It's been a while since I've made an actual comment, but this might be the worse album I've listened to in this entire process. If I could give this a 0, I would. I was crawling out of my skin listening to this turgid, boring, endless album. Every song sounds almost the same. The singer somehow seems less interested in singing than I was listening. I knew I didn't like the National before listening, but actually going through one of their "best" albums seals the deal.

I remember hating it even more, so 2 is a step up I guess.

It's funny, I love some stuff by the Smiths, but I've never listened to this entire album before. Not really a fan, it felt a bit meandering.
Great album. Never listened to Television before, but reminded me of Talking Heads in the best way. The title song was particularly great!
Maybe this was amazing in it's time, but listening now it's like a mix of Elton John Piano and David Bowie. The only song that really stuck out was Dreamer, but that might be because it was in a movie?
All-timer. Probably one of my favorite rock albums. Every song is a hit.
Some good songs but none of his hits and a lot of this album feels a little samey. I didn't love it.
I didn't like it, I didn't dislike it. It's too long.
Techno background music. Totally neutral on this one.
It's not bad music, but I don't want to listen to it.
So many great songs on here. Lots I didn't realize Carole King wrote.
Took a couple of listens on this one to really get into it. Pretty great rock album. I won't say every song hit, but overall a great album!
This one was rough. I was open to it at first, but it just got worse and worse until it hit me with Dixie Drug Store, maybe one of the worst songs I've ever heard. I will say that it makes total sense that Michael Stipe loved this album in 1994.
Great songs. I cannot state how much I hate Neil Young's voice and I feel like I'm being gaslit by the rest of the world about him being great.
Kinda boring cover album. Not terrible, but I want his hits!
Some good songs, overall kinda samey.
Great album, love his voice!
Pretty awful. 10-20 minute solos, barely even songs. Maybe they're better on the studio record, but I hated this.
Interesting at times, but not really for me.
Great songs, not my favorite band overall.
I think this one could be a 5/5 after a few more listens. Really interesting.
One of the best albums to listen to as loud as you can!
Album is great, but California Stars is an all-timer.
Great singer and some great songs, but not something I want to listen to regularly.
Terrible. Mostly noise.
I feel like I've heard albums like this before (either Chemistry Is What We Are by Simian, or maybe The Go Team) and I've enjoyed them, but this one didn't do it for me. No stand-out songs from my listening.
Fun album I'd never heard before. Make sure you only listen to the 10 original tracks.
I listen to this about once a month. One of my all-time favorites.
Probably my most-listened album ever. From age 16 to now. One of the best!
If you like this, listen to Tigermilk, which I think is their best album!

Kanye bad. This album good.
There's some good stuff here, but so much of it has aged badly. The skits and diddy makes it harder to enjoy.

The music was interesting, but I had a hard time with the singing
I don't love this style of music, but this is about as good as it's going to get, so 3 stars!
Neil Young can't go above a 3 because of his voice
Honestly, this has been the worst album in this entire process. I'm about 250 albums in. I'm British, so I see what happened, the writer grew up in the UK and listened to this. I think if we're actually being honest, this is true garbage, and should never have made it to the list.
Good album. Their first is better and should have been on this list instead.
