I suppose it suits a certain mood, I have never been in that particular mood yet.

Not for me. Was never that keen on the singles when they charted, and those were the highlights of this album.
Still enjoyed it after many years away from it. Can sit all the way through without intervention which is unusual for me. Only thing is, and I have thought this about other more recent Springsteen records, is the sound seems a tad "rough" to me. Maybe it is meant to be like that, or maybe it is just my hearing letting me down. Still a solid 4/5 anyway.
Possibly the most listened to album I have. Definitely top 20.
Never heard of this, or him, before. Needs more listening to rate but say 3 for the first listen
Not for me, maybe just the wrong time to try listening to it. Might try again some day.
Ok for background. Never realised I knew so many songs from this early album.
Hellish
Ok
Nope
Just not my thing.
Some tunes ok, not keen on the vocals.
Binned half way through 1st song. Not for me at all.
Hellish
Pish
Enough to send you down to the Rickety Stool and Rope shop.
Only last half way...
would be better without the singing.
No you are not.
Can't listen to that.
Not really my bag, but good nonetheless.
Ok, but there is better out there.
Nope
Grim
Surprised how easy this was to listen to for background at work. Normally would throw this kind of thing a 1 and move on but this was different somehow. Might even listen to it again when chilling at home.
Hellish
2 stars for American Pie and Vincent. The rest were guff.
Hellish
Not his worst
Not a huge metal fan but this was not bad.
Liked ELO when I was a nipper in the 70's, not so much now though.
Never heard this until now, thankfully. Love late 60s music, but this is not a good example of it.
Each to their own and all that, but I just cant listen to shite like this.
Meh.....I hope this isn't their best album.
Not his best album but far from his worst. 3 seems about right.
Sounded a bit like one long song that didnt do very much for me. Liked his other albums more.
The fact that I got to the end of it, albeit only as background noise at work, merits a 2 in my rating system. Wouldn't want to listen to it again though.
Pish
Not my thing, but easy enough to have in the background. Might have been a 3 if the songs didn't all sound pretty much the same and Whoopee wasn't there at all.
Hard to Listen Without Prejudice when one can't the fucker.
I wasn't sure what to rate this, but pretty sure I didn't want to listen to it again.
Really cant be arsed with talky songs, but musically this was different enough to merit an extra star.
Not their best
Meh
In this old fart's opinion, Bowie's best material came between 1968 and 1980. Given the circumstances surrounding the release of this one, I really hoped I could like it but it's just not for me.
Nope
Racket rap rubbish
I would quite happily filter this pish out of the rest of my life. Reluctant to give it any stars at all.
Somewhere between 2 and 3. I'd prefer a 10 point rating system.
Rap is definitely more enjoyable when I haven't a scooby doo what they are on about.
I had only heard the charting singles from this when I was a youngster. Listening to it now, I don't feel I missed out on anything. Not their best work.
Not a fan then, not a fan now.
Probably good in it's day. Not now though.
Well the first I listened I scored it a generous two. After the second listen it grew to a 3. There's no way this is getting a 4 from me so I am stopping this nonsense right here.
Really wanted to like the Divine Comedy if for no other reason than National Express, which I never get tired of listening to. But this is just shite.
Better than 2, not quite a 3 but closer.
Barely
If this doesn't send you down to the rope shop, nothing will.
I suppose it suits a certain mood, I have never been in that particular mood yet.
Better than a 2, but not quite a 3. I would prefer an out-of-ten rating system to allow more distinction between songs.
No
1 might be slightly harsh, but also unfair to score this as high as others I have rated 2. The failings of an out-of-five rating system...
Shite
Not really my kind of music but this was surprisingly bearable.
As good a score as I am ever likely to give to a hip hop album. Usually can't listen to it at all, but somehow I made it all the way to the end with this one.
I don't doubt the talent, just not for me. A generous 2 stars for Art of Dying and Out of the Blue.
Awful, had to turn it off before half way.
Pish
The singles brought back some good memories from the past, but the rest were pants I thought.
I don't see why I needed to hear this before I die. Got bored after the second song.
Nah
A solid 4.5. Had heard all the songs many times before, but this time listened through a decent set of headphones. Sounded great.
Better than 2, not quite a 3 but feeling generous today.
Two decent songs at best. The rest is shite, a generous 2.
Jeezo, that would drive you up the fucking wall !
2.5
Even though this is shite, there are far worse that have found their way on to this list. So relatively speaking, I think a 2 is fair. That said, I will never willingly listen to it again.
I don't doubt there is talent on display there, but Freddie hates jazz.
No entiendo
Liked one half of it, struggled with the other.
Just not for me.
Pish. I'll stick to the Velvet Underground.
I wont be playing this. No interest in it, or him.
Nope
I doubt there is enough weed in the land to make this enjoyable for me. But it's not the worst on here by a long way. 1.5.
Not their best.
All a bit meh...

Not unpleasant, just not for me.
This could well grow on me after more listens, but for now...
Sounds okay, but it's a bit grim.
