There’s probably a 4 or 5 star album buried in here but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna spend another 2 hours trying to find it. A more selective approach might’ve resulted in a shorter, better album. All things must pass quality control

Enjoyed it. No bad songs on there but also no amazing ones, rattled along nicely.

An incredible listen. Really bowled over by it from start to finish. Fully felt the weight of a man facing the end. Superb.

An easy 3 in the end. Gris-Gris Gumbo Ya Ya, Walk On Gilded Splinters and Jump Sturdy are all great. Not bad for an album with only 7 songs on it. Groovy in the purest possible sense. ✌🏼

First track is great. The rest is ok. Tough for Western ears to get. One star for the musicianship + one star for my white guilt.
