-1 star for Morrisey.
A classic.
I don’t really think this is an album you must listen to before you die. It doesn’t sound bad and has a few stronger tracks but it’s unmemorable and doesn’t really achieve anything new. I get the idea, it’s great, the themes that are explored are worth talking about, but that’s not enough to make something lasting. It kinda falls flat for me bc it lacks any distinct character and charisma. Don’t remember it having and relevance for the time period it released in either. Maybe it’ll grow on me - I don’t think i’ll never revisit, but for now it’s just for the background to me.
i don’t get why this is here either rly
not a fan of this at all i don’t even know how to describe it. it’s like music that gives u an ick. leave m alone
5 stars bc it’s a) super impressive rly, i wish i could put my thoughts down better and b) previous one was so annoying i needed something enjoyable and this came in clutch.
2.5 but i can’t do that & this deserves to be rounded up rather than down, there’s been worse
not bad, some rly fun guitar in this, but didn’t do anything for me, kinda forgettable
Eerie soundtrack for a movie that doesn’t exist! I wasn’t expecting this actually and really enjoyed it. It’s nothing groundbreaking though, and because of the soundtrack aspect, among the fact that it’s just not anything novel, it ends up being mostly in the background. But sometimes you need background noise and not music that consumes every inch of your consciousness. This would have totally been on in the background while I was studying when I was in uni, maybe I’ll put it in the back while I work sometime because I totally see myself coming back occasionally. I don’t know if this is an album you MUST hear before you die but I’m quite satisfied that I got to discover it.
This was fun at first but unfortunately it soon after lost me and started feeling dragged out and repetitive.
