I just can't with his voice.
Great songs horrible voice. Perfect Day is by far the highlight.
If you’ve ever listened to an adult contemporary station you know the highlights. Great singles boring deep tracks
People who like this genre of music will probably like it.

Pleasantly surprised by this album
Twice as long as it needs to be.
Too many bland UK rock bands so far.
Goes on too long. Wears out by the end
Generic garbage
Very good bass album
Speakerboxx: 2.5 The Love Below: 3.5
Iconic album but all songs sound the same
Very much an acquired taste.
Creepy sex music
Van Halen is probably the most overrated band in the history of rock music. Great guitar playing doesn’t make up for band songwriting. Ain’t Talking Bout Love is a jam though.
It's 1001 Albums to Hear Before You Die because this is the 1 that gives you the aneurysm that kills you.
I kind of can’t stand his voice.
Good summer vinyl album
Good vinyl album
Sounds like a Public Enemy ripoff.
Holds up about as well as a nu metal album can. Second only to Toxicity. Second half of the album begins to wear out.
Great mood listening for a lazy day. Loved this album
Extra star for her influence by I find her music to be unbearably boring.
Boring and one dimensional.
This bands music makes me physically cringe.
Non-smug Father John Misty
I just don't like blues music.
This was a great album when I was 14
Pretentious twat
Acquired taste
"Person playing acoustic guitar and singing" might be the world's most boring genre of music.
Disappointed by the albums the author chose to represent metal.
It's 1001 albums. They're not all going to be winners.
I feel like I missed the boat on Sonic Youth.
I can't stand Madonna and was fully ready to give this 1 star. But the production is actually really cool and there are some real bangers on here.
Better than I expected. I’m glad I gave it more of a chance.
This is probably a 2 but On Some Faraway Beach and Here Come the Warm Jets push it up a grade.
Starts off strong but the grime beats wear you down after a while.
I am 143 albums in and this is by far the worst album so far. And I’ve already listened to Devil Without a Cause.
I love Otis Redding but it’s hard to justify an album full of cover songs a good rating.
Great songs horrible voice. Perfect Day is by far the highlight.
I'd probably like this more if I wasn't listening to it while filling out my taxes.
People who like this genre of music will probably like it.
I can't stand live abums
An acquired taste
A lot of incomplete ideas. Some gems
The album that invented dad rock. John Entwistle’s bass playing ups this a star.
If you’ve ever listened to an adult contemporary station you know the highlights. Great singles boring deep tracks
Starts off pretty fun but winds up being fairly redundant and boring as a whole album.
I was looking forward to listening to this one and left feeling pretty underwhelmed. It’s fine but not as great as it gets described.
This album has some really catchy music and production and could easily be a 4 or 5. Unfortunately too many tracks having these annoying and repetitive sound clips mixed in that get very agitating.
This is a dense album and very unique but it has some gems if you are willing to give it a chance. Not exactly something I'd seek out to listen to but I can see why people would like it.
Top 3 Wu Tang Albums: 1. 36 Chambers 2. Cuban Linx 3. LIQUID SWORDS
This is a fun listen.
This person sings like they're in the middle of a yawn.
Good instruments, gets boring at times
I really wanted to like this album. But I didn't.
I Had Two Much to Dream Last Night is great but the songs overall are hit or miss. Cool 60's vibe, I enjoyed this overall.
First two songs are James. Last two songs are boring.
Good album but the style can get old if you’re not in the mood. I like the bright vocals on a summer day.
Non-descript 90's rock
My initial thought on first listen, before even looking at the album storks, was “This sounds like one of those albums from the 70’s that would have a spaceship on the cover.”
The other Willie Nelson album I reviewed got 5 stars. Unfortunately I thought this one was kind of boring.
Overrated
Some of these obscure British from the 80's and 90's are unlistenable.
Adding to learn on drums and bass
Awesome album but there are a couple skips in here.
Almost every song is a jam.
Exceeded my expectations but not something I would listen to again.
I don’t care for live albums
This is a really solid album. Sometimes I’m more likely to skip the world music picks but I would advise against it for this one.
Some great songs but slow in other spots
This started off promising but after a couple songs just sounded like the same thing over and over again.
The bass lines are awesome thougj
Nails on a chalkboard.
Never heard of this band or album before but found this to be an enjoyable listen. Very unique for a rock band and combines a bunch of different genres into their sound.
I just can't with his voice.
I am 300 albums into this list and this was my 7th David Bowie album. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I don't need to hear his entire discography before I die.
When you take the time to translate the French you realize this whole album is about a guy trying to bang a 14 year old girl.
This started off really nice but by the end felt pretty grating.
The most 90's album of all time
Why is he mumbling?
The Flaming Lips are a very specific acquired taste that I never acquired. I tried but just wasn't for me.
CCR is from Oakland and thats not anywhere near a bayou
