Some brilliant songs, some that I didn't like at all.

The worst album I've ever heard. Would have given 0 stars if it had been possible.

Best album so far.

Great voice and a few high points music wise, but it has way too much saxophone and isn't a genre I'd listen to again.

This is the second time this has come up on one of my groups. First time I thought it was just okay. I now think this is a vinyl pickup. Superb tunes.

Wonderful album with some amazing songs. Columbia, Slide Away and Supersonic are as good as it gets from that era of music. Did I mention Shakermaker is shite?

20 minutes too long. Might have squeezed a 3 star out if it weren't for that.

Didn't know any of the songs beforehand but will buy this on vinyl. Tight as fuck. I know it's not on the actual original album but the funk guitar on My Brain (zig zag) is superb.

Didn't mind it but too outside my comfort zone for a high score. Would never listen again.

Stunning. They are absolutely wonderful here. The song choices are perfect, the Meat Puppets are a great addition to this and Where Did You Sleep Last Night? is incredible. If I could have been at one show, this would have been it.

I like Metallica a lot but this is very pretentious. The orchestral element doesn’t add anything to the songs, quite the opposite. Several times I thought it sounded like the songs had been adapted for a movie soundtrack. A real shame.

There was potential here but he says N more than wu tang clan, it was juvenile in parts and the later controversies aren't a surprise after listening to this.

Easy listening and couple of proper classics.

Thought this was excellent other than the sax solo in The Gumbo Variations. Totally killed my enjoyment of the song.

Heard this for the first time 15 years ago. Loved it then, love it now. Can understand why it’s an acquired taste though so 2s & 3s won’t surprise me.

Probably the biggest surprise I’ve had on this group. Guitars and drums are brilliant.
