Shite Life
Crap Metal, Country Crap, Crap Rock. He mixed a variety of genres and the album still manages to sound boring. 1 ⭐ for Eminem.
Some of my favourite blur songs are on this album. I even enjoyed the interludes.

I understand how this is a good album, but I struggled to enjoy it. Prefer Simon on his own.
Zeitgeist of the time. Maybe you're meant to take LSD to enjoy it.
'Suzanne' and 'So long, Marianne' are great. Some songs has beautiful storytelling with understated music. The rest of it is boring.
There wasn't any particular songs that stood out for me, and some songs are a bit cringy. But overall ok and I imagine it would be great to see live.
Some of my favourite blur songs are on this album. I even enjoyed the interludes.
I never liked his singles. I gave this album a go and I still don't like his music.
A couple of good tunes. Felt like a poor man's Led Zep. 'Hard Lovin' Man' gave me a headache.
Typical sad 60's Country.
I wouldnt mind this if I was walking past the West Holts Stage at Glasto.
Some of my fave Beatles songs on this album, some ok, but it's too long, long, long.
I like their 90's grunge pop sound, but most of the tracks are a bit samey.
Melodic tunes, but just a bit boring.
Not entirely pleasant, but I appreciate their experimentation and it was interesting.
On paper, I should like this, but it's just ok. Although the work he put into it is impressive.
I would listen to this again and I will check out their other albums.
I was apprehensive about this thinking it was going to be another 'Electric Prunes', but it was actually alright!
Super album
Amazing Schmazing
It got a bit annoying
First couple of songs were good, so was 'call the police', the rest was a bit dull.
Some melodic tunes. Its so minimalist that some songs sound like demos. Too floaty for me.
Love the title track, but for the rest, I have difficulty enjoying Jazz.
Intense, experimental and cohesive. Great album.
Enjoyed it for a little while, then I got bored.
As a concept album it sounded interesting, but for me it wasn't an interesting or enjoyable listen.
Love almost all the tracks on this album. It's beautiful, melodic, cohesive and a bit dancey.
De do do do de da da da
Ok, they're good musicians and are being all experimental and avant garde but it wasn't that enjoyable to listen to.
It was ok, and I learnt a little bit about 18th century American history.
Most of the songs sound the same
Crap Metal, Country Crap, Crap Rock. He mixed a variety of genres and the album still manages to sound boring. 1 ⭐ for Eminem.
Interesting stories and funny in parts.
Im not a fan if his voice, but it's interesting and some beautiful moments.
I like some of her stuff but i've never been a fan. I only enjoyed a couple of tracks on this album.
Enjoyed this album more than I expected. Reminded me a tiny little bit of Talking Heads. One drawback, is that there are too many songs on it.
Kept me satisfied. Beautiful and tender. Even more intense after reading about Marvin's personal struggles.
It's good, but prefer Jeff Buckley's version of 'Lilac wine' and Greg's version of 'Black is the colour'.
Yeah you can hear Bowie's influence.
Nice idea
An unromantic romantic album.
I like some of Dylan's earlier political folky albums. I also like this bluesy personal instrospection version of him too.
Enjoyed this more than I expected. Although, l'm more interested in the story of Mark E. Smith and the Fall more than their music.
ThelyricsareinterestingbuttherewerequiteafewthingsIfoundirritatingaboutthisalbum.
Started to like this more after a second listen.
Sounds like a bad trip.
Good fun, and I love Rock Lobster.
I'm not sure how I feel about flutes.
I would have tolerated the gibberish more, if the music was better.
At the time; it was a refreshing hip hop album.
This really did go nowhere
Not a fan of this type of 80's rock, but it's a good album with of plenty of hits.
First couple of tracks were interesting then it got a bit boring.
Shite Life
A nice sound, but only a couple of tracks stood out.
Not a fan of transgressive hardcore, horrorcore hip hop, but this is pretty clever.
Ok music, bad lyrics.
