“What’s a wonderwall anyway” is a pretty funny line

The GOAT for a reason
Decent album but not as good as the queen is dead or meat is murder
Bluuuuuuuuuesy
Too weird to enjoy but definitely an impactful album
The rap based tracks are decent but too much of the album is Damon Albarn being annoying
Very soulful, we love it
One of the greatest albums of all time. Perfect blend of the beautiful simplicity of the early Beatles and the creativity of the later years
A couple good tracks
Shiiiiite
Nice
Like early Floyd with hints of late Beatles. Good psychedelic fun
As a whole not really my thing, but the last track was pretty great
Very nice
Generic 60s hippie stuff, was ok
Not really to my taste but was nice to listen to something different, can definitely see why people like this sort of music
A rare example of a B side better than an A side
The first track gave a glimpse of the sound Paul Simon would eventually establish as a solo artist, but most of the album felt like Simon and Garfunkel without Garfunkel, but that’s still some pretty good music
I knew his 50s stuff but wasn’t aware of any of this style. Very much enjoyed it
Those darn youngsters have no taste
Nice and sad
Boring
Elton is annoying
Jazz
Too weird
Streets of Kenny haha what a shithole
Three classic tunes make this is a great album, the rest are decent tracks but not enough for 5 stars
Creedence 👌
Fucking shite. The world isn’t out to get you, white man
Probably be 5 stars if Neil Young didn’t have such a weird voice (sorry Neil)
Wish him and Young had done more just the two of them, with more emphasis on Youngs songwriting and Stills as a frontman and guitarist. But what do I know
Decent album, always been something cool about kings of Leon
Bit too 80s for me, but it wasn’t terrible
Mellow
Not a fan but music needs something different, just doesn't always hit the mark
Was alright but not good enough to be that long
It was music
Saved by two decent tracks, one of which has a much better cover version. This is what happens when three blonde men are allowed to do something together
Decent. Bit like Springsteen but more country
Starts well but gets a bit too jazzy for me, was still ok though
Class
Some tunes but felt like listening to the same song again after a while
Given that it’s not my genre at all, it was pretty good
It was ALRIGHT
Few good tracks but a bit too hillbilly for me
Jazz
Wanted to give 3.5, rounded upwards
Was ok
Not huge on Kate Bush but I enjoyed this album more than I thought. I also love a reference to Joyce
Wanted 3.5, rounded up because the last track was a great cover
Surprised by that, class
Bit repetitive but nice
Groovy
Some bops on there but imagine it would get annoying after a bit. Decent album though
Bit annoying
Bit weird but ok
First track was nice, some other cool tracks throughout
Very nice, like a preacher who can sing
I had half a mind to give this two stars on the basis that it did a good job at making me feel like I was about to be murdered (maybe that was the point). The booker tease I suppose was some kind of post-modernist joke that was marginally fun maybe. I’m really clutching at straws here. Fuck you for promoting senseless violence against ducks anyway
Enjoyed this a lot more than I expected
Listened to it twice. Hope my funerals as good as MacGowan’s
Blur are rubbish
Not a big Metallica fan but given that this is a live album it’s very good
Absolute class
Unbelievable album from a bunch of genius loonies!
A near perfect album, just a shame I have an ex called Celia!
