Only got as far as track 3 - need to revisit
This is just noise, and not the good kind
Solid mixture of rock through this
I didn't dislike the album, but I don't think I found anything musically interesting to warrant another listen.
I quite liked the space rock
Recognised a couple of songs Fave song : chocolate cake
Outside of the "big 2", all a bit dreary
(Pain in the arse trying to listen to this without Spotify)
I didn't really feel like this album went anywhere, and nothing to be found here worth revisiting. Familiarity: [2 – Unknown album] Songs I would actively choose to listen to: [1 - None] What can I remember the next day?: [1 - None}
Just a bit bland Familiarity: [3 – Know some songs] Songs I would actively choose to listen to: [1 - None] What can I remember the next day?: [1 - None}

"A lot of noise"
The boss of bossa nova.
I think Run DMC benefit from a collaboration. As influential as it may have been, I am glad hip hop has progressed from this.
This is a great . Trim a few songs and this might have been a 5
I enjoyed this more than I thought I would
Protopunk
Never heard of The Gun Club. Solid punk album.
Not familiar with this album. A few moments but probably too long.
Only thing I knew before listening was Bohemian Like You. This was ok.
A couple of good songs strung together by dreary toss.
I enjoy CCR, but it does all sound a bit samey
Banging start, banging end, dips in the middle but still good stuff
I don't think I've ever listened to a Blur album outside of greatest hits - generally I don't think I was missing too much but credit where it's due there's some fun bits on here. Much more variety of sounds than some of their Britpop peers. Oompah
There is a lot more blues on this than I was expecting. Not a lot of variety though. An excellent background album.
Well this is a bit of nostalgia. You can definitely hear Blur in some of the tracks with just Alburn involved, but add in the collaborations and there's a lot going on. Not sure that I'd be putting any of the non singles on a playlist, but as a whole, very enjoyable.
Completely unknown to me, and not sure what I think of it. The songs on this all have an aspect that i quite like, whether that is a riff, the bass line, the drums; but the other parts of the songs are just a bit pants. I do enjoy that the Wikipedia summary for the album seems to have been written by a ten year old: "It's called that because it's from Ohio".
I heard you like 12 bar blues.
Acoustic versions of some of their slower songs and covers. Just a bit boring.
Björk's singing I can see being a bit divisive, but I quite like the underlying music.
The first song seemed vaguely familiar, but otherwise completely unknown artist. I dig this
Heavy beats to start with, but felt it dipped after that.
I absolutely love this. This is album is a reminder that I should probably listen to more of these albums in stereo and/or through good quality headphones .
Not much of anything - lacking some Young
Rose-tinted glasses perhaps but the opening few tracks are great. Then there is a bit of cliff edge.
Quite the rollercoaster. In isolation you hear BoRhap and think it is all over the place in terms of genres, and then you hear it in this album and it makes more sense. Overall I enjoyed this
Now that's what I call an album cover! I didn't really realise there was more to VM than Brown Eyed Girl, but this album is a cracker.
A consistently solid album. My criticism is exactly that though - if the same song played twice in the album I probably wouldn't notice

Some good funk tunes, but tailed off a bit
I really don't know why this is on the list
Meh. Nothing interesting here
Not my usual cup of tea, but better than i expected. Still wouldn't call it particularly enthralling however
Knowing nothing about them, I was looking forward to this based on the band's info on Spotify: "Gang of Four is one of the most radically important, and influential rock groups of the last 40 years." I am underwhelmed.
A classic. I think this is the first 20+ minute song on the list. Let there be more
I would have never guessed this was from 1973.
I found myself quite bored listening to this
Other than the first song, everything just sort of blended together. Not very interesting, and definitely sounds a bit dated
Nice mix of classic rock
Some relaxing folk with enjoyable vocals compared to some of of the prior albums
Lots of ideas going on here, but a bit of fun overall
A novel listen? Sure. An album I'll come back to? Probably not.
I don't think I've ever actually listened to an Eminem album. There are some enjoyable songs, but its hard to ignore the rampant homophobia and needless violence throughout. I have no idea how much of this is supposed to be taken literally, what is and isn't in character as Marshall Matters, or if this is supposed to be some sort of meta-commentary, but it definitely hampered my enjoyment of the album. When did i become a woke snowflake?
Music for the snart-sniffer and I'm in the game for some gastromatherapy
I think I understood less than half words, and most of those were variations of words that I daren't type. I did enjoy a cocking gun providing the beat on one of the tracks, and recognised a surprising number of other songs, but I can't say that I got much enjoyment from my listen
Classic Britpop. Can definitely feel the influence of other artists, but also adding in their own spin with the classical (/sampled) instruments.
I tried to find some redeeming features, I really did. There were moments where I thought I understood it, the beat of industrial machinery. And then I'd be out of it again. I think I could probably listen to a single track and get along ok with it, but a whole album is hard going. I think the only reason I'd revisit this album is to annoy someone else.

It was ok. Inoffensive.
I enjoyed this so much more than their debut
I'm just a basic Britpop bitch
Needing the full 70 minutes is just showing off
I enjoyed it, but (to my ears) this is quite repetitive (and to be fair, there are actual repeats of songs)
I love the groove of CH, it all seems so smooth
Fam was tidy hot sauce
I explicitly gave permission to my wedding DJ to play something from this album and he didn't. What a melon.
