I like the hits but could leave the rest. I feel the same way for almost all RHCP albums.

Trans Europe Express by Kraftwerk
May 18 2026

I didn’t like the first one I had to listen to. I didn’t like this one either.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
May 19 2026

Album of my childhood. Much better angry white girl music. Enjoyed this way more the pj Harvey.

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
May 20 2026

Classic, I wish RAP had a little more of this these days. Walk this way is such a unusual but awesome crossover.

May 21 2026

This album was a roller coaster. Kurt is not a particularly skilled vocalist, but his raw voice suited perfectly with the bands music. Some of the songs were a bit to whiney, but some were fantastic Polly, Lake of Fire, and All apologies stood out.

Bug by Dinosaur Jr.
May 24 2026

Most of this was fine. Just don’t don’t. Awful song.

2112 by Rush
May 25 2026

Classic Canadian album. I prefer some of there other stuff but if your into the holy trinity it doesn’t get better.

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
May 26 2026

I enjoyed this more then de la soul or cypress hills.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
May 27 2026

This was good and I enjoyed listening but no tracks stood out like sir duke or superstitious on previous albums on this list.

Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
May 28 2026

This was good but nothing stood out. At this point one of the pre requisites to be on the list is be from the UK

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
May 29 2026

it got boring on some songs but it’s so much better the Dylan.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
May 30 2026

Best David Bowie album yet. Man knew how to make an album. Stand out all you pretty things.

Celebrity Skin by Hole
May 31 2026

Well better then the last hole Album I’m still not a fan of country loves voice.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Jun 02 2026

This was a great album. I love the use of the steel guitar on no expectations which is almost always reserved for country albums. Great lyrics.

Justified by Justin Timberlake
Jun 03 2026

Took me back to highschool, outside the singles that are bangers, this is entirely forgettable.

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Jun 04 2026

I don’t mind Elvis Costello but this album sounds like a lot of different stuff from the era.

69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields
Jun 05 2026

This is a funny album but like 2 hours wayyyyy to long.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Jun 06 2026

Never been a ELO fan. Lots of synth and a meh voice

Suede by Suede
Jun 08 2026

Why is this on the list. It was completely forgettable.

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Jun 09 2026

Classic. Title track does not get enough love. Love the intros and the use of strings.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jun 10 2026

Great grunge voice that doesn’t sound as messy as other bands of the era.

No Other by Gene Clark
Jun 12 2026

Nothing stood out as amazing on this album, but it was not bad. It just was... I guess.

Ramones by Ramones
Jun 13 2026

Just sounds like messy noise for the entire album. Like one big long song that someone who just learned how to play yesterday put together. I understand they had a significant impact on the culture at the time but this just was not for me.

Boston by Boston
Jun 14 2026

Great classic rock. Maybe suffers from songs starting to sound the same.

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Jun 15 2026

Mediocre like the last album.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jun 16 2026

Straight back to high school. There is a ton of singles but nothing touches the behemoth seven nation army.

Vento De Maio by Elis Regina
Jun 17 2026

No idea what they were saying but it was nice to listen too.

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jun 18 2026

Good album. Love the rhythms. I’m more familiar with the live versions so not hearing what I was expecting was weird.

I See You by The xx
Jun 19 2026

I have no idea why this is on the list. There is nothing special. It’s not bad. But it’s boring pop music.

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Jun 20 2026

This was boring as fuck.

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
Jun 21 2026

why? Why is this album important? It suffers greatly from quantity over quality, and the ridiculous vibrato on every fucking song is completely overdone. The only thing that this album will be remembered for is the music video for Dirty.

E.V.O.L. by Sonic Youth
Jun 22 2026

Oh look. Another sonic youth album. Bleh.

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Jun 23 2026

One of the most normal Cohen albums. Wasn’t bad. Very relaxing.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Jun 24 2026

I liked this album better then darkness on the edge of town, however i did find it got a little boring.

#1 Record by Big Star
Jun 25 2026

This was not bad but nothing special. Seemed to straddle the line between pop and rock at the time.

Medúlla by Björk
Jun 26 2026

Jesus Christ this was weird. I did not enjoy a single part of it.

Closer by Joy Division
Jun 28 2026

Meh. Another British post punk album.

Jun 29 2026

Thank god I was alone listening to this one. The only thing that stood out was the over use of the N word. There is far better rap albums from that era.

american dream by LCD Soundsystem
Jul 01 2026

If you’re gonna make a bunch of 10 min songs they need to be interesting and good. This was not that. Like over produced worse version of future islands.

Rhythm Nation 1814 by Janet Jackson
Jul 02 2026

This could not sound anymore 80s. Couple songs had me bumping my shoulders but it’s like as soon as the length constraints of vinyl were no longer an issue everyone decided to include a bunch of crap on every album.

90 by 808 State
Jul 03 2026

There is nothing special or different about this album.

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Jul 04 2026

If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis.

Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys
Jul 05 2026

Soothing voice. Good busy highway music.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jul 06 2026

I have really tried to like nick cave but I just don’t. 14 min shitty songs are a sign of Narcissism I swear to god.

Arrival by ABBA
Jul 07 2026

What’s not to love. Sweet hooks, wonderful harmony’s. It’s not chickening why ABBA took the world by storm.

The Visitors by ABBA
Jul 08 2026

It is weird that I got two ABBA albums in a row. I enjoyed Arrival more then the visitors, but still a very easily consumed album.

The Who Sell Out by The Who
Jul 09 2026

I usually like The Who but I did not find myself enjoying this album as much. Seemed to be a collection of songs opposed to a coherent album. No song really stood out to me.

Youth And Young Manhood by Kings of Leon
Jul 10 2026

This was a good more modern rock album. I prefer Only by the Night but enjoyed this album as well. Unique voice without being annoying to listen too.

