Never heard of them before, great music tho!
1 < x < 1.5, cant understand why its on the list at all
Starts well, falls a little on the middle and ends well again. Great song transitions, overall good album from an artist I never heard about. Favorite Tracks: Dance or Die, Faster, Locked Inside, Tightrope Least Favorite Tracks: Neon Gumb, Wondaland
good jazz
Only knew Knights of Cydonia before from Guitar Hero and maybe Starlight once or twice but I never listened to any other Muse songs. I guess this is their "magnum opus" and if so, Muse is not my thing (but KoCydonia rocks!) The big singles are quite good but the album feels very samey and idk the singer holds notes way too much... listened to it three times and I give it a 2.5, rounding up to 3
very punk, more than 3 less than 4
very 80s
amazing jazz. and to think this was LIVE wtf man
Really didnt get the hate, something between 3.5 and 4, good album 👍
fun jazz
talking heads is very unique, good solid album
absolute banger debut album
boring
Very 2000
good jazz
Classic album that deserves its status
Repetitive
The Smiths were a great band, good album that i never heard before
Very DJish
Damn 2 DJ albums in a row, this one is better than the last one but still not a 4
Not big on Bon Jovi but this album rocks
never heard the full album, some meh weird/experimental tracks but overall high quality. Little wing is such a masterpiece, wow. Im a big chili peppers fan and this was the first time (at least as i remember) hearing the original little miss lover, rhcp one is superior but i guess thats just the tech difference Title track blew me away, great song as well 4/5
Boring
Never heard of them, but they’re good!
Overrated album, but still good
Amazing album, been hearing it for years and never gets old.
Great.
A lot of hits but also a few misses, ahead of its time, 4.25
a few good tracks, nice transitions but overall lacking
Johnny's voice is great, great live performance but a few repetitive meh tracks
bro's singing strongly reminds me of Manoel Gomes aka mr. blue pen... not bad music though
great performance, sometimes the voice sfx threw me off but still a strong 4
amazing jazz
starts good but gets kinda repetitive
huge radiohead fan. I think this is radiohead at their most weird/experimental (yes even more than tkol) still love this album as a whole, even though i just regularly listen to half of it. Kid A morning bell >>
thought and wish I'd like this more than I did... good but not special, not coming back to it
4.5 rounding down starting to think im a sucker for jazz
almost a 3 but a bit too much voodoo for my taste
oh wow, 2h album? ok it has a lot of live and remaster tracks, will listen to the original. its actually very good, lemme get back to the long one.. ill listen to the tracks not included in the original and call it a day... alright lets finish this. amazing album, definitely belongs to this list!
i thought a 2018 album worthy of being on the list would be quite something, its just fine though... felt like giving it a 2 out of spite but nah its not bad, just whatever
very ambient sometimes, decent overall
lmao kendrick sampled the first track, always liked the instrumentation from 'i' so off to a great start aw man what a great album.. maybe bumping it a bit due to my vibe today but its a 5 for me
Overall great pop album, only ever heard “Royals” from her but this was a solid 4, if the site send me another album from her ill look forward to it (but wont listen on my own xD) Highlights: Green Light, Supercut and Perfect Places
not really my thing, the back and forth between them all the time gets tiring
almost made me fall asleep at work
not an impressive debut, also im not too fond of elvis' music in general idk why but yeah his debut album wasn't much
very good but not a 5 to me, like a 4.25
Weird
Amazing.
started amazing and then 'the drugs kicked in' as someone else said lmao out of tune cellos arent cool come on why..? it falls off but still giving it a 4
not a country enjoyer, but so far this is the gold standard for it
music to fall asleep to lyrics might be good though, did not pay attention to it
Overrated but still good
great album, never heard son of a preacher man before somehow. not sure why thats her one hit wonder.. maybe controversy due to the time it released?
Not bad not great, kind of repetitive - 2,5 if I could
Classic.
