I did appreciate the yacht rock elements of it because I love yacht rock but wow the eagles are really not for me. And also one of my least favorite people in middle school was obsessed with the title track so I might be biased but idc this sucked

First half is kinda cool and then it gets horribly boring

Coldplay if it was a shoegaze band

I wish there weren’t so many ballads because wowwww the loud synth tracks are amazing

Sounds like the song I have playing inside of my house in Animal Crossing

Ugh the spacey guitars and anthemic quality of this is soooo good how have I never heard of this album before!! Reminded me of the Blue Nile and Prefab Sprout at some parts

Exactly what I was in the mood for but when it got to the last track I kinda just wanted to go to bed

This was bad and then it became unlistenable

They were just doing whatever in the studio

Love the instrumentals and the album cover but her voice pissed me off

On one hand the production is insane but on the other the lyrics are gross and he’s a nazi

Sleepy country music for the first two thirds, then two awesome psychedelic tracks, then more sleepy country to finish it off

I honestly think the deeper cuts off of this are nearly as good as the singles, but because people haven't heard them as much, they think the rest of the album falls flat. That being said, Kids is still the best track off this record by a long shot

I listen to lots of 90s British dance rock (Blur, Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets) but it's cool to see how much inspiration they took from early hiphop groups like Public Enemy sound-wise

I finally have another song to add to my medieval playlist
