System Of A Down
System Of A DownThere‘s a sign at my wall that reads: Nu metal 🚫 New metal 🚫 No metal ✅ For this album I‘m going to make an exception because it really is something special - but just this one time ☝️

Mismatch of emphasis and talent imo. I also couldn’t get over the feeling that they butchered my favorite song from the Three Penny Opera
What a masterpiece! Incredibly versatile and deep
Hey-ho I went and I koved it
You think London Calling is the best Clash album. I’m sure it’s this on. We are not the same
I needed to listen to the White Stripes for the better part of my Saturday after listening to this in order to get this HonkyTonk Bullshit out of my system. Why anyone would think you must listen to this album is beyond me. I‘d rather die than listen to it again
One of the very few classic Post-Punk records I never really warmed to. I know it’s good bit it never blew my mind.
I was surprised at how relevant Fear of a Black Planet still is today. The impact of this record on music history can't be measured in stars. I should actually give it 5 stars. For listening pleasure alone, though, I'd give it 3 stars, as the old-school style was often too edgy for me.
THE consensus album of the late last millennium. no matter which scene or music genre you identified with - this album everybody seemed to like. I hadn’t listened to it in more than 25 years and was grateful for the nostalgia. Not sure how good this is objectively but I spun it four times yesterday and enjoyed it more on each return
I just realized I don’t like this album. Radiohead are among my favorite artists but here their sound oscillates between a self-loathing Nirvana clone and 90s balladry interspersed with post-rock elements. I forgot that I only liked Radiohead after they found their unique sound with Kid A
Weakest BB album imo
Since I have a soft spot for Brazilian Bossa Nova I had a good time with this album
I fell asleep while We Hate You was playing in a loop. My neighbor later asked me if everything was ok - so let’s say this album stimulates communication
Clearly, DDDDC > HtH. Why isn’t the former on the list, I wonder?. Still a very enjoyable experience to revisit this classic
Since they stole my fucking Creedence I have to settle for this
The best thing I can say about this album is that it gave me ample opportunity for silly jokes because it’s just bad (even though it’s Thriller). I remember not liking this album when I was a kid and everybody’s dads and their mums where celebrating this. This was long before Michael was red-flagged the world’s most notorious predator, of course
I‘d rather listen to all Throbbing Gristle albums simultaneously for 30 hours than to one more song of this terrible plastic karaoke masquerading as new wave, reggae or whatever
For me, this album is a flawless masterpiece. If I would have to think of an album that best represents the emotion of love it would be this one ❤️ it’s soothing, charming, heartwarming, and stimulating at the same time
Uptempo songs: yay👍 - ballads: nay 👎 I don’t need to listen to this again but I can respect the musicianship that went into writing and performing these songs
One of my all time favorites 😍
Sounds like the kknd of band that was invited to the Saturday night entertainment shows that ran on TV when I was a kid. Neat, tidy and doesn’t hurt anyone - and I hate that in music

Solid album that doesn’t much for me. Pretty meh
If I had been fucked by this album my summary would be something like “It wasn’t bad … just the kind of casual experience that fades from memory almost as soon as it’s over. All that I remember now is that he looked a bit like Robert Redford as Jeremiah Johnson.”
I‘m not saying this lightly: *clears throat good kid, m.A.A.d city sittin’ top of the throne, That Compton storytelling still sends shivers down my bones. While To Pimp a Butterfly is complex, preachin’ deep, Evry other skit feels like homework soon to put me to sleep *mic drop
Lots of talent, obviously, but I didn’t really vibe with the songs
The album goes on quite a lot, Clearly, Each ballad in tears was wrought, With the same mournful tone, One long, droning moan… By track ten, you wish you were not.
Top 10 of my favorite Jazz albums of all times easily
Somewhat delighted and a little confused, I give this album a four-star credit because I think its sweet weirdness will grow on me over time even though it hasn’t clicked yet
„Too many MCs“ - word!
That’s the kind of discovery I signed up for. I had no clue what to expect and I liked this a lot
I can say without a doubt that this is the best country album I listened to in its entirety. 2 ⭐️…. It is almost bearable
One of those albums that should be a fixture on topsters, yet somehow flies under the radar these days
Listen to this album and complete the following sentence: This album is an essential contribution to this list because _______________. ….. See! You can’t!
* beats rhythm on the car roof with hand and drags on stub of joint, smiling all over
I was thinking about giving this one 5 stars for so long that I just went ahead with it only to get on with my life. Probably worthy of it, though