Good, wasn’t expecting a 10 minute track by the guys who did “i wanna be your dog” (only song i knew from them)
Great punk classic
Masterpiece
Too weird
Never really listened to kanye and dislike the person he is but this album surprised me
Nice classic
Great album, i would give it a 9/10 but it goes to 5, so 4/5 with a heavy heart
not too big on nirvana, great album and probably their best imo
Toy story guy is legit! 👏
Never heard the band, liked the album 👍
Decent electronic
Great album, lots of all-timers but its a little too long and gets a bit repetitive
Great musicians, great music. Havent ever heard this album before, just free bird and simple man, what an album.
Theres probably at least 1001 albums better than this
Good but not much
Very diverse, i guess its good music but not my thing 2/5
Very 80s
Back when coldplay wasnt so popish
Amazing. Only ever heard “take five” but the whole album is gold.
Great music
Almost quit during first two tracks, the party/dancing electronic stuff is so shit and im proud to endure 14 min of it . BUT THEN the party stuff was over and the great music came in. FOR TWO TRACKS ONLY and the rest was meh.
Not great not bad
Too dramatic, started ok but as it went it dropped to a two
Worse than fragile, but still good
Ok
I want your sex is very cringe. If not by it i would give it a 4
Only had heard the big three, but the album is solid. Not amazing but good
The hits are awesome but the rest is meh Also sounds a bit samey
Never heard of them before, great music tho!
A few dramatic singing songs but overall great experience and some great instrumentation
she's better off acting, but the music isnt trash 2.5 rounded down
Absolute masterpiece, IMO their best album
Very angry and powerful, couldnt understand a word tho if there was any
i dont know much of bob dylan, but the little i do know is good, as is this album
Almost a 1
overrated, some good songs tho
feels like a collection of songs, not an album but overall good/great tracks!
does not belong here. not absolute garbage but its bad.
i suppose he liked sex
good music!
maybe it would be a five if it was shorter and more tight... great album but suffers from some not so great tracks. not a big beatles fan but this album lives up to the name
not my thing and very 'weird'
had a little doubt but yeah its a five, great musician!
Classic childhood album, love it but its definitely not a five
not quite a 5 but 4.5+. absolute bangers, this album is on a lot of shirts for a reason
murica
decent electronic
was expecting more, never heard Prince songs before, just the high praise he gets. but its just good 80s music imo too good for a 3 but not a 4, giving it a 3 for the let down
lots of vocal talent but thats it
always thought the mars volta was some kind of emo stuff due to the voice, its not, wow still annoyed by the vocals, otherwise good music
they are a weird band. a few good songs, had 'race for the prize' downloaded before, such a vibe but yeah they're weird, not bad not great, kinda unique, wish there was less meh tracks, giving it a 3.
very very long but good music
like a 5,75 out of 10 surprising to see the 'happy' guy on this
ahead of its time
ahead its time, 3.5 rounded to 4
some of the tracks remind me of old school games ost, probably biased 4 they are definitely better than a one hit wonder
never heard a song from him before, only hear his name sometimes. good stuff mostly, looking forward to 'blonde'
masterpiece, maybe slightly overrated but still a masterpiece.
maybe a 3 but giving it a 4 out of respect
glad to see thom yorke, good album but not coming back to it
a few good tracks but overall kinda boring. 2.5 rounded down
no thom yorke and wouldnt come back to it
great album, higher than 4 lower than 5
not quite a five due to a few meh/bad tracks such as I Want To Tell You and Love You To
almost a 5 but a few not so good tracks
this came out of left field, the album from the 'el paso' song from breaking bad is awesome! maybe a bit repetitive but great! 4.5/5 rounding up
not big on electronic but this is decent
it starts one way and ends another, it was very diverse which surprised me, but wouldnt come back to it.
