Just bland. Is this mumblecore? Are all the children of wealthy parents so bored-sounding?

Wow, the album that system it all. And by all, I mean the indistinguishable sameness of early-2000s rock.

Such a new and interesting sound that I actually listened to this album twice yesterday. Will be adding it to my rotation.

I know a lot of Leonard Cohen's greatest hits. But I will admit to not being so familiar with his complete discography. This early album gave a real insight as to where Leonard came from as an artist. A very enjoyable listen. Will be adding it to the regular rotation.

I don't think I've heard most of these songs. Amy's voice does it all and the album works as a cohesive piece. So many early-2000s memories tied to the hits.

Did not enjoy. Songs seemed repetitive and was kind of a slog of a listen.

I didn't hate this. Actually a super up-tempo start to the day.

The chillest way to start the day. Beautiful.

More Zep than ever before! Exciting to hear where it all began. A much bluesier Zeppelin that I'm familiar with. I can understand why this became a classic.

Honestly, I thought every song sounded like every other. I can hear the roots, the inspiration, for so many other albums and artists in this one.

I prefer the older Radiohead, but it was fun to listen to where the band went.

Other than the Boys are Back in Town, I had never heard any of these songs. Decent filler for the oldies station I suppose.

I will admit that this is a band I had only ever heard of and never heard. Once again, though this is not my new favorite album, I can totally hear the origins of later music in the chords of this.

I remember trying to like this album when it came out. There were some catchy songs but the content of those songs made the album unlistenable.

I've never heard of Paul Weller before. However, this was some excellent filler music for Radio Paradise.

I'll be honest. I think all Bruce Springsteen songs sound exactly the same. This album was no different for me.

Meh. It's no wonder that this band never hit the grunge scene like others. Not much variety to their sound.

It's obvious how scripted and intentional this band is. I love the Monkees and enjoyed this listen to their early work.

I don't know how I avoided this album when it was fresh. But it has been holding up like a champ these last 25 years.

Good to know that Rod Stewart has been cranking out songs that sound indistinguishable from one another for 50 years.

TIL that Pulp and Oasis are two different bands.

I can appreciate that Jeff Buckley was on his way to greatness when he passed away. It's a sad story. Maybe he is the first soulful folk singer to make a name for himself in the '90s, but from 2022 there are a whole lot of voices that sound like his. Gone too soon!

When repetition becomes iconic. They all sound the same. They all sound like the Beasties.

This album is like an Edward Gorey book come to life.

When this album first came out, it was one of my favorites. But giving it another lesson, it sounds like too many albums and one. Not as enjoyable as it was.

While I appreciate the Beyonce is the best thing in the world ever ever, I just think all of her music sounds the same.

Though this is not my sound, I really enjoyed the energetic guitars on this album. Despite not enjoying the volume and the speed of the music, I found myself tapping my foot along.

This album sounds like it could be from any decade from the 1970s to today. The theremin and dreamy vocals make me feel like I am in a fantasy movie soundtrack.

Easy album full of music seemingly designed to be background sounds to a Gen X workday.

I actually can't stand Depeche Mode. While I appreciate that having a unique sound makes you stand out from other bands, sometimes you have such an affected and distinctive sound that everything just sounds the same. This is that.

I think this was the first album that I actually hated. I don't dislike the kings of Leon's more recent sounds, but this was too rough for me to properly digest.

I mean, if I had a $1000/day heroin habit, maybe I could be this brilliant, too!
