Nando’s bathroom music but in the best way. Made me sad I’ve not got a drink machine in my house. Great vibes - no complaints for any of the 8 min songs. Specific rating-4.5 Fav song- wonder wonder Least fav- plenty nonsense
If I was looking for an album for a road trip back in the 70s this would Defos be in contention. Nice vibe all the way through. Slightly drops off at the end. Doesn’t hold a candle to rumours. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song- the ledge Least fav- never make me cry
This guy actually loves to drone on doesn’t he. Nice guitar but some of the worst vocals I’ve heard. Get someone else on it. Realised halfway through that Demetri Martin kind of parodied it in one of his songs so kept waiting for there to be jokes in the lyrics but there wasn’t so that made me double disappointed. Specific rating - 1.5 Fav song- lash midnight Least fav- bird on the wire

Not hugely keen on this even though I think I listened to it in the ideal situation (walking by myself on a dark night). Far from terrible though Specific rating- 3.5 Fav song- disintegration Least fav- untitled
Really liked this album. Some absolute bangers of songs on here. Gets a bit white boy rap at points but it doesn’t completely take away from it. Specific rating- 4.5 Fav song- Californication Least fav- I like dirt
Banging album, could see this being played at a sad afters back in the 70s - fav song the weight - least fav this wheel’s on fire
Starts off with some tuneroonies but tapers off a tad towards the end. The exit is a good song but why the hell is it not the last song in the album. Fav song - with or without you least fav - trip through your wires Specific rating 4.1
Decent enough, love here comes your man but some of the songs sounded like Adam sandler was singing them. The lead singer didn’t need to scream like that on debased. Fav song - here comes your man Least fav - Silver Specific rating - 3.9
Sounds exactly like an album that someone called devendra Bernhardt would make. Can fully imagine Jess from new girl listening to it. Not for me though. Too folky and freaky. Fav song- this is the way Least fav - will is my friend Specific rating 2.4
Though it was alright. Everybody hurts feels overplayed at this point but it is a good song. Some of them were a bit too odd for me personally but I see the appeal Fav song - everybody hurts/ignoreland Least fav - nightswimming Specific rating 3.8
Feels like a what they play in the toilets at French Nando’s. Decent vibes but really samey. Fav song- triptico Least fav - vuelvo al sur Specific rating 3.4
Fantastique. Listened to a few of the songs before but enjoyed the one I hadn’t. Like the story of it. When you can get away with an 11 min song you know it’s good. Fav song- money trees Least fav - Compton Specific rating 4.8
Most accurate title yet. Enjoyed the butteriness. People say they wanted to see what Jolene looked like but I want to see what the woman who cheated on that man 8 times without him leaving her looked like honestly. Fav song - walk on by Least fav - Hyberbolicsyllabicsequedalymistic Specific rating - 4.0
Was not liking this at all. Maybe it’s because I had a terrible day on top of it but this just contributed. Of all the Scottish albums I’m pretty sure I could have died without listening to this Ken and been alright with that. Fav song - the state I am in Least fav- electric renaissance Specific rating 2.4
I like the album cover but nothing else of it pretty much. Maybe the only songs from Fifa and gta v that I don’t love. Would be turning to the Spanish radio station if I was driving around los santos and this came on I can tell you that. Fav song - Hail bop Least fav - fire water Specific rating - 2.5
Listened to the entirety of this album while stuck in standstill traffic on the M8 coming out of Glasgow. Still enjoyed it. Bit disconnected in places but as a whole a good album Fav song - I love your lovin ways Least fav - Black is the Color of my true love’s hair Specific rating - 3.9
Was so hyped when I saw this one come up but I was a bit dissapointed not going to lie. Sir duke As and isn’t she lovely are fantastic but feels like the other ones don’t really live up to them. Still a good album overall thought The added baby sounds on isn’t she lovely were sooo unnecessary as well Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song- Sir duke Least fav song - Saturn
Surprisingly good. Kept expecting rock cos I was thinking guns n roses but enjoyable. Some decent tunes but no full on banger really. Solid album Specific rating - 4.2 Fav Song - Made of Stone Least fav - bye bye bad man
Soooo Wes Anderson it hurts. Kind of nice sound to most of them though except the sitar one that was horrible. It wasn’t awful but I would be absolutely fine if I died without hearing it. Specific rating 3.1 Fav song - cold mountain Least fav- house carpenter
Was thinking it was a decent but unremarkable album until get it on came on- quite like that one. Guitar is much better than the singing Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song- get it on Least fav- girl
Not the upbeat Sinatra stuff but I still love it. Can imagine listening to this on a nice summers evening drinking coke out of a glass bottle. Great vibe. Specific rating- 4.4 Fav song - Mood indigo Least fav - I’ll be around
Genuinely fantastic apart from those 20 secs of rocks off. Don’t know what the jaggermeister was thinking with that one. Really liked every single song Specific rating - 4.8 Fav Song - Tumbling dice Least fav - Rocks off
First few songs had me thinking I was in for a treat but then he gets a bit too temple run on derelict and it’s downhill from there. Some tunes but mostly a bit shit. I really like the cover art though. Specific rating 3.4 Fav song - new pollution Least fav - diskobox
Great vibe but got a bit too sensual for me towards the end. Enjoyed overall though very groovy Specific rating -4.2 Fav song - urban theme Least fav - lonelys only company
Some of the worst music ever put out in my opinion. Sounds like a shit theme tune to a spooky super Mario level set in the desert. Going through the process to revoke David Byrne’s Scottish identity now. Also slightly biased as I was listening to this as I fell in partick station and sent a whole tub of brownies flying. All the points still stand though. Specific rating - 0.1 Fav song - none of them Least fav- all of them
Very genereic grunge in my opinion. Nothing special honestly. Meh meh meh. Specific rating - 2.5 Fav song - candle Least fav- the sprawl
Funnily enough this album was just what I needed. Perfect Friday album. Short and sweet and upbeat. Specific rating -4.3 Fav song - my best friends girlfriend Least fav - bye bye love
Alright for one song but the way she keeps going high in her voice pisses me off a bit sorry. Specific rating -3.1 Fav song - little green Least fav- last time I saw richard
Very enjoyable album. Classic for a reason. Slightly biased I guess because it has such a good reputation already. I related sad that Elton John has stoped committing to the receding hairline. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- Bennie and the jets Least fav- Jamaica jerk-off
Banger after banger really. Had heard most before but enjoyed the ones I hadn’t. Just a great album overall Specific rating - 4.8 Fav song- moving out Least fav- scenes from an Italian restaurant
This was very shit. Really didn’t enjoy honestly. Just pissed me off to listen to it. Same whiny synth wave bollocks. Don’t like the main guys voice either. Maybe I’m being too harsh. Specific rating 1.9 Fav song - one and one make five Least fav- go west
Feel like this one is kind of a freebie for Bowie. Like yeah you made star man so we’ll let this shite album into the top 1001. Definitely could have died without hearing this one. Also Bowie album on yhe day of big brother final. So fitting. Specific rating 2.5 Fav song - dollar days Least fav - *
