Entirely forgetable pop music, probably dear to those who grew up with it, but rather boring for someone who did not. I can appreciate post-punk and brit-pop, but I don't see what is there to like about this album. The melodies are primitive and boring, the lyrics are terrible, the vocals are nothing special and the mix did not age well at all. I don't think I'll ever listen to it again.

Surprisingly to similar to metal/hard-rock from that era, especially in first few tracks. Black is a great song. Highlight of the album. Love it. Overall a solid album, well written, performed, recorded and mixed, but I was not terribly interested for the most part. Vocals stand out the most, but not in a good way, and everything else is almost boring. Certainly would not be in my own top 1001 albums.

Amazing album. I'm not a big fan of rnb, but I enjoyed it a lot. Very well writen and recorded pop-music, even more impressive considering it came out in the 70s.
Iconic album, aged greatly. Bigmouth strikes again is the highlight of the album, of course. Love it.
That album would be tolerable if they could actually sing.
Emily The Album. Production is ok, rapping is meh, the whole album is not very interesting musically and the lyrics are hideous. Half of it is not even music, just talking over very basic beats. Vocals are great in a few songs where she actually sings, but it is the only redeeming quality this album has.
Iconic album. Aged rather well too, which can't be said for most of electronic music of that period. It is not flashy, but it is really well made. Works great as a background music, but has enough details to be interesting if you are paying attention too. And it's influence is undeniable.
This is just a perfect trip-hop album, I can't believe I had not heard it before. Loved every second of it.
Surprisingly good record. Easy listening, but not mindless.
Fantastic album, especially all the instrumental tracks were great. Aged amazingly well
It sounds like people who don't listen to metal think all metal sounds like. Drumming is very impressive, aswell overall technique by everyone other than vocalist (who is not extreme and or grotesque as much as everyone else). But overall it's not really my thing.
Such a pleasant album to listen to.
4* for the beats -2* for the rhymes Man I don't get gangsta rap
This could have been a passable album.. if the vocalist was actually able to sing.
Live (but not really) And Dangrous(ly boring)
How Long Has This Been Going On? I Can't Be Bothered now Oh, So Nice But Not For Me
