I remember seeing advertisements for this album on television. Therefore, I find this way too 'in the face'. Also, the excess of way to obvious autotune bothers me a bit too much. I bobbed my head on 'Blinding Lights', but that's almost it.

Although I like some post-rock - and in that cause longer songs - from time to time, these songs seem to be much more split up in distinct parts. It might be a creatieve choice, but in my opinion they would stand better as individual songs. On the other hand: The music is very good. Some good build-ups, lovely use of the violin. Very beautiful atmosphere

Some latin, some jazz, and even some disco. It's a fun album, but not really worth a re-listen for me

The first few songs were lovely, timid songs. It felt like everything fits good together. The second part of the album is more uptempo. And in another way, everything fits too! Precious little surprise

I found this album quite dull and boring. And then 'Tick of the Clock' came on. Multiple times I thought: "What is this song?", "Why is this even a song?", "Why is this 15 minutes long?!?"... This 1 song completely broke the album for me, and is the main reason of giving this the lowest rate

Another classic album for which it is a shame it's not included in the books. With 4 successfull hitsongs it would deserve its place. They sure love the reverb in the vocals. And the guitar riffs are very funky.

Some lesser known songs from Status Quo. The first song had me thinking it would sound all alike. But to my surprise, this album was more diverse than expected

I remember listening this album when it came out. I don't really like this 'crooner'-version of Arctic Monkeys. And now, at the re-listen, it didn't change that much.

This album was a 50/50 for me. The 'heavier' songs I did not like. But the more dreamy ones were okay. But I had a little struggle to get to the end of this album

Loved this album. Very poppy sound, without deviating too much from the traditional rock-vibes. Some folk and big-band parts are to be found also. I'll keep this one in my favorites!

It's like a rock opera fairytale. Usually I listen these albums during my car commute. And so I did with this. But it gave me the urge to listen it again, with the lyrics in front of me to really get the full story.

I liked the ska songs, but the more 'punky' ones were lacking something

Don't know what it is with me and Icelandic music. But Björk, Sigur Rós, Dadi Freyr, Of Monster and Men,... All of them seem to fall in my favor. And this one is no exception! It sounds magical, atmospheric, intimid and grotesque all at once! Loved it!

Very heavy indeed! The energy just splashes in your face, even though you're not in the live audience! Amazing wall of sound too. Good choice!

To me, this one sounded like a bad busker on a London street. Singing was awful, guitar sounded too out of tune to me... Very chaotic. Although I liked the songwriting, I had a hard time listening to this album

I like some hardcore where the screaming isn't too dominant. But the music here was lacking some power

What a throwback! I had a period where I listened to Death Cab a lot, but had forgotten them. Now listening to this album, I realise what I loved about them again! His voice is so recognizeable, and the lyrics are sombre, but kinda hopefull.