Really liked this album actually. Starts off with a banger in Tom Sawyer and the vibe is quite good throughout. Made me want to lift old metal weights in a garage iron claw style. I can see why someone would hate this though. Specific rating- 4.3 Fav song- Tom Sawyer Least fav- witch hunt
Sounds like a full album from löded diper. Looked at the wiki and they’re from suburban Melbourne. Sorry but angsty can you really get with that much year round sunlight. Specific rating - 1.2 Fav song- junkyard Least fav- release the bats
Something was really in the air in early 2010s England . This and olympics was serious high of patriotism. Cant quite get behind it. This kind of sounds like something a more right- leaning zoella would listen to. Specific rating - 2.1 Fav song - the last living rose Least fav- written on the forehead
Top tier divorced dad music. Goes the whole journey really with the rock music underlined by sadness into sadder songs into full depression confession. Love it. Also because this is a directly post 9/11 I like to imagine an alternate universe where the 9/11 butterfly effect leads to a country version of twilight. Specific rating -4.4 Fav song- waitin’ on a sunny day Least fav- paradise
Really enjoyed this actually. Don’t know why I had low expectations but there a few serious bangers in there. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song- hanging on the telephone Least fav- picture this
Don’t know why this guy had such a chokehold on the 2000s. Like why did both himym and community have him mentioned in multiple episodes . Why. Anyway this album is very meh. Not quite as bad as David Byrne but did not enjoy. Specific rating- 1.5 Fav song - body rock Least fav- the sky is broken
Weegees bloody love Tina turner. Can’t say I agree though. Some good songs but the whole album was just quite long. Specific rating- 3.2 Fav song- I might have been queen Least fav- let’s stay together (so much worse than the original)
Fantastic album- makes me think I’m in a road trip along an American highway in the seventies driving a muscle car with the same emissions as a small Asian country Specific rating - 4.8 Fav song- take it easy Least fav- we’re all sad
This was the toughest listen so far for sure. So so long and a 21 minute long song to start like come on. Even if it was a good beat all the way through it would have been more bearable. But it has minute long sections in songs with no beat and what sounds like a bloody Nokia ringtone. Painful. Some songs could be good to run to or something though I guess. Specific rating- 0.4 Fav song- this is a bad Least fav- adrift
Very solid album. Lie it the more I think about it. Some absolute classics on there Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song- gangster trippin’ Least fav- kalifornia
Funky and fun but the intermission kind of stuff in the the actual songs annoys me a bit. Like I want to add this to a playlist but I can’t be arsed listening to their 2 minute monologue. Still great though. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- luck of lucien Least fav - footprints
Unfortunately a banger of an album. I dislike the Gallaghers as people but I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t hit after hit. I understand why they are so arrogant now. Specific rating - 4.7 Fav song- hey now! Least fav- some might say
Quite enjoyed this one- the haircuts do look a bit silly. Nice sound and vibe of the album . Bit too English for me though. specific rating- 4.3 Fav song - billy watts Least fav - English rose
Very of its times I think. Not a big fan unfortunately. Not a huge fan of the vocalist. Specific rating - 3.1 Fav song- love is only a feeling Least fav- love on the rocks with no ice
Bloody awful- only reason it’s not getting a 0.1 is because I think it inspired/ reminded me of robots by flight of the conchords Specific rating - 0.4 Fav song - man machine Least fav- space lab
Was expecting more of this album honestly. I get that they all can’t be purple rain but for someone who people say is the greatest musician there was it falls a bit flat for me. Also too horny at times. Specific rating 3.5 Fav song- house quake Least fav- if I was your girlfriend
Would actually love this album if it wasn’t so loooong. Did make me want to go to the countryside and just ranch. Specific rating -3.4 Fav song- Tennessee stud Least fav- sailin on to Hawaii
Not a bad album at all but just wasn’t that into it really. Nice sound but didn’t take much away from it Specific rating - 3.6 Fav song - line up Least fav - stutter
I mean not a bad album but Not Quitte a modern classic like some of the others on here. Slightly bland to me Specific rating - 3.5 Fav song - space cowboy Least fav- Wonder Woman
Not quite at the angst levels needed to fully enjoy this I think. But there are still some absolute classic in here Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song- in the end Least fav- cure for the itch
Beach boys feeding themselves on the cover. Fantastic album. This is what I was looking forward to getting. Banger after banger. Also happy that they included sounds of pets at the very end for accuracy. Specific rating - 4.7 Fav song- god only knows Least fav- you still believe in me
Decent album this. Really like the first half but tapered off a bit for me towards the end. I did find it funny that the main guy refused to be associated with Brit pop Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - show girl Least fav- housebreaker
This whole band sounds a bit like a guy that brings the guitar out at a social gathering and is good on guitar but absolutely shite at singing and also fully up himself when you listen for more than a few minutes. Why all the bloody bonus songs as well. I don’t care if you recorded the shit song in a different American city why are you including it again. Specific rating - 1.7 Fav song - (well) dusted Least fav - Wolfy
Enjoyable listening experience overall but it did get a bit kooky for my tastes. Some of the early ones toed the line of sounding like glee songs too so that brought it down a bit. Still liked it though and love the lore. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song- heroes and villains Least fav- vega-tables
Very weak first half saved by strong second half. Some bangers later on but come on now what was that mother song. Specific rating - 3.7 Fav song- every breath you take/ murder by numbers Least fav- mother
Very surprised with how much I liked this one. Off the bat I knew that song but didn’t know where it was from. Crazy to think it’s almost half a century old. Some of the other songs on the album were eh but I liked the overall vibe. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song- blister in the sun Least fav- gimme the car
Decent guitar and stuff but I just don’t like the sound of morriseys voice and his lyrics aren’t much to write home about. Didn’t hate it as much as I thought I would though. Specific rating - 3.0 Fav song- you’re gonna need someone on your side Least fav- you’re the one for me fatty
Not a big fan of this one honestly. I haven’t heard much of depeche mode but this isn’t making me very enthusiastic. Specific rating - 2.6 Fav song - never let me down again Least fav - the things you said
Frank sinatras voice is with a bossa nova backing - genuinely what more could you want. Specific rating - 4.8 Fav song- girl from ipanema Least fav- dindi
Really enjoyable album. Good sound throughout and some great songs in there. I’ve always heard about Elliot smith (Lego movie) but never actually listened so at least this made me do that Specific rating- 4.2 Fav song- son of Sam Least fav- wouldn’t mama be proud
Really liked some of the songs but it got a bit samey and felt like it was just this bloke yelling at you over instruments. Jenny Jenny especially was quite annoying. Specific rating 3.4 Fav song- true fine mama Least fav- Jenny Jenny
Nando’s bathroom music but in the best way. Made me sad I’ve not got a drink machine in my house. Great vibes - no complaints for any of the 8 min songs. Specific rating-4.5 Fav song- wonder wonder Least fav- plenty nonsense
