Was unsure about listening to this, but have made a commitment to do an album a day. Unfortunately my preformed opinion of this genre was confirmed, it was awful. Music should inspire you to make changes for the better, but this is full of references to violent crime, drug use and physical harm to others. And personally I can't stand overuse of swearing as it becomes stale very quickly. And the N word is horrible.

Went into hearing this not as a Bruce Springsteen fan and to be honest was not expecting to enjoy it. But I was surprised, this is probably one of the best albums I have ever listened to. The songs, the sound, the low quality finish all make this unique. Can't say I will ever be a fan of the big loud Springsteen rock sound but this is truly something special and one album everyone should hear. Amazing
