Definitely liked the vibes this album brought. Don’t think it was for me though, didn’t end up adding either to the playlist but for 38 minutes it was a good time.

Back to back days getting straight jazz albums and while I won’t rate this high at all, it won’t be as bad as I rate it. I just don’t think this type of music is for me. Fwiw, I enjoyed listening to it but imo, there is zero replayability for me personally here.

Honestly, it’s a really good live show, the vibes are immaculate but I personally rate these albums based off of if I’d come back and listen again, some songs have made their way into my playlists and listening rotations and unfortunately none of these were really my vibe. Can’t complain, album was actually pretty good. Good vibes. Ended up liking quite a few and can see myself coming back.

I got another Paul Simon album about 2 weeks ago and I really loved the sound, the vibe, his voice is great, but I didn’t personally like most songs. I was glad to get him again and my eyes have been opened here, this album is great. The first 6 songs are just great & hoping for more of him down the line.

let me preface this by saying I love this album & have for a long time but, I think the clear negative or “con” when listening to this album is how much the songs overrun themselves, there’s a lot of songs that don’t have great hooks, continue on for quite some time and it just feels unnecessary and forced. Now there’s so many positives, the amount of great lyrics Lauryn Hill was able to piece together was incredible & some of these songs are classics, I truly love this album & have since I was younger & still find myself coming back to it multiple times a year. We really got robbed of a full discography of hers.

i recently watched this movie “High Fidelity” about a record shop owner, not the point but, these teens in the movie stuffed Brian Eno records up their shirts and ran away with them and at that time and to this day, I just always wonder: who the fuck is stealing a Brian Eno record. not surprising in the least. It was terrible. Got a little sad knowing I went from Lauryn Hill & Bruce Springsteen to Brian Eno but for every good, there’s 5 bad on this site. Good luck to whoever gets this next

The good of this album, I really liked it. When it was good it was great for me. There was a lot of mid to bad songs but that’s just my opinion and I don’t think they were unlistenable bad, just not my type bad. Regardless, I went in not knowing any songs or have listened to any previous album of theirs & came out pretty impressed. High 2, could’ve been a 3 but 2 is fair here.

One of the most hit or miss albums I’ve listened to in a while. I liked a lot of songs but also disliked a lot so I feel like a 3 is fair here. Felt like every time I liked one, I disliked the next one or two. But overall had a good time with it. Never heard of these guys beforehand.

Pair that with it being a live album from someone I’ve never heard of or listened to, I had zero expectations for this. Well, that was great because this fuckin rocks. Absolutely beautiful album.