Some absolute old timey bangers on here- especially just a gigolo and the lip. Not quite as good as be the jungle book song but still. As the album went on I realised that the intro riff was the same on almost every song and that wore me down a bit. Felt like the people in that John mulaney joke about playing what’s new pussycat 12 times. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- just a gigolo/ the lip Least fav- basin street blues
Damn that one at the end where they’re all just chatting about sandwiches and stuff made me sad. Good album though. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- help me Rhonda Least fav- in the back of my mind
Absolute bloody banger after banger. Vividly remember my mum playing this album all the time in the car growing up. Only reason it doesn’t get 5.0 is that I didn’t care as much for the last two songs. Apart from that it’s near perfect Specific rating - 4.8 Fav song- moondance Least fav- everyone
Was really not into this one today. I get this guy is respected but just did not do it for me. Specific rating - 2.5 Fav song - stories of the street Least fav- one of us cannot be wrong
Not my favourite Beatles album but still some absolute bangers here I mean come on. People don’t like maxwells silver hammer but I actually love it. Like how each song flowed at the end but thought it was the weakest part. Specific rating- 4.4 Fav song- maxwells silver hammer Least fav- sun king
Not a good enough album to warrant me having to watch this on bloody YouTube. Had like 5 ads. Specific rating 1.8 Fav song- I see a darkness Least fav- death to everyone
One if my favourite covers so far and also a decent album. Best song is the end one and also the only one I recognised. Big fan of the vibe overall as well. So 60s. Specific rating -4.0 Fav song - time of the season Least fav- I want her she wants me
Hell yeah the steely Dan vibes are just unmatched. Had only heard peg before but loved black cow as well. Some of the songs are a tad long but I didn’t notice as much. Specific rating 4.5 Fav song- peg Least fave- I got the news
Some good raps and music but not a big fan of a bunch of the skits. Also think this was an early starter of the shitty edgy comedy people we’ve had today. Like it’s tongue in cheek but does a 13 year old know that. Specific rating - 3.5 Fav song- my name is Least fav- cum on everybody
Honestly think I like this vibe a bit more than the jailhouse rock kind of stuff. Some bangers in there and also a very good album cover in my opinion. Not a big fan of in the ghetto at all though. Don’t know why it’s so popular. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - suspicious minds Least fav- in the ghetto
This album made me realise that the song getting better by smash mouth from the cat in the hat movie was not in fact an original song but a cover. My world has been turned upside down. Apart from that the album had some decent enough songs but was a bit much at times. Not as excessive sitar as I was expecting though. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song- a day in the life Least fav - within you without you
Classic for a reason. Starts off very strong with highway to hell then just keeps that going. Short sweet and gets you in a good mood id say. Specific rating - 4.4 Fav song- highway to Hell Least fav- love hungry man
Some decent songs in here but wasn’t too into the whole album. Still liked it as a whole though I think. Stronger second half I’d say. Listening to wake up at 0515 did infact wake me up a bit ill admit. Specific rating- 3.5 Fav song- wake up Least fav- settle for nothing
Great great album. Few absolute tunes in it and great sound throughout. Could happily listen to this all the way through again. Specific rating- 4.6 Fav song- jamming Least fav- natural mystic
Of course trying to separate art from artist here but it’s hard. Banger of an album to be fair. Stood the test of time for sure. Specific rating- 4.6 Fav song- man in the mirror Least fav- Liberian girl
This album was bloody awful. Only one is half-listenable. Why the hell is it making me adjust my volume just to hear what they are saying. Also not in this album but come on Eileen is shit. The main singers voice sounds like a horrid Henry character doing karaoke. Specific rating- 1.2 Fav song- one of those things Least fav- this is what she’s like
Great album and also one of the best covers so far in my opinion. Serious tunes like take your mama and filthy and good vibe of the others. Not too much into the slower songs like Mary and really dislikes the audio jump scare they had in there. Why do you have to do that. Specific rating- 4.4 Fav song- filthy/ gorgeous Least fav- Mary
Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Not adding any to the playlist but not a terrible listening experience by any means. I didn’t like the 3 mins silence of course but didn’t fully put me off. Also the announcer made me nostalgic for mid 2010s YouTube so plus points. Specific rating- 3.1 Fav song- gotta get away Least fav- smash
Feels like something someone looking like frank Zappa would make. Sounded like someone who thinks they’re in flow state composing in a tv show but then it cuts to reality and they’re doing shit. I like Willie the pimp though Specific rating - 1.9 Fav song - willie the pimp Least fav - it must be a camel
Decent but not amazing. Started off strong with beautiful day then kind of tapered off. Specific rating - 3.4 Fav song- beautiful day Least fav- new york
Looked at the Wikipedia before and saw one of their genres was noise thought I was in for a bumpy ride but this was better than my expectations. Still not amazing though. Specific rating - 2.1 Fav song- in the flowers Least fav- lion in a coma
Minus points because it’s not on Spotify. Not a huge fan of the organ at the start of every song either. Meh otherwise Specific rating- 2.9 Fav song- monk time Least fav- pretty suzanne
Would have been a 4.4 if he had Kurt cobained it in like 2013. Unfortunately not. Specific rating - 0.0 Fav song- devil in a new dress Least fav- so appalled
Enjoyable but not quite as mind blowing as the Wikipedia article suggests it was. Definitely had influence though. Enjoyed the skits. Except the orgy one what the hell was that about. Specific rating- 3.9 Fav song- say no go Least fav- de la orgee
Them being from Glasgow is pretty much the only thing they’ve got going for them. Not really on board with this one. It’s not terrible but it’s eh. Specific rating -2.9 Fav song- medication Least fav- star
Didn’t hate it as much as I expected to but some of this was not a great listen. Bit too atmospheric for me. Specific rating - 3.2 Fav song- Jesus, etc Least fav- reservations
Iconic I’ll give it that. But sometimes it feels very generic. I know it’s about the music more than the lyrics but I made the mistake of listening to bad blood too closely and it’s just so vague. Maybe I’m too harsh. Specific rating -3.8 Fav song- blank space Least fav- bad blood
Think this got bonus points because I listened to it while in London. Some of the early songs weren’t my favourite but a really strong finish. Also love the one that riddle kicks sampled. Specific rating- 4.0 Fav song- London calling Least fav- the card cheat
Have respect for him because he sung one of my favourite songs in the wire (fast train) but not hugely into this album. Didn’t move me Specific rating- 3.3 Fav song- cry to me Least fav- he’ll have to go
This is very very shit. Not a huge amount of it was enjoyable and some of the skits / talking parts were an ear attack. Specific rating - 1.4 Fav song - barmy Least fav - spoilt Victorian child
Now I know that the 1001 gods can handpick the album each day I’m blaming them for all the shit ones personally. Really liked this one though. Great rock and great vibe. Specific rating- 4.5 Fav song- iron man Least fav- rat salad
Quite an enjoyable album. The best song went on for a tad too long though. Liked the vibe. Honestly don’t have a huge amount more to say than it’s a funky album with good vocals. Specific rating- 4.2 Fav song- papa was a rolling stone Least fav- love woke me up thjs morning
