Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
Wu-Tang ClanNot my usual listening but it wasn't top bad.
Not my usual listening but it wasn't top bad.
Heard this so many times when it came out, I even know what the sound the next song will start with. Dirty Diana has always been my favourite MJ tune.
I don't think I would have liked this when it was released (I was 12) but I really enjoyed it. Good album I will definitely listen to it again.
I won't be aiming to listen to this again. I don't understand the hype for this at all.
This album is 45 years old and I have never listened to it. I like it and that surprised me.
This wasn't as bad as I was expecting but I'm not sure it will be a regular listen. Some good tunes and some very random ones too.
Another band who's hits I know and like, but I have never listened to a whole album. This is good. I will have to start at the beginning with their discography. Even after all these years, they still sound like Radiohead and that's a good thing.
Blues done in an African language? That will never work. It bloody does though. It's really good. I just wish I knew what he was singing about. Don't worry about that little matter, it's a really good album.
Nope. Never liked her and this album has just cemented my belief. Her high pitched voice just grates and when she sings powerfully it almost as if she is shouting. I am sure there are worse albums out there so I will still give it 2*.
What a voice. This is from the days when you needed talent to be a big star. So many great tracks on this album.
Forgot about some of the songs on this album. I have never been the biggest Madonna fan but I think this is some of her best stuff.
Well that's a lot of noise. Not much more I can say about it.
I listened to this when I was at work and was expecting something amazing, especially as Sound and Vision are on this album and I love that song. I was disappointed. It was almost as if he had heard Jean-Michel Jarre and got a bit carried away. It just seemed to be watered down version of that.
I listened to the deluxe version. Not sure what the difference between that and the original but it is brilliant. Blues based and sounds so good. It sounds perfect for a day when you want to sit back and chill and listen to some great tunes.
I didn't know I knew so many of these songs. Good album.
Yeah ok, better than I was expecting. Songs I knew from my youth and have heard on the radio. The ones I didn't know weren't too bad.
What a voice. I knew who she was but never deliberately listened to her. Good album.
Not a bad relaxing album. It would be so easy to just sit back and chill to this.
Not a country fan by any stretch, but I didn't mind this at all.
Who knew I would like Latin Jazz? It really does have a '50's gangster movie' feel about it in places. Some of the tunes could be great for a montage.
A classic album and performance.
Their best was to come. You can hear where they are going and it's a decent album.
Never heard one thing they've done. I love this. I will listen to more now. It's long, a bit over an hour, and only 8 songs but worth listening to.
I have this on CD (that's how old I am). As soon as I saw it come up, I knew it was a 5*. It's very gentle in places, 3kilos for instance, nice ones to dance to as well, with No Good (Start the dance) then Poison, which is a little more raucous and a bit more on what was to come with Fat of the Land. Love this album and I'll listen to it more again now.
Didn't know what to expect from this but I enjoyed it. How have I gone 20 years without hearing it?
It is nothing to do with it being in a language I don't understand, but I didn't like the singing. Unless he is acting in a musical and this is the style then I gey it. If he is just a singer, then, it's a no from me.
Always loved this album. Great to hear it again.