Lovely soulful album and really enjoyed his version of 'How to mend a broken heart'. Shame he has a bad past.
Love the first two tracks, but the rest was a bit boring.
The album cover looks sinister and the music was tormenting.
Really like 'Blister in the sun', and I found myself head bopping to a few more tracks.
Boring, but not irritating.
Best Bowie album i've listened to so far.
I would enjoy this more if I was hearing it whilst watching Shaft.
Badipus Schmobadipus
I love quite a bit of Bolan's music but this album wasn't as good a I expected it to be.
'Rubys Arms' is more beautiful and heartbreaking than all of Adele's sad songs put together. I'm not a fan of his voice, but it didn't stop me from enjoying this album.
In the middle.
Love this. It really is a mash up of so many influences and it sounds great.
Two half decent songs. The rest is boring.
An amalgamation of Led Zepplin, QOSTA, My Chemical Romance and Ricky Martin has produced quite satisfactory results.
Oi! 'Fix Up, Look Sharp' is sweet as a nut. The rest of the album is mostly ok.
Not really into eight-sided, extraterrestrial, psychopathic, pornagraphic gynecologists; but the music on its own is ok.
Really enjoyed this album. However, it loses a star for being too long for me, but it gains the star back for good album artwork.
Good storytelling and funny. Prefer Original Pirate Material.
Obviously talented. Enjoyed 'Send My Love' and 'All I Ask'. The rest is a bit boring, and I can't handle that much sad/soppiness in one go. Needs cheering up a bit.
Only a touch better than prunes.
Pleasant enough, but too long. Thank goodness this wasn't a deluxe edition.
It sounds a bit better whilst watching the film; although I didn't enjoy the film much either.
Mixture of good and bad.
No, no, nope. Don't like it.
Grim
It's alright, can't chill to it though.
Sounds like an OK sixth form band.
Almost lost a star for everything being an exclusive.
Not a bad pop album. A couple of great songs. Wasn't impressed with the Prince cover.
Very good. Star deducted for talking too much on 'Last Call'.
Lead singer's voice is annoying but appreciate their motivation, and sound is ok.
Started off well, then got a bit boring.
I've never felt so indifferent about an album. I didn't think or feel anything about it. Its just a boring 'ok'.
I'm now a Human League fan.
Goodfun
Dull
This 1001, has made it great to learn about other countries music and politics.
I'm normally dubious about covers, but Johnny Cash nailed it
I've j
Listening to a whole album of death, drugs, hatred and resentment can be exhausting. Some funny lyrics tho 'can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
Poor man's Marc Bolan. His middle name Obi takes after Obi-Wan Kenobi 😂
Funkin Great
Dis order
Boring RnB with some swear words.
'nuf That Shit
An objectively judged, art separated from artist 5
This album sounded amazing on wikipedia, then I listened to it and was an anticlimax. It's just Ok and had interesting lyrics but, I'm not hearing what Taylor Swift's fans are hearing.
'The Forest' is one of my fave The Cure songs. The rest of album is not bad.
A little bit of nonsene is OK. I like the album cover.
Not a fan of country, but I liked this more than expected, especially 'coat of many colours'.
I was expecting to hate this. So extra star for the surprise, and I could see myself jumping around to this after drinking a 6-pack.
Just sounded like one 20 minute song.
Love 'breaking the law'
I've always disliked 'Wake Up Boo'. This is better.
This can join Suicide and Electric Prunes.
Probably worth higher rating but i'm not a fan of her voice and the music is not that exciting. It just ok.
I'm a sucker for a good falsetto and the music is nice too.
I like the album cover.
Im sure it's really good if you like that kind of thing.
Mange tout
Some nice melodies, quite pleasant.
Not feeling it. I was gonna give this 2* then I read it was one of the first concept albums.
Well it's that he tried new things.
Not a fan if Coldplay, but this album is alright. The Jeff Buckleyish song 'Shiver' is my fav because it sounds more like Jeff Buckley than Coldplay.