this guy is good, sad that i never heard of him before
interesting album, a pity its in french
good album, saved it. +ive heard a few songs before but never knew the name
singer-songwriter done right. nice cleanser after lucinda williams' album
starts good but falls down
very bland and generic, i also didnt like her voice sorry.. barely a 2
was expecting more
in a radioHEAD so yeah masterpiece. could do without treefingers and untitled tho
never understood why these guys are so liked and popular, maybe because they popified rock music? anyway boring, one track that wasnt a single was not boring to me but thats it
impressive, diverse and good album, definitely underrated on this project
I used to kinda dislike her due to only knowing 'Rehab', drug addiction and stuff but wow this album really changed my mind. Gone too soon RIP. High 4
1 decent track and its the first one, feels bad listening to this for an hour
Great music, started as as 5 but the second half is not as good as the first one.
normally id love this but his little screams threw me off
the big single is so bad man wtf how is it that big? besides that a few good tracks, lyrics are mostly bad too but 3 stars for the style and flow
more than 3 less than 4
definitely worthy of how much people talk about him, my first Neil Young album/listen ever
a generous 2, idk how the average is so high and why this is in the list
apparently he's hated due to being 70s taylor swift or something? maybe theres a lot of covers on the album? as someone who doesnt know much of the context here, i liked the album and was impressed by some of the songs, did not get why fire and rain was so much more popular than the other songs, imo there's better ones, maybe the lyrics? anyway, good album!
even though im from Brazil i had never heard a lot of this. good album, deserves its international spread
was afraid of listening to this expecting to hear french (i dislike how french sounds, sorry french people) and wow he's from Senegal, but wait it was colonized by France so... will he sing in french? he did not, yay! i have no idea what he was singing about, but the music is certainly great. its sad how it has a ton of streams less than generic american/british stuff, its A LOT better than most of the music i heard here but since its not in english it tends to get overlooked, but OH MY what an album, great melodies, groove and overall vibe not quite a 5 though, sorry mr Youssou, but big kudos to you!
very talented group
first full album listen, only ever listened to this FFFire (not the album version, which is inferior sadly) and take me out due to cyberpunk anime and guitar hero great album, their sound is distinct in a nice way
dadaism in music form
had 'do you realize' saved before listening to this, was expecting a 4 but it let me down a little bit...
struggled between 3 or 4, went with 4 even though theres not a standout track, just overall good
oh look the guy from temptation greets you like your naughty friend, dont really like his rapping bit in a rock song.. but lets give it a shot in another context yeah not really my thing, but giving it a 3 for appreciation for its artistry and innovation
rock/indie my ass this is electronic lmao anyway, i generally dislike electronic music with rare exceptions, this wasnt one of them but also wasnt insufferable
very cheesy sometimes, but the good tracks are GOOD 3.5 rounding up
a 3 with a heavy heart, some good tracks but album as a whole isnt much
amazing
3.5 rounded up
good album! it saddens me that its average is so below oasis' album, its gap definitely isnt that big. 3.5 rounded up as well
not bad but not worthy of this list
i understand this was very influential but early blues is boring... 2.5 rounded up for respect
gets a bit repetitive but its good
was about to give it a 2 then a damn medieval solo IN A POP ALBUM appeared, bumping it to a 3 not really my thing but, but the second half (except the first track obviously) was better and i must give it to her for the artistry. read a review mentioning this influencing bjork, and man idk how this kind of music is so popular, but to each his own!
wow was definitely not expecting this from the 'you really got me' guys. it started strong with Victoria and then fell a bit, but at Brainwashed I was so into it and the rest was a great ride! surprised by the quality of this album vs the number of streams on spotify (yea its from 69 but come on, its better than Revolver IMO, though I think I was a bit of a hater giving it a 4) amazing and underrated album.
