It’s unfair to have “Father And Son” on the album because it obviously boosts a rating.

I remember of learning of Herbie Hancock as a pre-teen through drum lessons. It was nice to revisit “Chameleon” and “Watermelon Man” and explore the rest of this album. Electric stuff, of course.

I found this to be quite dull. My favourite track was “Down By The River” but after being served up Herbie Hancock’s “Head Hunters” yesterday, this ten minute song with solos-galore felt like child’s play.

Delicious sound of The Smiths in an ultimately forgettable album.

Dare I say the album art might be by far the best thing about this album.
