Pleasant, nice background music.
If jazz is your thing, you'll like it.
Very good production. Need to listen a few more times.
Not my thing, but it was ok.
Great album, vibrant, exciting.
Was looking forward to listening this, but was disappointed. Found it a bit child like.
The message was the best track.
Started off well, but unfortunately constant swearing although this may be thought to be edgy by some. It became boring after a while
Really enjoyed this, first time I've listened to bob marley album. Absolutely amazed, really relaxed.
Really enjoyed this, is a typical early 90's grunge sound.
First half good, second half covers not so good.
Musicly good, just couldn't bear the shouting. I can see why they made an impact but not for me.
It's grunge throughout, what more can I say!
Very different and his influence on other musicians amazed me. Wiki page interesting. May give it another go.
First time listening to this album. Always associated meat loaf with one song, as it was overplayed and I just switched off when I heard his name. But have to say after listening to this album all the way through I am now a meat loaf convert. Top marks from me.
Went into hearing this not as a Bruce Springsteen fan and to be honest was not expecting to enjoy it. But I was surprised, this is probably one of the best albums I have ever listened to. The songs, the sound, the low quality finish all make this unique.
Can't say I will ever be a fan of the big loud Springsteen rock sound but this is truly something special and one album everyone should hear.
Amazing
Sounded good musically. But not for me, screaming got on my nerves.
This was very pleasant. Put my headphones on laid down and chilled out for an hour.
Not his best, 2 good tracks at beginning. Rest mediocre.
Very pleasant, good album to relax to
Couldn't get into it, not my thing.
Real 60's psychedelic sound
Was unsure about listening to this, but have made a commitment to do an album a day. Unfortunately my preformed opinion of this genre was confirmed, it was awful.
Music should inspire you to make changes for the better, but this is full of references to violent crime, drug use and physical harm to others.
And personally I can't stand overuse of swearing as it becomes stale very quickly. And the N word is horrible.
Like the smiths, so enjoyed.
Very good album, country but with a twist
This was brilliant. Best chill out I've had in ages.
Overall a good album, but unfortunately there is something about the Jam I don't like. Maybe it's there sound or paul sellers arrogance.
Really good album, New band to discover.
Really thought there were genres of music I would never like, but since starting this album a day have been surprised at how much I am enjoying reggae.
Better than I expected, but not my thing
Have only listened to love shock prior to hearing this, and yes the whole album sounds exactly the same to that. Couldn't deal with the shrieking and weird vocals.
Not for me.
It's OK, can see why there was the hype. But a bit samey throughout.
Really enjoyed this which surprised me. Only criticism it was a bit too long, take 20 minutes off it and would have been perfect.
Amazing how some one with a very average singing voice can make such a great album.
Truly unique, their sound, Mark Bolans voice and writing make T-Rex totally a stand out band.
Better than I expected, but not my thing.
Concept a bit strange, but not a bad listen.
Bit dreary, fairly forgettable
If your life is this bad, surely you don't want others following you down this path. I really do not get this entire genre of music and why record companies continue to release it.
It was ok, but did not do much for me. Sounded unpolished.
Great live album, atmospheric. Feels like you are there.
Musically really good, no idea what he was going on about. Really enjoyed
Middle of the road, very pleasant
Great album, shows the evolution of the band.
One of the best albums I have heard.
Very samey throughout, not for me.
If this is you're thing I would imagine it's great, but not for me.
Nice easy listening album.
Don't get punk, shouting over reasonable good music is not my thing. Very poor recording.
Great album, really underated at the time.
Best early 90s grunge type album I've heard. Black hole sun and spoon man especially good.
A really great album, just a unique sound mixing different styles and genres perfectly.
A far better album than brothers in arms. But personally I find Dire straights a bit of an English Eagles (not musically) they please nearly everyone in their style.
Always thought jim morrison was a bit of a cock so never really listened to the doors. But WOW this was amazing.
It was ok, noting amazing
Not bad, just very over the top.
Twang twang twang not my thing twang
A live album without background noise and an incredible sound.
Kinks concept album or vanity project, not there best
Never listen to bob marley before, but this is amazing guy was a genius.
Very nice, not my thing but good as background music
Really did not know what to expect, did not sound as if made in 70's more like 80's. Nice album to listen to.
True definition of concept album.
Not a fan of bob Dylan and cannot understand the fascination. But this is a pretty good album.
Absolutely terrible, sounds like primary school music lesson.
Musically really good, but unfortunately it was ruined by liz chair inability to sing.
Wow. Very few albums reach near perfection, this is one of them. Everything about this is great.
Tedium set in by track 4, very samey throughout. Probably sounded great back in the eighties, but really dull now.
How does anyone like this genre is beyond me, just scratchy noise and shouting. And why do I need to listen to it?
Sounded like a kid with a casio keyboard.
First 3 tracks sounded like a badly tuned am radio, did not get much better after that. Pretty terrible
Lovely album, chilled out in the garden with a cold beer
I have no idea why the rolling stones are considered to be so great. Jagger can't sing.
Not my thing, but overall not a bad album.
This is terrible, every track sounded pretty much the same.
Good album, but sounded like it was being played next door. Poor production
Film scores can be a bit weird, as no context. But this is great with a 70s vibe.
Really good sound great album
One of those bands I kept meaning to listen to, have finally done it. It was ok.
Although groundbreaking at the time and a very unique style. Has become dated and fairly repatative.
No opinion, don't like hip hop etc
Sounded like one continuous track throughout, extremely boring and forgettable.