very nirvana-esque and it makes sense since it was released the next year after cobain's death, i guess mr grohl didnt quite found his footing yet with foo fighters found someone using this template, found it fun Production: 13/20 -kinda raw but thats probably intentional Songwriting: 14/20 Innovation: 8/20 Bangers: 9/20 Emotional response: 10/20 -not big on nirvana and this is almost a lesser nirvana =54/100 -> 3/5
Production: 16/20 Songwriting: 16/20 Innovation: 14/20 Bangers: 17/20 Emotional response: 16/20 =79/100 -> 4/5
id love to give it a five but it would be out of respect... great album nonetheless
another album by kate bush, another nice medievalish track lol well this one doesnt have running up that hill.. 2 for me and i seriously dont get all the praise she gets.. for sure she's kinda unique and does her own thing but its definitely not any masterpiece
wow she looks a lot like dominique dipierro from mr robot, did she time travel?
bland, even breaking the law
well there sure are better REM albums (i havent hear a full one), this one isnt bad but also isnt much.
🤘
weirdness on a few tracks aside, amazing album!
thank you for higher ground, which made my chili peppers gain a lot of popularity mr stevie! but this is already his FOURTH album on this list, he's not that amazing of a musician. definitely a good one but overrated imo. probably a 3 but bumping it down out of protest. also i kind of went with the consensus on all the other ratings, i feel dirty for it. my complaints about his singing remain true throughout the whole discography, its so over the top..
saw shoegaze and was expecting some smashing pumpkins-like stuff but its very popish and even though the lyrics are sad most melodies are happy, i guess its just the 80s effect... anyway not a bad album, but not impressive either
bowie just like many artists apparently went through a weird experimental phase, first tracks are good but the last ones are not so good
only heard 'i saw the light' by him on ozark the tv show, great song and scene btw his voice is great, found the second half better than the first one, last track is very good, but the first few songs were a bit too weird for me.
not as bad as people said, but not impressive either
very good
high 3
early rap isnt realy my thing but giving it a cup of tea due to its importance. good album!
one is such a great song, love it for 15 years and counting... definitely their weakest from the ones i've got so far, but still good. someone said they're good at hyping crowds and not too good to listen to alone and i kinda agree, not the kind of stuff i would listen randomly on my own (except for a few outliers) but yeah great music!
wow avg 3.02 this hurts me never heard of this guy before the list but this album is very good, how can people dislike him? yeah some not much tracks but overall very good and a few awesome tracks bonus points for randomly using 'la bamba' melody
meh, there's probably better blur albums based on the tracks i've heard from them
2.5 < x < 3
not a fan of his voice, tho sometimes it fits with the song, but great music!
absolute masterpiece
have heard it before, wish i liked it a bit more but its a 4 to me favorite tracks: marquee moon, guiding light, torn curtain
knew his name but 0 songs, some good stuff but overall mid
old sChOOL rock with flute, which is not terrible as some reviewers pointed
might be overrating a bit but come on this is a rap-rock-sometimes jazzy record, and its never uninteresting their debut i complained about the back and forth but here its done A LOT less, they even did instrumental tracks wow what an evolution, great to see artists finding themselves congrats!
2.5 rounded up, saved fistful of love
Korny edgy stuff some nice instrumentals tho
had already known the killing moon, the rest is not up to its level sadly
wow!
1 < x < 1.5, cant understand why its on the list at all
mr davis kinda disappointed me on this one, still good though
its funny that the intro is the most famous song, already heard that track before and also crystalised, good album!
wow a lot of hate for this one, not bad not good, just average imo
i overrated amnesiac here, should have given it a 4. with that said, this one is absolutely a 5, imo the best radiohead album, maybe drawing with okc. favorite tracks: nude, jigsaw, 15 step
3.5 rounding up
literally industrial, and i dislike rammstein
i usually dislike electronic music but this is good! 3.5 < x < 4
not remarkable, but good stuff
i was expecting a global rating slightly lower, not bad not remarkable imo
3<x<3.5
underrated by starbucks haters good album! jazz/pop fusion isnt something very common to me but i liked it as a pop un-enjoyer
low 5
>3 <4
