The Bends
RadioheadAmazing album. You can see the seeds of what they’d become on OK Computer and Kid A. Radiohead has always had an edge and always had a softer more melancholy side. Both are on full display here.

Enjoyed the experimental pieces of this. Felt a little one-note ultimately. Wished there was a catchy song on this. Lovely voice.
Wild and beautiful. You really feel like she caught fire when she conceived this album, but also that she perfectly marked the burn limits when she recorded it. Needs a few listens.
Incredible debut. Grim and relentless. Very enjoyable. I enjoyed Shadowplay, and She’s Lost Control a lot. Nothing resembling a single here but great vibes.

So beautiful and personal. You can feel a lot of grief, hope and wisdom in this record. Several amazing singles that defined the era, wonderful flow from song to song. A tremendously deep and meaningful experience.
Really holds up. A truly excellent album. Compelling and haunting, so many interesting moments throughout.