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Jul 11 2026

Better than expected. Stripped down and basic.

Jul 12 2026

Not a bad crossover album. Not what I was expecting from a byrds album.

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones
Jul 13 2026

Sensational voice. Sexy, smooth, and wonderful. Could listen to her sing me to sleep every night cause her music is boring as fuck.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Jul 14 2026

Very nice easy listening album. Strong focus on the lyric writing ability. I preferred this to Red Headed Stranger.

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jul 15 2026

A album filled with monster hits. Fogerty's voice and songwriting are unmistakable. This was a favourite of my parents, and it still sounds great today.

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Jul 16 2026

I went from CCR to Belle and Sebastian. ooof, this is fine, but absolutely nothing special about it.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jul 17 2026

I have always found blondie to be a bit overrated. I dont love their music.

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Jul 18 2026

A three and a half hour compilation album. I am not sure how this qualifies for a list that very purposely left off compilations. Ella obviously has a legendary voice, but 3 and a half hours? really? put it on at a cocktail party so people feel fancy but this is not an album everyone needs to hear.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Jul 19 2026

There is something unique and nice about Joni Mitchell’s voice. As a late 30s guy it’s not in my wheel house but I enjoyed the stripped down acoustic sound of this album. Although the cover of this flight tonight by Nazareth is better.

Car Wheels On A Gravel Road by Lucinda Williams
Jul 20 2026

This album would be up my alley but it was a miss for me. Lyrics are repetitive on almost every song. Just led me to believe she couldn’t come up with anything else.

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jul 21 2026

Blech I just can’t get into Radiohead.

Zombie by Fela Kuti
Jul 22 2026

This was a fun album to listen to and very different. I wasnt interested in changing the one song.

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Jul 23 2026

Sounded like Crosby Stills and Nash. Great harmony’s. Boring songs.

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Jul 24 2026

I was not optimistic about a French pop album. But I really enjoyed this. I pleasant voice, catchy beats, not over produced. People complaining can go back and listen to the 50th British post punk bullshit that all sounds the same. I will enjoy something different for once.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Jul 25 2026

Ooooo a shot of junior high nostalgia straight to the vein, when everyone in my upper middle class school suddenly was a angst ridden misunderstood youth that could only be deciphered by listening to this album on repeat. I don't mind the album, in the end is certainly a sing along, however it does not hold up over the long term, and I did not enjoy it quite like i did in my youth. Still better then Christina.

Moss Side Story by Barry Adamson
Jul 26 2026

I didn’t like the last Adamson album I didn’t like this one.

Tonight's The Night by Neil Young
Jul 27 2026

Sounds like Neil young. Medicine voice. Well written lyrics. Mid production. Meh.

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Jul 28 2026

In a see of forgettable new wave bands depeche mode sticks out with the cure and some of the few I actually like. Good voice. Exciting songs. Better the lots of other contemporaries.

Trafalgar by Bee Gees
Jul 29 2026

Harmonys were good but overall a boring album.

Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury by The Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy
Jul 30 2026

Mediocre. Everything is the same. The message is fine and still relevant but every song.

Under Construction by Missy Elliott
Jul 31 2026

Sounded like a typical 2000s rap album. She has the ability to rap and sing well. I enjoyed the singles but not much else.

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Aug 01 2026

This album came out the year I was born. But I remember buying it when I was in high school and it was on heavy rotation while I cruised around in my 94 Pontiac sunbird. Ahhh to be young and dumb.

Heroes by David Bowie
Aug 02 2026

One of the weaker David Bowie entries. I prefer the Wallflowers cover of heroes. Sounded unrefined.

Garbage by Garbage
Aug 04 2026

Very dated and not in a good way. Maybe because stupid girl or only happy when it rains are in every 90s movie. The album is bland and all melts together.

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Aug 05 2026

Not a giant black sabbath fan. Kinda boring for all the hype it gets. Changes was a good song.

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Aug 06 2026

Mostly gobble gook with a mix of a bad cover. Not for me.

Microshift by Hookworms
Aug 07 2026

Once again a miss. Nothing special or stand out about it. Some of the songs on the album were not available on Amazon Music. But it was not good enough to seek them out.

Be by Common
Aug 08 2026

Loved Common in Hell on Wheels and John Wick. Should stick to acting.

Autobahn by Kraftwerk
Aug 09 2026

I didn’t like the first one I see no reason for two to be on this list. Sounds like shitty royalty free YouTube music.

White Light by Gene Clark
Aug 10 2026

Not a bad album. Very mellow. Prefer it to the byrds albums.

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Aug 11 2026

Classic. My 4 year old enjoyed it.

Stankonia by OutKast
Aug 12 2026

Blast back to junior high. Ms Jackson is such a banger. Great early 2000s rap.

Rust In Peace by Megadeth
Aug 13 2026

Not a metal fan. At least Metallica has some catchy songs.

Ctrl by SZA
Aug 14 2026

This was a good r and b album. I like seas voice and this was a good easy listen if not to exciting.

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Aug 15 2026

Recognizing that Kanye West is a piece of shit I do think its important to separate the art from the artist, or else this list is going to dwindle very quickly and we will have far less to listen to. I remember when this album came out, and how popular it was and the fan fare that it got, but I just did not get it. It has some catchy songs, and it is likely that I am not educated enough on what makes him an impressive rapper, but I still did not like it that much. And I really do not like the un-necessary skits, and extra long songs that just seem to be him stroking his ego.

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Aug 16 2026

A fantastic album that I own on vinyl. Love the title song, classics like movin out and everything in between. Billy Joel gets criticized sometimes for copying other people, but his writing and musical ability are absolutely underrated. His composition is superb.
