This is objectively a better album than 2/5 but speaking solely from personal preference, was just not doing it for me apart from a couple exceptions.
great tunes for doing housework, though i have to admit i probably wouldnβt be able to pick any of these songs out of a lineup even having just listened to it.
they should do half stars this is a 3.5
Bonus points for sentimental value for 15-year-old-Dom whose room was covered in Kurt Cobain posters. Though admittedly, some songs were easier to sing along to back when my English was not great (looking at you, track 4).
Very hit or miss. The good ones are great, the others made my workout more painful than it had to be.
I listened to this at the gym, which was my first mistake. They had me with the first song, but it went downhill from there. Struggling to recall anything else from it now other than wanting it to end
Once again asking for half stars because this is a strong 4.5 for me. What a good reprieve after the last couple of days.
Call me a racoon because I love Garbage. Where has Garbage been all my life? Give me more Garbage.
Is this a safe space for confessions? I donβt think Iβve ever fully listened to yellow submarine. It comes on, I skip it. Forgive me for I have sinned. Otherwise great album.
Does it count as a review when you skip every song after 30 seconds? Iβm so sorry, Leonard Cohen. I know youβre a legend. But this one wasnβt for me.
Early Queen is so dear to me, and this weird little album is one of my all time favourites. So happy we got this here.
I wish we would have gotten Mechanical Animals instead because I think itβs a better album. This is still a 3.5 for me because the first half is great, but I tend to lose interest about the 40 min mark and switch to another album.
I donβt think I ever listened to a full PJ Harvey album before but man did I miss out. Going straight into my library.
Slipknot is not really an album band for me but itβs still Slipknot, so overall I enjoyed this.
Loved it at 15, loving it at 33.
I didnβt dislike this as much as I thought I would.
Eh
Yes. Very happy with this.
Yes, I enjoyed this a lot. Hidden track was a bit of a letdown but you canβt have it all.
I was going to skip this because I am not a Samba fan at all. Iβm glad I didnβt. Absolute banger of an album. Listened three times while working.
This might be a controversial opinion but Bridge over Troubled Water (the song) never really did it for me. El Condor Pasa, however, immediately makes me want to cry (in a good way) every time i listen to it.
this was new for me and itβs going straight to my library.
god i love the pixies
would rate higher if this would let me
Struggling between a 3 and a 4 here. We all know Taylor is an incredible songwriter and individually these are all good songs, just overall a little more forgettable than some of the other albums.
Really struggling between 3 and 4 here. Objectively this is a great album. I know I would be happy if someone else puts it on. But I donβt think I will often, if ever, have the urge to put this on myself.
this came out when i was 13 and me and my best friend listened to it every time we met for just about two years. absolute core memories.
On another day I would probably rate this higher because itβs still radiohead, but today I had joy in my heart and this album robbed me of it.
Very divided with this. Iβve seen them live a few times back when Keith was still alive and the energy they brought is absolutely unreal, which is matched in the singles of this album. The rest however was unfortunately underwhelming. Bonus points for the cover though.
i love the stones but they just have never been an album band for me. also might have listened to the wrong version of this.
I havenβt listened to Elvis Costello in years, I forgot how much I enjoy this album. Man 1977 was a good year for music.
