Sounds like Radiohead had a kid with Arctic Monkeys. Most songs are very similar to each other.
It's alright, kinda sounds like that era of David Bowie, for a reason. I'd give it 2.5 if I could.
Wasn't familiar with the non-hit tracks, but they're quirky in a good way.
Dirty blues done right. Sometimes sounds over-polished but it feels like an egg in a well buttered pan.
Not a fan of live albums. The sax solos are pretty tasty which saves it from a 1.
The hits are great of course, but the rest of the tracks are not amazing. Also quite the wtf moment with old men talking in the middle of the album.
Very much Coldplay at home.
Every track is a banger, no fillers. Only Rust In Peace comes close in terms of trash greatness.
Not a fan of live albums, but Cash has a way to deliver that makes this at least listenable.
Decent album, not my favorite Supertramp.
It's Hendrix, is there more to be said? Even the "filler" tracks are filled with tasty guitar sounds.
Aggressively average mid 70's rock. If this album was a color, it would be beige.
Never judge a book by its cover, they say. It's the case here, this is a surprising album, toeing between vanilla rock and proggy bits.
Did not expect that at all from a Madonna album. I expected Taylor Swift-esque stuff but instead got Bjork-esque. Not my usual cup of tea, but not bad overall.
It's a classic for a reason, again. I feel like I say this often but it's true.
All the songs sound very similar but not of them are bad. Makes me feel like I'm in a smoky club in the 50's.
Sounds like an unfinished Beatles album.
It's alright? Even the hits I had never heard. It sounds like a softer version of Jefferson Airplane.
Album went by without me noticing much of it.
Not a fan of hip hop but the lyrics of this album are great.
Actually listenable country. I wouldn't put this on every day but this was a fun discovery.
Classic Police, love it. The fillers are also listenable, for once.
It's ok, I guess. Don't have much to say about it. The change of style mid-way was pretty cool.
It's incredibly full of hits, what else can I say? Maybe avoid the sex song next time?
So cheesy I could have made a fondue out of it.
It's alright? It kind of passed without me noticing it did.
Great blues rock, even if the drummer and Clapton became known to be shitheads.
It's alright. I feel I write this a lot but it is what it is.
The bad songs on this album are the ones that don't feature shredding wankery. This is why we listen to Van Halen, folks.
I'm not convinced Bjork is from Earth. Incredible debut album.
My garbage can makes sounds more pleasing than this record.
I don't get the hype for this album. Is it good? Sure. Does it deserve the top spot? Absolutely not?
Pretty neat. I wasn't familiar with the Pixies non-hits, but this felt right at home.
Eh? Kinda went by without me noticing.
Solid no bullshit prog rock.
Great album to fall asleep to.
Starts boring as paint, but ends up in a surprising experimental place.
Good swing jazz done right, Some of those sax solos are absolutely filthy, love it!
Okay for ambient it does exactly what it says on the tin, the album happened without me noticing. Usually I'd give a 2 or a 1 for that, but here it's the whole point of it.
Not The Queen is Dead, but good enough. I get that Morissey's voice can be annoying but I personally think it gives the band its distinct sound.
Feels good to have the original Bowie instead of the dozens copycats in this list.
It's a cute mix of jazz and soul. Not much to say about it.
I don't think I want high enough to enjoy this album.
I hesitated to give 1 star to this album because style wise it's out there, far from the dozens of britpop albums. But also, I have no interest in a Bollywood movie OST.
3 stars for nostalgia. It's not that amazing besides that.
I'm more familiar with Painkiller. However this album is full of hits for a reason.
I knew of Arcade Fire simply because they're from my hometown. However the album didn't leave a strong impression on me. It's very typical mid-2000s indie.
10/10 no notes. It goes weird towards the end and I'm here for it.
This was a hidden gem. It's quirky, weird, out there, can't find the right words. But damn it's catchy. My only complaint is that it stays for a little too long. But A+ for effort.
Generic ass-pop. Madonna has great stuff, this album isn't it.
I'm aware Wu-Tang Clan is meant to be extremely influential in the rap world, but this album was a complete miss for me.
Not as good as I thought it would be. I guess I like Korn's hits but not much otherwise.
Didn't pay super close attention to this one, seemed like book-standard psychedelic rock from the era.
I was only familiar with London Calling. In comparison, this feels much closer to the punk "ideal", dirty, gritty, angry, not over-produced.
I don't get this album. It should be within my taste profile but it was sour.
Indiest album that ever indied.
Giga supergroup of supergroups. Music wise however this is very unremarkable.
Their singer might not be as technically gifted as others, but boy does he know how to deliver a song.
Techno to put people to sleep. Honorable mention to the Star Trek TNG reference, but not enough to get this one out of the sewers.
Good raw punk. I wasn't aware this had a billion different mixes, but judging from one song (raw power), I prefer Iggy's mix to Bowie's.
It's hard rock from the 70s that stood the test of time, what more do you want?
Dad rock made album. Kinda neat, actually. Maybe I'm spiritually a dad.
It goes to 11 from the first second and doesn't let go. Gets a bit tiring after a while.
The album you've heard a thousand times and still hits hard. I just wish the mix wasn't horrible.
Kind of a modern take on psychedelic rock. Pretty cool but not extraordinary.
This wasn't very hardcore. The album should've been called "This is more britpop"
Not purple rain tier, but good anyways.
Blandest vanilla rock ever produced.
Don't know what to say, this album slaps. Dylan doesn't have the prettiest voice but he carries his songs hard.
This is almost a 5-star just because of Sultans of Swing. Yes, it carries the album that hard.
This was a weird one. It perfectly nailed the "lockdowns started and we're doomed" vibe. Still a bit too poppy for my tastes but a refreshing take on it.
Lennon is only good with McCartney. The opposite is also true.
This is meant to be punk? I don't know, sounded like pretty generic rock to me.
Alright vanilla rock. I got their other album a few weeks ago and this one was better. Not sure why this band has two albums on the list.
Not my favorite Led Zep, but still a classic.
One hit wonder band. Unclear why they have *3* albums on the list.
Absolute masterpiece. Smooth like hot butter in a pan. No fillers, all bangers. This is the album to show someone who wants to know what prog rock is.
One of the 5 million Bowie albums out there on the list. It's not bad but it's also not amazing. The across the universe cover was a nice discovery.
Hard to be objective about this one. It's great, not amazing, but the circumstances of its release gives it that extra feels edge.
