thought I would. And a few familiar songs from my youth.
I have a whole new appreciation for Boston! Great album!
The hits are great and the rest of the album felt like filler.
Could only find the 36 song collection. Deluxe version? Checked Spotify, Amazon music and Pandora. So I listened to all 36 songs. A lot of good songs and I feel The Monkees were better than most people thought they were.
Was good!
Ugh
If you love lots of accordion this is your album!
Not bad!
Sounded like a movie soundtrack.
Loved it and saved to my collection!
Not bad, especially as I don't generally like their genre.
Fun album and songs from my youth that I didn't know were by Harry Nilsson.
Probably hated it back in the day but it's actually pretty good and I almost liked it!
Liked it!
Not a fan!
Not my thing but I actually liked the whole album!
Really liked it!
Loved it and recognized a few songs from my youth.
Love it and saved to my collection! Great instruments and voice with socially conscious lyrics. Bullet the Blue Sky is beautiful!
Was meh.
I might like if the vocals weren't so full of angst.
Songs of my youth!
Was nice, but in a language I don't speak, so wasn't able to fully enjoy it.
Songs of my youth. Such a lyrical genius! Really liked it!
Thought I would like it more than I did. Sweet Dreams is from my youth and it was pretty good.
Great album and great storytelling! Loved it!
Ugh! Not my thing.
Started out being bored and about 6 songs in loved it!
Listening was a Blur. All sounded the same.
Good rock n roll!
Did not enjoy at all!
Another one I could barely stand!
Not bad and I like it more than I thought I would.
Nice and happy mix of folk and jazz!
Didn't like it. Not a fan of punk rock or surf rock.
Great album! Never realized how much I would like this and will save to my collection.
Interesting and I'm still undecided on how much I like it.
Very upbeat and pop!
Didn't really like.
Not bad. I liked the instrumentals way more than the singing.
Still so awesome! I saw them in concert in about '73 right after they released this album.
Amazing musician with a mix of rock, blues and jazz.
It sucked!
Didn't like
Major ugh!
Beautiful, relaxing and easy listening music!
Blah...
Sounded liking howling.
Mostly didn't like the vocals.
Loved it!
Liked it and found it relaxing. Saved to my collection.
The instrumentals were nice but didn't like the singing.
Too metal for my taste.
Fun and refreshing!
One of the few rock hard rock albums I truly love!
Fun folk music.
Interesting album. Very upbeat pop with a South African street music flavor.
Started out really excited about this album but lost the excitement after the the first few songs.
Ugh! That was rough to listen to!
Fun and would be a nice soundtrack for a movie.
Why did I never listen to Any Winehouse before? Love it!
Sad album
Guess this one was before my time but I did recognize a few songs and loved it all!
Was really fun to listen to!
Not as good as his later music.
Didn't like them then and don't like them now.
Not bad but mostly blah.
Wasn't quite a star yet.
Loved it! Funky Hip-hop!
Boring and all sounded the same.
The GOAT!
Really nice music and great vocals!
Like Tainted Love but that's about all.
Awesome album and I saved to my collection! Love me some great blue-eyed soul!
Was nice but not my thing.
Excellent album!
Probably nice but not my thing.
I love me some Curtis Mayfield! And his voice is like heaven! But not my favorite album of his.
Not my thing but not bad at all! Guitar reminded me a bit of Hendrix.
Very melodic and singing reminder me of the Beatles.
Listened but kind of tuned it out as seemed too punk for my taste.
Very interesting music! From Wikipedia: Blue Lines blended elements of hip hop (such as breakbeats, sampling, and rapping) with dub, soul, reggae, and electronic music.
Not into hard core music but still pretty good album.
Too hard core for me.
Liked it far more than when it was originally released.
Love their mix of reggae and pop!
Didn't like. Too hardcore for my taste.
Liked it a lot more than I thought I would.
We all know he became a superstar, but on this album he just wasn't quite there yet.
"Genre-bending album, encompassing genres like rock, funk, soul, pop, and even touches on gospel and blues."
Loved it and the complete mix of genres!
Awesome album!
Ugh! Couldn't stand it and listened to an album from a few days ago. Dire Straits!
Did not like any of it.
Great album!
Not enough time to listen to all of it but listened to half and enjoyed it.
Really liked it but all of the songs sound very similar.
Not my thing at all but I did hear some amazing guitar playing.
Love the Beastie Boys but this isn't one of my favorite albums.
I just had another Metallica album 2 days ago. 😵💫 This one not quite as grating.
Not bad but kind of blah to me.
Loved the mix of musical sounds from rock to bordering on funk in a few songs.
Never thought I would love this as much as I did! Cook mix of several different musical genres. Punk, rock and RnB.
As someone that prefers R&B and Funk I'm shocked how much I enjoyed this! I normally don't like country music but a few of the songs were songs I heard from my childhood and it was great to hear them again!
Of course I loved it! Great blend of soul, jazz and funk!
Loved it and heard a few songs I hadn't heard before.
Not really my thing but wasn't horrible.
A few good songs but mostly meh.
Not bad but not my thing.
Very nice and ready listening jazz! I loved both the male and female vocals.
Really liked most of the songs!
Great album! Classic rock the way it used to be. And the guitar playing is amazing!
Great album!
Eclectic and parts I loved.
Was nice but don't generally listen to reggae.
Pretty much all sounds the same and too electronics sounding for my taste.