Better than some of the other no words albums but not a big fan overall. That second song is so familiar to me for some reason though. Specific rating - 2.8 Fav song - sly Least fav - vein melter
Elvis Costello paytas-hacmon Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - pump it up Least fav - (I don’t want to go to )Chelsea
Decent grungey stuff but right after I put on bautista’s theme and it blew the whole album out of the water. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song- ball lightning Least fav - burnt alive
Very good vibes and very good album. Love a bit of Neil young Specific rating - 4.4 Fav song- tonight’s the night Least fav - borrowed tune
Think it’s quite funny that they probably named the band that because it meant they would be out right after the Beatles in record shops. Apart from that a meh album . Way too medieval renaissance for myself. Easy on the lyre Specific rating - 2.3 Fav song - nine pound hammer Least fav - painter of women
Always love a bit of Johnny cash. The announcements throughout like it’s someone on the mic in Tesco is ahite funny as well. Imagine you’re having a once in a lifetime chance to see Johnny cash live and you get called to reception. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song- Folsom prison blues Least fav- the long black veil
Really enjoyed the first few songs but fell off a tad for me. Was a good soundtrack for fighting through the Glasgow winds though. Thought it was a nitty gritty dirt band sample but was from deliverance. What are the chances they sampled yesterday’s Johnny cash album as well to be fair. Specific rating -4.1 Fav song- shake your rump Least fav- sounds of science
The reason this was put on the 1001 lists is because it was ‘a challenging listen’. They call this noise rock but the real name should be Guantanamo bay torture method music. Would give up the state secrets in a second if they played this on a second hand beats pill let alone blasting it through headphones. Also they released a song called 2 towers in 2003. Come on now read the room lads. Specific rating - 0.2 Fav song- long stockings Least fav- 2 towers
Enjoyed this one. Tad heavy on the metal at times but still good throughout. Also starts too medieval for me but brings it back. Specific rating- 3.9 Fav song- black sabbath Least fav- evil woman, don’t play your games
Quite heavy again but enter sandman is just a banger. Couldn’t really top it with the rest of the album unfortunately. Specific rating- 4.0 Fav song - enter sandman Least fav- the unforgiven
Starts off with a banger then kind of tapers off. Every song sounded like it was from a. Different album altogether but unkind of liked that. Not a huge fan of the album as a whole though Specific - 3.4 Fav song- blue orchid Least fav- forever for her
If I was looking for an album for a road trip back in the 70s this would Defos be in contention. Nice vibe all the way through. Slightly drops off at the end. Doesn’t hold a candle to rumours. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song- the ledge Least fav- never make me cry
Had a bad day so this will be biased but fuck this album honestly. Disco to disco is one of the worst ones I’ve heard yet. Rest of the album sounds like a shit version of the Sega all stars racing soundtrack. And why all the bloody remixes. It’s already remixed in the first place. Stop. Specific rating - 0.5 Fav song - dreamin Least fav- from disco: to disco
Enjoyed this album as a whole. Some good songs . Not a huge fan of the classroom stuff in between though. Kind of disrupts the flow of the songs Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song- doo wop Least fav - nothing even matters
Again would have been 4.4 if he Kurt cobained it but alas no. Why did 00s rap albums love having a bunch of skits in. Also last call is just a bit of a ramble. Guess this was the warning signs of his rants later on. Specific rating - 0.0 Fav song- all falls down Least fav- last call
Definitely has a very similar vibe in pretty much every song. Think the scene in the office uk has ruined Bruce Springsteen for me because I couldn’t stop hearing that for the whole songs. Not my favourite Springsteen. specific rating- 3.3 Fav song- open all night Least fav- nebraska
Had a very upbeat vibe but some very similar songs. Still enjoyed as a whole though. Good album cover too. Specific rating - 3.8 Fav song- we got the beat Least fav- can’t stop the world
Was a pretty decent album actually. Can see myself turning onto a radio station playing this type of music on GTAV and having a good time just driving about. Don’t know why just get that vibe. Also bonus points for the end actually being the end. Specific rating- 4.0 Fav song- the end Least fav- creation
Quite enjoyed this album. The backing music reminded me of the incredibles. Love that. Not a huge fan of the slower ones Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song- Alexander’s ragtime band Least fav- tell me you’ll wait for me
Was going back through this trying to figure out which one was my least favourite and I kept thinking each one was. That’s how shit this album was. Too edgy too grungy not for me. Specific rating- 1.1 Fav song- schizophrenia Least fav- tuff gnarl / all
Again I know that I’ll like the other Bowie albums a better than this. Bit too horny bit too freaky for me. Also sometimes he just goes a bit all over the place on the piano and I’m not a big fan. And that is definitely a worse version of let’s spend the night together. Specific rating - 2.7 Fav song- Jean genie Least fav- panic in Detroit
Really liked crosstown traffic and all along the watchtower but the other songs were a tad too informal for me honestly. Good vibe overall but would like more complete songs. Specific rating - 3.5 Fav song- crosstown traffic Least fav- 1983 (a merman I should turn to be)
Really enjoyed gold finger and girl from mars, thought I would love this album but it ended up just devolving a bit. Disappointing. Specific rating- 3.8 Fav song- goldfinger Least fav - dark side light side
Think I will find whoever the critic was that allowed this into the 1001 and lock them in a box for an hour and fifteen minutes so they lose the time that this album took from me. Fucking shit. Sounded like either generic club music in a movie scene, Nintendo’s walking music and the kind of samples that come preloaded on a web DJ site. Will not be listening again Specific rating - 0.3 Fav song- sad but true Least fav- are we here
Thought the whole album was decent if a little samey. Teenage kicks is a banger though . Specific rating - 3.8 Fav song- teenage kicks Least fav -family entertainment
Quite enjoyed this one actually. Think it would have been amazing to be there in person. They seemed to be having fun with it. Not as much a fan of the slower songs later on though. Chain gang is really catchy Specific rating- 4.2 Fav song- chain gang Least fav- nothing can change this love
I will admit that I just listened mostly to the songs and not the interludes where they are doing the announcements/ introductions. I don’t need the guy to introduce one of his band mates for the millionth time. Enjoyed the jazz actually, reminded me a bit of the club penguin coffee shop. The high trumpet really got on my nerves though Specific rating-4.0 Fav song- day in, day out Least fav- festival junction
Some of the songs on this were fine, the rest of them were like they were trying to be annoying. I know they were ‘trying stuff out’ or whatever but I don’t want to hear the bloody reverse taping or whatever the hell was going on on CTA- 102. Not a huge fan. Specific rating - 2.2 Fav song- my back pages Least fav- CTA - 102
Thought Chappell roan had hopped on a feature on one of their songs. Overall an alright album. Hit or miss really. I like brimful of asha, never knew the words just the tune before. Bit too sitar heavy. Liked the version of Norwegian wood too. Specific rating- 3.5 Fav song- brimful of asha Least fav- what is happening?
