Blonde On Blonde
Bob DylanHe kept the same sounds throughout and it had Woodstock vibes
He kept the same sounds throughout and it had Woodstock vibes
Makes no sense so bad that I simply could no finish it at all. It troubled me at a concerning level. It felt like a man was trying to force an album in a bad way. It was a collage of music that didn’t flow.
Pretty solid could definitely hear where some bands took from them.
Classic Chili’s sounds and words
I understand both sides of the love it and hate it. I think it’s a fringe 3 or 4 star. It’s one that has airport type vibes. I don’t think the classification of it being electronic is fully true however I do here some influence on certain electronic/EDM artists like ILLENIUM, Kygo, and Blasterjaxx (those 3 are way more electronic). It’s also a LoFi type music to it (It’s not music I would listen to while studying). Another possible artists who he could have influenced maybe is JVKE (shoutout to Gen Z, he’s an okay artist great piano). The only complaint is the repetition of words like the lyrics were good but it was just repeat, repeat, repeat for a couple songs. Would I listen to him again on my own without someone offering me anything? Yes, yes I would because he has a calm yet tech-no style. All in all a rather interesting listen.
One word: weird. Two words: really weird. Three words: Makes no sense. Four words: Explain this to me. It was just weird some were calm than some were loud and yelling
4.5-Pretty good. No other words needed
Nothing to like and nothing not to like. Airport music.
His voice might not be the best, but they have great guitar play, lyrics, and they are too iconic to give a bad rating.
Definitely 70s and not good at all
Repetition. She just needs to be more diverse in styles
He’s simply too good. All of his songs are good in lyrics and sound.
For Gen Z and Gen Alpha, you would think they should like this because all the songs are short. Even if the lyrics are sad it is still a very impressive and classic album
It sounds like giving a baby a microphone while having a tantrum. I like long songs but these were not good because it was the whole album
It’s so loud that you can’t even hear the words. For people who like to stereotype, this is your classic thrash metal band.
It was decent. I don’t what else to say
The Eagles know how to make a long song not sound boring or drab. Such a great listen overall.
They were right in the first song about there being controversy in the rap world around lyrics. Some of their lyrics arguably has to lead to where the rap world is today regarding cussing and using slurs. Also 911 is a joke has aged poorly.
It sounds like good background music especially at a restaurant. The only complaint is that he could have broken up each of the songs into another. I say that because they all changed style at some point.
If I knew what they were saying in English, then it would be better. They also only use the title as the only words in the song. It gets to a point where it’s just the same thing.
I can see why the band broke up not long after.
It was decent. The lady’s voice is pretty good, so she probably carried them in the album.
All of his songs are very good top to bottom, so it’s close to a 5.
It was alright there was a bit of repetition, and if you have to drive back home quickly to go to the bathroom then you will have a better view on it.
Would have been a 4 if it wasn’t for the creepy and disturbing last song. I understand the last song relation to the movie but keep it out of there. But this was all out of context because I have not seen the movie.
Classic punk and definitely influenced Blink-182
I did not know what to expect but she has a great voice and the style was very unified.
It was going to be a 4 until the last song. I had a more positive view of it because I played it without looking at how long the album was how many songs there were. The last song took forever to get to his point.
I was thoroughly impressed. They varied in styles, and they nailed the folk aspect.
I’m surprised that it was even allowed to get published but it was the 70s. Es profundamente perturbador.
They kept you on your toes for every song which is good.
I thought it was solid and contrasted each song well
I was shocked because I didn’t think it was going to be that good!!!
Was not expecting them to be this good, but the sounds were spot on and sounded great
A classic 80’s album
I didn’t realize they had all of these hits of one album and I was proud that they had a song about Adidas because I an a proud Adidas shoe owner
I never thought I would like disco
One of the best first album a band has ever done.
I am not a fan of modern art. I would compare them to Salvador Dali. They both tell interesting stories, and I think I was more a fan of the sounds than some of the lyrics.
I just don’t know.
Surprisingly good.
Very calm and it’s 80’s background music for a club or a bar
If it was shorter and cut down, it would be better
She’s a great voice end of story
I could hear some Weezer in them but like current Weezer. I really liked the creepy changing tempos
I could hear the Catholic in her but sheesh she didn’t need to say all oddness that she did.
I didn’t care for him talking about Vampires that just seemed weird but other than that it flowed well lyrically and stylistically
I did not fully know what to expect because he’s Elvis. His album was good he was to the point in his songs and wasn’t dragging it out for like 10 minutes for no reason whatsoever.
It would have been higher, but two songs could have been cut in half. The first halves of both were instrumental which is fine, but the second it ended the whole song changed into another song. It was 2 songs in 1 but it didn’t work
I understand the complaints about it being about war and peace but it sounded good. The complaint I have is about Goodbye and Hello because it should have been 4 different songs.
I like the explanation of the songs, but 2 songs combined should not be close to 30 minutes. I don’t want to hear a story in half an hour. I would want it to be in <7 minutes
I didn’t like the Dashboard by whatever. I see why people dislike and like him. I honestly don’t care. I will sit on top of the fence and not move.
I really like how one song flowed to another. It was a interesting fusion of several genres as well.
The piano saved it from being a 1 star
I don’t know what to say, so I will say I liked the instrumentals
A classic 80’s album
He was a troubled young man
I am not sure what to take away
It the 80’s so classic. Anyone who doesn’t give it a decent score is disrespecting the decade.
He can tell a story but is it good that’s up to you
Morrissey has the elagance as almost a hockey player skating on ice. He makes sad songs not seem that sad
Some of the songs are too much but others like the first song allow the listener to clear their mind from the madness made out of sadness
Would be a 3.5 but the interviews. I like being able to listen to an interview about the album, but these were interwoven in an interesting manner. I think the music being mixed with it was smart, but it also seemed to take away from the overall thoughts. The instrumentals were good
If you are a big boy band fan, this is for you
Words:Cohen=concept:air
While I only knew a couple words, it was upbeat and happy. You wanted to go to a beach and sing (especially Jimmy Buffet)
I see why she acts and sings. She kept the album flowing together throughout making it simpler and easier to comprehend
I mean he’s alright. He just is weird especially by having songs titled about other artists. He should have listed them in the lyrics or something else. That is very minor though. I don’t know what else to say besides repeating he’s weird
Only because of star man. It is a bit overplayed/hyped up too much. I get that it is an alter ego but it is still weird
Was there a lot of repetition? Yes. Did it change each song? Kind of. Was her voice good? Yes. Was it good? Yes and no that’s why it’s a three. It is neither good or bad
I knew fast car and she has a great voice along with some interesting lyrics
No words needed
10. 10. It’s take 10. 10 10 It’s take 10. 10 10 10 It’s take 10.
I don’t understand why he is on this list. He is not that good or deserving of it.
Did it blow me away? No, but I enjoyed it because it was calm and soothing background music
I understand the talking parts but I don’t fully grasp how they fit in maybe I just was not paying that close of attention to it
I for one am not from Compton. I do see its impact on today’s rap/hip-hop
Many styles that produced greats songs throughout the album. Enough said
Inaudible but still have fun/interesting sounds. That’s all I need and you need to know about this album
She was just whiny and whiny in her voice and then the same with her songs towards the end
I lost attention and couldn’t tell you anything because of how boring it was
Might as well add a sad version of Fly me to the moon since it’s so sad
