This album is incredible. It is very easy to listen too and has many interesting songs. It seems like a pre-cursor to many of the female singer-songwriter albums I really like (Sharon Van Etten, Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, etc.). Listened twice and will definitely listen again.

Everytime Coldplay comes up I try to clear my mind and give them the benefit of the doubt. This is a perfectly listenable album. The first song actually starts quite nicely. I understand that Yellow was a huge hit. I get how people can like Coldplay. I just dont like Chris Martin's voice. When I hear him sing I want to punch him in the throat so that I don't have to listen to him sing anymore. For me this is a 2.5. I will round it up because it is probably not as bad as it sounds to me.

Really great album. Interesting and easy to listen to beats. Clever and interesting lyrics. This is not my usual genre but It left me wanting to listen more. I was dancing along. Top notch. 5.

When I clicked on this I read "Velvet Underground" in my head rather than "Flaming Lips". As a result I was quite surprised at the sound. Once I came to and got over that, I enjoyed this a fair amount. Melodic and poppy with a couple standout tracks ("Waitin' for A Superman" is one). A worthy listen and enjoying more the second time. 3.5 but let’s go 4 side.