I don’t know a bit all over the place this one. I’d say I liked it overall though Specific rating - 3.5 Fav song - ma and pa Least fav- change
Was a Bit all over the place. Didn’t like the intro at all. Castles in the sand was good. Didn’t like how he used the surround audio as well. Like stay in one place mate. Specific rating- 3.8 Fav song- castles in the sand Least fav- little wing
Wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did. Got some serious bangers in here honestly. Knew about half of them off by heart. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song-god put a smile on my face Least fav- a whisper
Feel like this guy just sung so many songs slightly worse than the covers made them. Have to admire that he did it first to be fair. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song- my girl Least fav- you don’t miss your water
Fucking shitter of an album. Fake deep stuff that has no backbone at all just like John Lennon. Specific rating - 1.1 Fav song - well well well Least fav- god
Heard the first song and thought I was going to hate this but liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Good for Guantanamo bay music. The interluding voice overs are a bit weird but in the grand scheme of things fine. Specific rating- 3.6 Fav song- just one fix Least fav- corrosion
Really enjoyed this album actually. Pretty feel good and some catchy catchy tunes. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- tenement funster Least fav- dear friends
Pretty good Bowie this but not his best still. Every song was just a bit too long for me personally. Way better than blackstar though Specific rating- 3.9 Fav song - stay Least fav- wild is the wind
I respect that he was able to still make music after being made paraplegic and that this album cover is fantastic but this album sounds almost like he was making it as a joke. What the hell are those vocals. And he just had to sneak Brian eno in there as well. Piss off Specific rating 1.2 Fav song- blues in bob minor Least fav- the duchess
Really liked some of these sounds but the whole album was a tad samey. Billy corrigan has a great distinctive voice and also a great joke on the Simpsons Specific rating- 4.2 Fav song- today Least fav- disarm
Really did not need this today. For a song or two I can tolerate it but an hour and ten minutes come on. Feels like the different singers have completely different vibes as well. When it wasn’t the main one I was enjoying it way more. Specific rating- 0.8 Fav song- sulfur Least fav- This cold black
This guy is obsessed with stank/ smell puns what the hell. Really liked a few of the songs but a few too weird and a few too horny. Specific rating 3.5 Fav song - ms Jackson Least fav -I’ll call b4 I cum
Got a very defined vibe. Bit sad for me but still thought it was a good album. Specific rating - 4.5 Fav song- speed trials Least fav- pictures of me
Not a huge fan of the interludes but some bangers of songs in there. Specific rating - 4.5 Fav song- it was a good day Least fav-wicked
Kind of sounds like every other punk album honestly. Didn’t move me. Had a decent sound though Specifici rating- 3.0 Fav song - I found that essence rare Least fav - love like anthrax
Not bad at all. Not life changing but generally enjoyed the sound Specific rating- 3.5 Fav song- peasant in the big shitty Least fav -down in the sewers
How many mics joins I gotta feeling in the group of ‘songs with a random mazel rob’ thrown in. Really enjoyed the rapping but the skits and unecessary reversing brought it down unfortunately. Could have been a 5 star. I do love the album having an end credits complete with applause. Quite funny Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song - how many mics Least fav-the beast
Like the punkiness of it but it devolved quite a bit towards the end which I wasn’t a fan of. Got a bit screamy on the last two songs. Calm down Specific rating- 3.3 Fav song- monitor Least fav - voodoo doll
Really not a fan of these jokers. They go between half decent songs and just utter shit. Specific rating - 2.3 Fav song-Theresa’s sound world Least fav- nic fit
Thought this guys only personality trait was being a massive Celtic fan but turns out he can put out a tune or two as well. Really enjoyed this one funnily enough. How did his voice get so raspy when he was only like 25. Also yet to hear a cover on these albums better than the original. Minus points. Specific rating- 4.4 Fav song- gasoline alley Least fav- Jo’s lament
This albums not and. I quite like his voice but it was a bit long and some of the lyrics are iffy. I like that it’s a lot of short songs actually Specific rating - 3.3 Fav song - ole mulholland. Least fav- two reelers
Really really enjoyed this one. Some absolute all timers on there. Wanted to give it five stars but some of the other songs are just a bit too shit to give. Also unrelated but didn’t know that the lonely island Natalie’s rap parodied part of this. Specific rating - 4.5 Fav song - express yourself Least fav- Compton’s n the house
Was good but not quite the transcendent life changing experience people say it is. Nice transitions and great cover though. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - breathe( in the air) Least fav- on the run
Quite a happy clappy album when I was really not in a happy clappy mood. If I was I could imagine listening to this on an American road trip. Rode the winds intro is perfect lift music though. Specific rating- 3.8 Fav song - ride the wind Least fav- darkness, darkness
Not a big fan of this at all I’m not going to lie. The voice is whiny, the music is bad and I just didn’t care for the overall tone. Thumbs down Specific rating - 1.6 Fav song-what is the light? Least fav- waitin’ for a superman
I appreciate that the music is good but it’s just not for me even though it makes me think of the Peter Kay comic relief video. Sorry Specific rating - 3.4 Fav song - one day like this Least fav-some riot
Very good feel of an album. Just enjoyed the general listening experience. Listening back it’s just really consistently great songs. No skips and stir it up is a banger Specific rating - 4.6 Fav song- stir it up Least fav- all day all night
Was really enjoying the first disc but the second just brought it way down for me. This could have been 5 stars if it was 40 mins long. Doing this albums thing has taught me that they should be capped at max an hour. Very hard to get it right past that mark. Some complete bangers in here though. Specific rating- 4.0 Fav song- my sweet lord Least fav- it’s Johnny’s birthday
Fantastic cover. Fantastic album One of the best overall album vibes of all time. Weird fishes and jigsaw falling into place are honestly in my top 20 songs ever. Specific rating - 4.7 Fav song- weird fishes Least fav- videotape
Quite like this album overall actually. Very long songs but didn’t feel like they overran. Quite liked the feel of the guitar too. Don’t like in deluxe albums how they just repeat the songs for the single version or something. Or that there is a 4 hour super deluxe version. So unnecessary. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song- yours is no disgrace Least fav- perpetual change
Quite liked this album but I would also fire someone if they were playing guitar in the office. Also it’s a tad samey Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song - love and affection Least fav - help yourself.
