BL: Aware of The Police but never listened to them too much. I know my parents both love them, so I’ll see how it is. AL: yeah just didn’t like this one in the slightest. I liked “wrapped around your finger”, but other than that it was all very samey, the synths just don’t work for me. It’s all very contrite and mehhhhhhh the whole way through. I feel bad for hating on this but I just can’t get into it. FT: “wrapped around your finger” 1/5
The poster child for the salvation army dollar record bin. Any positives this album might have had, were instantly erased with that painful attempt at reggae. 1 bee sting out of 5 🐝
Awful
My least favorite album by the Police. I k ow it had the most commercial success but I can’t understand why this is on this list over any of the 4 albums that came before it. It’s too polished maybe? It doesn’t invoke the same feelings as the previous albums did for me. And Every Breath You Take is perhaps my least favorite song in the universe and I can’t be the only one who found it creepy as fuck to be used over and over again as a wedding song. Big NO THANK YOU here.
Reaaaally not into this
Corny AF
No good
This was terrible. I was amazed "Every breathe you take" is in this album and the one star I'm giving it belongs entirely to that song.

Did not like it.
I have nothing but hate for this band.
Mother is the worst song I have ever heard so congratulations on that the police. This album is incredibly repetitive. Draining. Gets better after every breath you take. But fuck you sting and the police
Instruments compete for space and occasionally falls into a cacophony. Every Breath You Take is just disturbing. Not enjoyable
I’d sooner be arrested
Creepy AF.
have on vinyl, honestly not a big fan
Utter bollocks
De do do do de da da da
Mostly utter tosh including some tunes that feel like they're on there as s joke.
I’d sooner be arrested
Fuck the Police
This really sucks. The Police represent a lot of stuff I hate in popular music, and this, their final album, feels like a culmination of all that - the pretentious songwriting, muso navel gazing, shiny songs that glide past each other with a minimum of friction and even less to get excited about.
Just no
I just thought that was terrible.