Was going to pass on this, as not a fan of jazz. Glad I didn't this was amazing.
Felt like I was around a mates house and his dad got his guitar out and sang badly.
Incredibly pleasant album, noting negative to say.
This must have been mind blowing in 1978, like the future had arrived.
Great album, groundbreaking unique sound.
Didn't have 3 hours to spare, listened to a few tracks. Sounded good.
It was ok, noting amazing.
Not for me, very forgettable.
Just a really good rock album.
Could have been a great album if they had trimmed songs lenght. Some go on far to long
This Is an incredible album, got tobe one of the best I've heard.
It's punk and sounds the same as all punk, terrible.
Jazz falls into two categories for terrible or brilliant, this is definitely brilliant.
Really good, very early 80s. Although I prefer their other album, A can of beans.
Fairly pleasant, with a couple of stans out tracks. But I do feel that stevie wonder is very overrated.
A really solid album but the thing I find with R.E.M is it all sounds the same
Really solid album, musically great and vocals outstanding.
Don't get it, he can't sing songs to long.
Never listened to this, as all the media hype at the time switched me off. But have finally listened to it and although I do not hate it, I don't think I will ever play it again.
Overrated.
Terrible. Each song need only be 30 seconds long as they constant loop for the rest.
Sounded like a toddler who's drunk to much orange squash, very repetitive and annoying
As good as the album is, I do feel this a must listen as it is basically a 'best of' album.
Really not my thing, but I can see why people would like it.
Never understood why they so popular, I just find it very mediocre.
One of the best live albums
Irish folk music with swearing.
Very dreary early 80's pop
Really good, took me back to the early 80s
Really surprised. Went into this not expecting much as heard his heart wasn't really into this project, but enjoyed it.
Could not get into it, no way as good as Hunky Dory. Average
If you like blur it's a five, i don't.
OK but tracks and album a bit to long
Not my thing, but ok and a lot better than bob Dylan
Concept band makes Concept album. Brilliant.
Typical punk, sounds like a monkey banging the drums incessantly and lots of shouting.
One type of music i have discovered on this journey is funky, I think it's great
Dullest album I've ever heard
Listen to this a few years ago, don't intend to again. Terrible
Culturally not connected to this, so didn't get the message or struggle. Not a fan of performance art, spoken word or rap etc. So a 1
Don't like punk, didn't bother
Sounds the same as all hip hop, very generic.
Perfect album written by a musical genius
It's repetitive like all his stuff.
Was ok but totally forgettable
Great album, a complete change from previous albums and sounds grwat
Do not understand this genre at all.
Truly lovely album, even if this is not your thing can't see how you cannot like it
Great music for the masses. Would have been great if he had done a version without all the weird noises, sort of unplugged version.
They need a new singer, ruined
Very ground breaking for its time and type of music. But I found boring as it progressed and the hype surrounding it and ozzy very undeserved.
A great album, really sums up its genre
Great sound, but a bit samey throughout.
Pretty good, standard nice rodgers
No surprises, exactly what I expected pleasant but not amazing
Personally can't see how this is so highly rated.
Sounds the same as all others albums I heard of the type, terrible.
Really enjoyed this, sounded very 80s with lots of influences mixed in.
It was ok, but found it a bit samey towards the end
Easy one, think peter Gabriel is great
Never bought into the hype, so this was new to me. Production was great, singer became a bit meh as it went on. Have no need to hear it again.
Turn the volume up and enjoy
Very different and I like it.
It was ok, won't listen again
Sounded like a soundtrack, to what I don't know.
Good sound until he opened his mouth.
Definitely different and incredible sound. Really enjoyed it.
Never got going, the same throughout.
Why anyone would want or need to listen to this before they die, is beyond me. Terrible.
Wasn't expecting much from this. But was really surprised at how good it was.
Never understood why everyone rates this, find it very average
Very pleasant and inoffensive
Great album, why isn't this guy known more.
Annoying vocals and the same throughout
First track good, rest of it sounded like piped music in a bowling alley
Funk is a genre I've got into since starting this. So found this to be great.
Would not be a first choice to listen to, but was completely different. Will listen to more of his stuff just out of curiosity.
Not bad, sounds the same throughout
Walk in heard these were playing walked out
Truly great album, something to chill too.
No surprise here, sounded like every other album of its type. Plenty of swearing and n word. Very boring and terrible.
Good album, but sounds like everything else nice Rodgers has been involved in.
It's ok, bit samey throughout
Not into really vanity products. But this was very enjoyable, although not sure will listen to it again.
When I saw the parental advisory label on the front I somehow knew what expect and it didn't fail to deliver. Lots of swearing and use of the dreaded 'n' word which only a certain demographic can use. Sounded exactly like every album of its genre. Would have given it a zero but will have to settle for a one.
It was ok, nothing special
It's ok, but will never listen to it again
Excellent but maybe just a little too long.
You are not michael jackson, lightweight early 2000's pop. Not my thing
Maybe back in the 60's it was good, not now.
Probably great when it came out, sounds very dated now. And overplayed as tv backing music.
Better than I remember, still can't bear the title track.
Really good album, just short of a 5 for me.
Pleasant enough, just don't like his voice.
Terrible, all hip hop sounds the same
Wow, went into this with very low expectations. But this is amazing.
Was ok, but a bit boring toward the end
Just sounds the same as everything else he's done
It was ok, nothing special
What a great album, really enjoyed.
It's ok. But for all the air guitar masters it must be great.
After a couple of tracks became a bit boring