Enjoy the beats and the rapping, just not that amazing for me . Really like tricky though. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song- it’s tricky Least fav- dumb girl
Just a classic 80s love song album. She’s got a really good voice and the songs are fairly varied so I quite liked this one. Specific rating- 4.1 Fav song- Nick of time Least fav- the roads my middle name
Good rock album overall I’d say. Liked the guitar and the vocals too. Lemon song just a bit too weird for me. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - living loving maid Least fav- the lemon song
Came into this with low expectations considering the stinkers of other dance albums on this but was pleasantly surprised actually. Specific rating- 3.5 Fav song- in my arms Least fav- sunworshipper
Really like the cover art, Quite like most of the music, Kashmir is insanely nostalgic for me oddly, but it’s just quite long. Bit shorter and it’s fantastic. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - the wanton song Least fav- Bron- yr - Ar
When I tell you number 9 is one of the worst songs I have heard not just in the album listening so far but in my life. I saw it on the list, thought of the Simpsons episode and laughed thinking it might be similar. It came on and I thought ‘wow this is super similar’ then I saw it had 7 more fucking minutes to go. It made me want to dig John Lennon up, shoot him again, log back in to my Letterboxd and rate Yesterday a 1. God help the next person I see wearing round rim glasses. Specific rating 2.0 (-2 for Number 9) Fav song- obla di obla da Least fav - number 9
Really like the general vibe but quite samey so not blow your socks off stuff. No real low points though honestly. Could listen from start to finish again no problem - short but sweet. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - last child Least fav- lick and a promise
We had too good a run recently so I knew a stinker was coming. Was not satisfied by this bullshit. Specific rating 1.5 Fav song- Alaska street Least fav- the rake
Some parts of this are alright but a bit samey and some bits were quite annoying to listen to. Just not my thing. Would love if I hopped into a lift and this was playing though. Specific rating - 2.3 Fav song- changeling Least fav - organ donor
Thom Yorke, what is this a crossover episode? Thought this album was better and less England- heavy than her other one. Liked the general sound more too. Didn’t love it though. Specific rating - 3.8 Fav song- This mess we’re in Least fav- Kamikaze
Still holds up twenty years on. Take me out a certified banger and dark of the matinee not too far behind. Slightly biased from a Glaswegian but still really enjoyed. Specific rating - 4.7 Fav song - take me out Least fav - come on home
Fast car is a banger but the rest of them I was not keen on at all. She keeps doing the Joni Mitchell kind of thing and I am not a fan. Specific rating - 3.3 Fav song- fast car Least fav- behind the wall
Mate what do you think science has been trying to do you prick. Average 2000s music I guess. Nothing to write home about. Specific rating - 3.2 Fav song -DLZ Least fav- stork and owl

Would have liked it much more if he didn’t keep repeating that poem and a few other lines. I get that’s kind of the point but still. Some hits in here but also some serious misses. for free is terrible. I really like the cover though. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song- alright Least fav- for free?/ u
Big Time Sensuality is growing on me but the rest of it is just a bit too freaky too Scandi for me. I respect Bjork as an entity but this album was a bit much. Specific rating - 1.8 Fav song - big time sensuality Least fav- The Anchor Song
Decent poppy album I guess but apart from take on me not too much to write home about. Didn’t hate it though. I like the extreme 80s vibe of it. Specific rating - 3.8 Fav song- Take on Me Least fav- And you tell me
For some reason the arm hair really throws me off the Bruce Springsteen attempt. Decent album actually, not sure I agree with wanting to go out with Sylvia Plath. Specific rating- 4.2 Fav song- Tina Toledo’s street walking blues Least fav- Sylvia Plath
Decent album but not amazing. Sounds a bit like owl city which I like. I really like the cover as well. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song- Santa Cruz (You’re not that far) Least fav- Hollywood kids
I bet this went triple platinum on the American highways in the 80s. Like the vibe and great guitar. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- space truckin Least fav- when a blind man cries
I actually cannot believe I have gone my whole life not knowing the goodfellas music is Layla. The switch in the song absolutely floored me. Great song + album though and mental stories behind them. Really enjoyed it, some of the songs are just a tad long. Would happily listen again though. Specific rating - 4.6 Fav song - Layla/ Bell bottom blues Least fav- have you ever loved a woman?
Not going to lie this really didn’t make much of an impression on me. Liked the general sound and it wasn’t a bad one to listen too but nothing really got to me. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song - heads we’re dancing Least fav - the fog
Sounds like something that would be playing during a scene in Malcolm in the Middle. In the best way. Liked the sound of it- some song a a tad repetitive though. Fully enjoyable listening experience. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- A good idea Least fav- Man on the moon
Thought it would be much more of an assault on the senses than it actually was. I refuse to listen to the rest of the extended version- don’t try and make me listen to the same song again. Specific rating - 3.7 Fav song- bad omens Least fav- peace sells
Not a fan of this apart from the two ones that I knew, which were decent at best. Not making it anywhere near my playlist Specific rating - 3.2 Fav song- personal Jesus/ enjoy the silence Least fav- clean
Absolute bloody banger. Cannot believe she made this so young. No skips straight hits. One of the strongest album starts you’ll see too. Slight dip in the middle but that’s just because either edges are so high. Specific rating - 4.8 Fav song- turning tables Least fav - I’ll be waiting
It’s an iconic album cover but looking again at it I’m not a huge fan. Liked this album a lot but it’s not my favourite Radiohead. Some absolute bangers though. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- just Least fav- bones
Really really nice easy listen. This is what I thought Joni Mitchell would sound like. Feet too present in the album cover is my only real gripe. Specific rating - 4.4 Fav song - so far away Least fav- smackwater jack
Amazing name, alright album. Liked the general vibe of it and the fact it was a live album but didn’t give me much more than that. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song- Baby , Please don’t go Least fav- got my mojo working
Nice rock album. I find it quite annoying they were numbering all the albums then just stopped after IV. Have some consistency. I do quite like the cover art though Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- black dog Least fav- going to California
Love love love superstition but the rest of the songs were just fairly standard funky tunes. Still enjoyable though. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- superstitious Least fav- you got it bad girl
I like the vibe of this quite a lot. Great Beats. It goes on for a tad long maybe. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - sunshine Least fav- black woman
I really like this album but I also really like that it’s only 34 min. Glad they didn’t go on too much. Some of the eastern influence stuff not for me really but liked the general sound and Eleanor rigby is a banger. Also very fitting that about an hour after I listened to taxman HMRC emailed saying that they made a mistake and I actually have overpaid tax. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- Eleanor rigby Least fav- Love you to.
