One of the weaker Beatles albums. Run from title track —> she’s leaving home is 10/10 then it drops a steaming pile of shit with benefit of mr kite and within you without you. When I’m 64, the reprise and a day in the life are great though. also john beats his wife but it’s ok he’s changing his scene ☺️

The best non-cream clapton album (and a lot of the good parts are duane allman anyway). Every song is good at least but it goes on a little too long. The cover of little wing is a bit ass compared to the original. Layla hits tho damn both parts slap - the bit where eric is creaming for his best friends wife, and the second half where duane allman goes nuts with the slide is heavenly. Eric also hates foreigners and jim gordon killed his mum.

Really didn’t want to like this because of the nazi shit, and like half the people on it are terrible people but fuck it slapped. I’ve listened to this before but I didn’t realise it was this good. Power, runaway, nicki minaj opening and Gil Scott heron closing fucks so hard, and nicki minaj’s verse on monster might be my favourite rap verse ever. Maybe I was too harsh on yeezus

Brilliant. Not quite on the level of Electric Ladyland, but still some of the best guitar and songwriting I've ever heard. Little wing is one of the most gorgeous songs ever written, spanish castle magic + if 6 was 9 + castles made of sand + bold as love are all insane. Only weak point might be the weird intro (which I kind of like) and up from the skies isn't a great first real song

Such a good album. Even if you don’t like bob a lot of these tracks will still slap, his voice is a lot more palatable here, lyrics are just as good but less convoluted and easier to understand. Blowin’ in the wind is one of the best openers ever, masters of war is so angry, a hard rain’s is a classic, don’t think twice is gorgeous.
