Reviews (page 8 of 8)

Reggae. Solo entry from member of the Wailers. Nothing stands out. Simple songwriting. Mostly easy listening. 1.5/5

JEZUS... wat haat ik reggae zeg! Altijd dat smerige, lamme upstroke-gitaarwerk. Dit soort lui moeten echt op het schavot.

Listened to the first 3 songs and couldn’t finish the album

First song: terrible. I quit there

I do not like reggae, as it turns out

1 star

Boring

It's a shame but reggae just doesn't do it for me, the tracks are too same-y and chill

Til Your Well Runs Dry is a top tune, though not a patch on You Don't Miss Your Water which it's probably based on. Otherwise, tosh.

Some questionable attitudes to women here. Not a fan.

While it's not entirely as horrible as Marley, it's still really horrible. I really just don't understand reggae. It's almost always soooo boring paired with being played sloppy and being really sluggish and it just irritates the crap out of me. I can't wrap my head around how people can be capable of enjoying this. Oh wait, yeah, probably the answer is drugs.

I like plenty of ska from first to third wave. It seems like reggae would be something I should enjoy as well. I went into this hoping that maybe I would find some enjoyable reggae. I did not. What I did find was a headache after tapping my fingers just waiting for it to end. I did not enjoy any aspect of this album at all except that it wasn't especially lengthy.

Like the same song over and over and ov ...... Why am I so hungry?

September 29, 2021 God why is there so much fucking reggae on here?! Just not my thing.

Hogwash

rastaman ganjaman 1/5 = 4/20

Mindnumbing lyrics and repetetiveness. Uninspired. Weed is basically the whole identity of this album. Obnoxious.

Bad bad bad bad bad.

Reggae kinda makes me giggle. Wouldn't listen again but it's kinda fun.

Criminalise this

Reggae not for me

A hateful pandering to fans of Bob Marley and terribly forgettable. I struggled with one listen.

Poorly written, terrible lyrics, offers nothing of interest

Interesting. Not my thing but neat.