Could have sworn they were British. I’ve been fooled. Decent album though. Sex on fire/ use somebody are bangsrs Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- sex on fire Least fav- crawl
Funky as hell and I love it - some serious bangers in there as well. Maybe just because it’s on right now but those drums in one of the songs reminded me of I’m a celeb. Liked it quite a bit. Thought the song where the guy just talks to you for like 2 mins was actually quite relaxing. Specific rating - 4.4 Fav song - reasons Least fav- see the light
Like the cover and album of this one. Was a bit horny at times but it had a lot of heart and meaning behind it. Some serious bangers too Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song- Disco 2000 Least fav- Live Bed show

Yeah not a fan of this one at all. Would have quite happily died before listening to this one. It’s only rated because of its cultural significance but it’s fucking shit without the context. Specific rating- 0.6 Fav - Mitternacht Least fav- autobahn
A couple songs really carrying this album. Really not a huge fan of a few of the other songs. Radiohead’s merit and the fact that Everything in its right place is one of my favourite songs is really saving it here. Without that it’s way down in my books. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - Everything in its right place Least fav- the national anthem
Not a bad album but it’s really downhill from tiny dancer. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - tiny dancer Least fav- Indian sunset
Starts off really strong with band on the run and jet but falls a bit in the middle before bringing it back. I respect Paul McCartney for basically carrying the whole band on his back. Working serious overtime. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - Band on the run Least fav- Picassos last words
Like the first song, even though I can see people finding it annoying. Gets a bit folky at times but still enjoyed. I think I liked billy Bragg more than Wilco for sure. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song - Walt Whitman’s niece Least fav - Eisler on the go
I absolutely hate come on Eileen and don’t really like the rest of the album either. Kevin rowlands voice is super annoying to me. Instrumentals are alright though. Specific rating - 2.1 Fav song - A to E least fav - Come on Eileen
Had really low expectations for this for some reason but I really liked it. Had a good mix of genres and some serious bangers in there. Some songs had serious arrested development vibes in the best way possible. Minus 0.1 for serious white boy rap. Specific rating - 4.6 Fav song - You’re the best thing least fav- a gospel
A couple bangers in here, but a tad inconsistent. I like the faster songs more than the slower definitely. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song- walk of life Least fav- brothers in arms

Didn’t realise this was frank Zappa’s band but now it makes so much sense. Absolute shitter do an album. I don’t care if it laid the ground work for satirical albums after it’s such a pain to listen to. One hour too long in my opinion. Was having a rough mental day and had to switch off the last song and take a rest to preserve my mental stability. Specific rating 0.6 Fav song - go cry on somebody else’s shoulder Least fav- the return of the song of monster magnet.
Decent bit of rock, gets a bit too much for me at times but I like the general vibe of it, especially even flow (always reminds me of the skate 3 videos) Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song- even flow Least fav - release

In fairness I have had an absolutely awful stressful day. This is one of the worst pieces of media I have ever consumed in my life. I would genuinely rather listen to nails scraping on a chalkboard or audio of unanaesthetised amputations than listen to this again. Who in their right mind puts the effort in to make the music, produce it, take all the photos to collage to make this album cover, to then print the albums and sell them, with such shit music. Feels like a prank honestly. Think I can safely say that if you could see the two paths that my life takes, one with me listening to this before I die and the other one being me dying without having to listen to this, the latter would be more enjoyable. Specific rating - 0.1 Fav song- none of them Least fav- the chrome plated megaphone of destiny
First song transported me back to 2016-2017 like that scene in ratatouille. Was really not expecting it and honestly banger of a song for the rest of it. Other songs were ok but a bit too instrumental at times for me. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - roundabout Least fav- five percent for nothing
Black hole sun is fantastic and the rest of the songs are decent too. 1hr 10 min is too long for an album to be though. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - black hole sun Least fav- 4th of July
Club penguin jazz vibes but in the best way possible. Very enjoyable listen. Specific rating - 4.5 Fav song- three to get ready Least fav- strange meadow lark

Ok but not hugely enjoyable. Feels old but still ahead of its time. Like the cover. Specific rating - 3.8 Fav song - si tu dois partir Least fav - a sailor’s life

Quite enjoyed this one. Guitar was pretty good if a bit samey. Didn’t like the slower ones. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - soubour Least fav - mali

Good rock - short but sweet, fairly samey though. Quite like the colouring of the cover. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song- search and destroy Least fav- your pretty face is going to hell

Messy having this right after foo fighters 👀. Not as big a fan. Courtney loves voice is a bit off sounding to me- she sounds like Jojo siwa. Specific rating - 3.4 Fav song - doll parts Least fav - plump
Actually quite like this album. The instrumental are quite enjoyable. First song really shot me with nostalgia Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - spinning wheel Least fav- sometime in winter
Decent songs in some of them but some seriously questionable ones / lyrics as well. When you take it as a whole it’s just not the most enjoyable listening experience. Specific rating - 3.5 Fav song - heart shaped box Least fav- rape me
Talking heads hit this one really specific niche all the time and it’s just not for me. Also I haven’t forgiven David Byrne for my life in the bush of ghosts. Specific rating - 2.4 Fav song - I zimbra Least fav- drugs
These days I really like, also the cover art, but the rest don’t really do it for me. Chelsea girls is fine but just goes on too long. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song - these days Least fav- it was a pleasure then
Where is my mind is a banger but the rest are all very forgettable. Specific rating - 3.8 Fav song - where is my mind Least fav broken face
Pretty iconic with some good tunes in there. Like his crowd work. Better than Folsom prison where there is announcements halfway through. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - a boy named sue Least fav - San Quentin (reprise)
Quite like the cover of this, and the general album even though it gets a bit too Native American stereotypey at points (or is that the point?). All I know is that I love Neil Young’s voice Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - powderfinger Least fav- Pocahontas
Thought I hated ambient music but j actually enjoyed this quite a bit. Mellowed me out on the tube. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - stars Least fav- Gambia via vagator beach
Actually liked this one, quite an easy listen even though it’s a bit too much on the vocals sometimes. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song- Don’t want to know Least fav- I’d rather be the devil
Pretty good album and I like the cover as well. Ice cream man was a weird deviation but not terrible, just didn’t expect it at all. Like the cover as well. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - Jamie’s cryin Least fav - atomic punk
Don’t know if Talking heads sounds like a shit them or the other way around. Not a huge fan of this either way. Specific rating - 2.4 Fav song - drinking wine spodyody Least fav- thriller!