Good ol’ cheesy crap
Very chilled but suffers in the same way most reggae suffers, in that its rhythm is very repetitive so the songs can get a little samey
I’d say there are definitely better doors albums but riders on the storm and La woman are just so good that I’m giving the album a 4
What a racket. I quite liked Some Day One Day though
I like the psychedelic stuff usually, love this era, but this one didn’t do it for me
Hero
Not even funny how good this album is. However, I will shake my butt as hard or as soft as I damn well please, thank you very much
Really really generic
As far as jazz goes it was decent
I actually like Kate Bush when she sings like a normal human being
Pleasantly surprised by a lot of this but what was all that weird German stuff towards the end 😂
Pedoooooooooo
Bit too 80s
Only so long I can listen to a man making sex noises whilst talking about murder
Can’t really go wrong with Mr Zimmerman
Think I’m too hungover for that
Bit annoying
Guilty pleasure for blank space, the rest is so boring
Annoying
The king
We won it five times
Last song was too weird. Album was interesting though, very theatrical
Wouldn’t want to live in a world where Johnny Cash never existed
Great album but goes on a little towards the end, apart from train in vain which is an undisputed tune
Some great tracks on there, last one made me vomit though
I think of John, himself and George I definitely like his post Beatles music the least, even if he was the most successful
But weird
Class
The stones are so ok
Think this is one of the first albums I fell in love with
I enjoyed that so much more than I expected
German techno is so weird but the model is such a tune
Can tell he was on a come down
I’ll be the first to admit that I had much lower expectations
The rest of the album was so boring that I almost enjoyed yellow in comparison
Class album, read somewhere that it gets loads of shite but I can’t see why
Crazy how much I liked Physical graffiti and how annoying I found this
Bit annoying
Is it just dead cool to worship these? They’re alright
“What’s a wonderwall anyway” is a pretty funny line
Just not In the mood
So much better than synchronicity
What a band
Boring
Jazz
Christ
Really fucking weird but not necessarily in a bad way, I like that it’s something different
I’ve added a star for “I love you like a fat kid loves cake”
I’ll just never get it
Great cover of take me to the river
Not sure there’s any Beatles album that wouldn’t get a 5
Why was that unreal
Class
Ha boner
Morrisseys a douche
Killing in the name is harrowing but then the rest of the album just kinda sounds like a less impactful version
Bit timeless our dusty
Bad man
Great album and one of my favourite songs
Why was that class. Knocked a star off for touching comfortably numb though, that’s kinda sacrilegious
Some nerds of note include popcorn magnate Orville Redenbacher, rockstar David Byrne and Supreme Court justice David Souter
Can really hear how good his voice was here
Dude sounds like shaggy from scooby doo
Prefer the first album
Yer da
Too bang average to be 2 and a half hours long
I gave it an extra star for the father Ted theme tune, and because my lovely horse was on some expanded edition
This is an example of good enough to be 3 hours long
I can appreciate this isn’t to my taste, but I’m also not sure that it’s very interesting anyway
Musics nice at times, but her voice goes right through me
His first truly great album
Too much incest. Was tempted to give it some more stars for that track of just dudes sucking each other off
Oof it’s like 4.5 really
Kind of sounded like that song in team America world police, that goes “what would you do?”
That was just about music
Don’t really care for jazz, but some of that was quite nice
Van the man
It wasn’t horrendous but no way could I listen to an hour of that
John Wayne Gacy, what a lad
Didn’t hate it
Great album by a great band. I find most Brit pop bands to be criminally overrated, blur and oasis in particular, but the verve had a couple unreal albums. Shame the Rolling Stones are a bunch of cunts
Yeah too weird
Not really my thing but the album felt very kind of definitive of that genre of cheesy 80s pop rock, certainly felt like a relevant album and was enjoyable enough
Couldn’t get through that
The longer the note, the more dread
I mean it’s deffo their worst album that includes Reed, but still
It’s a very very good album, but I’m never convinced when people say it’s the best ever
One of his best
One of my favourites
Only really giving that the time of day because the obvious song on there, her voice grated on me after a while. Which is strange, because I quite liked pearl
Probably 4.5 really
Bit of a trailblazer our iggy
Track by track it’s just incredible
Heavy from John
Wouldn’t want to live in a world without Frank
I love the “we aren’t surfers anymore” narrative, find it very funny. Disney Girls and a day in the life of a tree are such beautiful songs. RIP Brian Wilson, getting fucked up in heaven with Dennis now
What a way to sign off
Borders on douchey at times but was ok
Definitely some of their better stuff
There really is some pretentious crap out there. Don’t know what more I’d expect from a Manc. Given it an extra star because Jarvis Cocker sang on first track
Kinda fun, but goes on a little bit
Possibly greatest live album ever
Not usually big on jazz but quite enjoyed that
Was ok until that really shrill shite at the end
I didn’t HATE it like I thought I would
Why’s this guy just made an album about gynecology
That was really boring
Much better than any of their later stuff
Christ that was quick
Not their best but still nice
God beastie boys are crap
Like David Bowie if he was crap
They’ve done better stuff but still decent
I’m Stevo and this is poo cocktail supreme
It’s like 4.5 really
So long that Ringo gets two songs
What a strange dude he is