Great musicianship, an iconic singer, but it's a Bossa No - va from me.
Mostly dull
It was ok to listen to when cooking dinner. But wouldn't listen to it for relaxation purposes.
'Zebra' is great, the rest ok.
After listening to a few of their albums, I now think they are an overrated band.
I didnt like 'Hay' but if I had to choose the best abbattoir music, it's probably on the The Smiths 'Meat is Murder'. The rest of the album is interesting.
Bopping through most of the album
Britney's voice is annoying but there's some good melodic song writing. I might have like it more if Christina Aguilera sang it.
1 star for musicianship and another star for the nice drawing on the cover.
The best song is 'Loneliest Person' because it sounds nothing like the rest of the album.
Giving this an extra star because 'Holding back the years' makes me think about 'Only Fools and Horses'.
A lot going on and it sounds good.
This had potential
Bewildering and funny. Great musicianship and some nice melodies amongst the chaos.
Would have scored 3* if the male vocals werent annoying me.
One of my favourite albums as a teenager and it still is.
This is extraordinary. I don't think i've ever heard this many boring songs in one go.
Album could be better but an extra star for being pioneering.
Sounds like the sort of bland music you get in some american dramas, or in Poundland.
Ok, but I think I enjoy saying his name more than listening to his music.
Think this might have been a little overrated at the time.
Probably being generous, but one of the better country albums i've listened to.
Metropolis is one of my favourite films, and I love her experimental musical interpretation of it.
An extra point for attempting to hit Jay Z in the lift.
This would get 5* if I was experiencing this album live with Coyne in a bubble and dancing fur animals.
Lose a point for their spelling mistake.
I hate albums with a thank you song. Her songs are not good enough for an album this long.
I enjoyed this when I first heard it in the 90's. Listening to it again now it is just feels too grim for me.
Not sure if this is a so bad it's good, or just good with a lot of bad, but then it's good. Gonna settle with OK.
Funny that the Electric Prunes were mentioned at the end.
Almost lost a star for ruining 'Love hangover'
I actually listened to all of this. A majority of it is very charming with nice melodies but also got annoying in places.
An extra mark for them being distinctive. It was ok for first half then I started to find the voice and music sickening.
Unexpectedly really enjoyed this, and I was surprised when I heard 'Da ya think i'm sexy'.
The best thing on this album is 'Youre the best thing'.
This sounds like it has been written for a Neil Diamond biographic musical (absence of his music).
Made me smile when I heard a sample of Musical Youth's 'Pass the Dutchie' in 'Revolutionary Generation'.
Many of my favourite Beck songs on this album.
They are taking way too many drugs.
I had difficulty listening to a lot of it.
Maybe it gets better the more you listen to it. My first listen is just 1⭐️
Listen to most of the songs fully, and the ones I didnt like halfway. I like American songbook in rom coms and christmas films, not in 3 hour long albums.
Prefer elevator music.
Yeah, I think only like 80's/early 90's Madonna. A couple of good songs; but a bold, stupid title for a mediocre album.
I usually love this genre but scraped 3* from me. It's okay, but sounds like a more boring version of Drake, and I already find Drake boring.
Listening them on a Live album, is even more strenuous than listening to them on a Studio album.
This was annoying.
I've never had had sex to this album, 4*.
Love 'Coat of many colours' but prefer Dolly singing it.
I'm confused. There was so much work, talent and great muscianship put into this and I found it painful to listen to. Maybe it's a grower?
Remembering that a 20 year old me found this quite refreshing at the time.
A bit too boring for me, also there's no need to revisit 'Blue Moon'.
This album is so unbearable, that my Spotify actually cut off during it.
Maybe they should have stuck to 'quality over quantity'.
I think Throbbing Gristle may have nicked this from the BBC sound effects library.
Annoyed me in then, annoys me now.
Bit contrived
An extra star for all that hard work they put into doing irregular time signatures.
This sounds like sort of stuff that would accompany experimental performative art. Which I like, but listening to this is annoying.