I’ll give him credit, this is much better than blood on the tracks. Mainly because you hear his voice a bit less. Specific rating - 3.4 Fav song - like a rolling stone Least fav- it takes a lot to laugh, it takes a train to cry
Some good songs on here but getting really tired of the rock/ Metallica. Could have died just listening to one and done I reckon. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song - one Least fav - to live is to die
Enjoyed this. Easy listen. Minus points for him being friends with/ inspiring John Lennon. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song- living without you Least fav - I’ll never leave you
Really liked the instrumental parts of some of these songs but the vocals weren’t quite for me. Reminded me of the chef soundtrack a bit. Specific rating - 3.7 Fav song - guero canelo Least fav- black heart
Very short but still enjoyable. A nice quick album. With some classics on there. Also love the Jerry chanting. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - great balls of fire Least fav - cheating heart
Some good songs in this to be fair, but that’s mainly when you can’t hear morrissey as much Specific rating - 3.7 Fav song - bigmouth strikes again Least fav - I know it’s over

Great album cover, I know a lot of these albums were ahead of their time but this feels really ahead of its time. Can be a tad samey. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - sea song Least fav - catch the sun
Like the cover and most of the songs on this actually but the last one really brings it down. Just too long and too weird. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song - can you get to that Least fav - wars of armageddon
This album cover is so iconic for such a shit album. I get he’s going freestyle or whatever but 11 min songs at a time come on now . Thought the song was over so many times just to have to listen to more tuning practice . Specific rating - 1.7 Fav song - 21st century schizoid ma Least fav - a man a city
Enjoyed this album. Alex turner committed crimes against hair gel but he knows how to make a song I’ll give him that. I like the base level of most songs thought none are really jumping out and making it into the playlist. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - separate and ever deadly Least fav- time has come again
Decent album but quite forgettable. Could have died without listening to it. Specific rating - 3.9 Fav song - witness Least fav - traveler
Start of the album so good I passed by the Brazilian embassy on the way to work and was considering going in for a passport. Minus points for the midway slump and herbie Hancock sounding repeating beat. Specific rating - 4.4 Fav song - ponta de lanca africano Least fav - camisa 10 da gavea
Have gone after him for some of his other albums, and I still think that 7 is too many for one person, but there are some absolute bangers on here. First and last are top tier. Didn’t rate the Beatles cover. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - Young Americans Least fav - across the universe
Just a lovely album to listen to. Minus points for the repetition but bossa nova is so calming. Love it. Specific rating - 4.6 Fav song - Girl from ipanema Least fav - o grande amor
Love heads will roll, even though the remixes do improve on it, love this cover a lot as well. I like the vibe of the whole album, quite upbeat but none of the songs really stuck with me as something I would put in my playlist. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song - heads will roll Least fav - little shadow
See this is an album where I can clearly see the vision and what the experiments were trying to do. Even though they don’t always turn out (20 dollar is painful), there are some successes and one absolute all timer. Also Timbaland has the Midas touch. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - paper planes Least fav - 20 Dollar
Love the general feel of soul albums. This one is a very easy calming listen, it’s nice. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - Freddie’s dead Least fav- Give me your love (love song)
Very English but for the most part I was able to look past that. Prog rock is a hit or miss for me but I’d say I liked this album. Finding out it was Phil Collin made me biased though. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song - I know what I like (in your wardrobe) Least fav - the battle of Epping forest
Interesting challenge to rate this . I mean I enjoyed it but more as background music almost. Still good jazz - but it feels weird ranking it on the same level as more recent albums. It’s an enjoyable listening experience though- calm and doesn’t go too off the rails? Love the cover art as well. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - in a silent way Least fav - shhh/ peaceful
Fantastic album. Such an easy listen while having bangers on it. Was worried he might go too heavy into the African influence in a weird way but it was very tasteful. Less bangers towards the end, gets a bit polka. Specific rating - 4.4 Fav song - you can call me al Least fav - Gumboots
Yeah pretty good rock in general, performed well. Basically just a greatest hits of this band I guess. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - surrender Least fav - hello there
Had no idea this album existed but it’s a pleasant surprise. John Lennon hadn’t been given the weird creative freedom yet j guess so this is a seriously good album. A tad samey to be fair. Like the covers Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - it won’t be long Least fav - til there was you
Really enjoy this one. I wonder if people during the Cold War times got annoyed at the atomic themed music like we get annoyed at Covid episodes in tv shows, or they had a different opinion. Because both were of the times I guess. This cover feels way more timeless than someone artificially wearing a mask though. Specific rating - 4.6 Fav song - the kid from red bank Least fav - after supper
Really like that they just went for a them with their album covers and ran with it. Great album, really like the general sound and some bangers on here. More than a feeling is a real advert song but j still enjoy it. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - more than a feeling Least fav - foreplay/ long time
Nice album cover but really feel this was a forgettable one I could have happily died before hearing . Specific rating - 3.5 Fav song - the once over twice Least fav- year 1

Quite liked this one, sting can come too much into the focus sometimes but apart from that good. I feel like people would hate on any other day but I find it charming. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - message in a bottle Least fav- contact
Shoutout to the raving rabbids on the Wii band mini game. Born to be wild and toxic went triple platinum on that. Hearing it out of the blue on this was like that scene in ratatouille. Meh album otherwise. Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song - born to be wild Least fav- Memphis hip shake
Did not enjoy this one at all. Ended a great recent run of albums :(. Nick cave just says stuff over a bang average backing, and sometimes the lyrics are shit to boot. Black hair is soo bad. Specific rating - 2.5 Fav song- people ain’t no good Least fav- black hair/ green eyes
Very pleasing listen, gets a bit jazzy but a good amount. Specific rating - 4.2 Fav song - so what Least favourite - all blues
Not quite as good as exile on Main Street though it’s hard to beat that. Do not like this cover. Enjoyable songs throughout but some questionable lyrics. Wild horses is just one of my fav songs though and I can’t deny that. Specific rating - 4.3 Fav song - Wild Horses Least fav- brown sugar
Not very into this one. Some of the beats are ok but just out me off. And some parts of the songs are painful. Specific rating - 2.7 Fav song - groove thang Least fav - let’s all make a bomb
Knew this was going to be a weird one just from the cover. Some decent backing tracks in there but the lyrics and voice work were just so bad at times. What was that last song as well. Specific rating - 1.9 Fav song - R.L got soul Least fav - Sticky / fuck shit up
Enjoyed the general vibe of this one, even though some of the songs I didn’t necessarily enjoy . Specific rating - 4.0 Fav song - papa bonheur Least fav - dit jeannot
Some absolutely goated songs on here but again with OutKast albums it is soo long and some of the other songs / skits are shit. I mean where are my panties what even is that. Also revealed a dislike I never knew I’d have to voice- that an album doesn’t have to say its title over and over again. I know which goddmamn album I’m listening to. Specific rating - 3.1 Fav song - hey ya! Least fav- love in war
Genuinely one good song in this and that’s it. Also I know it sounds cool now because it captured the era and stuff but just a song saying the name of the year you are in is soo lazy oh my goodness. Specific rating - 3.5 Fav song - I wanna be your dog Least fav- we will fall
Insanely average album. Just 10 straight songs of meh. Specific rating - 3.0 Fav song - stop me if you thjnk you’ve heard this one before Least fav- unhappy birthday
Pretty good album with some British bangers in there. A lot of similarity between songs but because it’s short and sweet that didn’t grate on me. Specific rating - 4.1 Fav song - someday Least fav- New York City cops
Didn’t have a huge effect on me this album I must admit. In one ear out the other really. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t particularly memorable. Specific rating- 3.8 Fav song- missing pieces Least fav - hypocritical kiss
