Definitely liked the vibes this album brought. Don’t think it was for me though, didn’t end up adding either to the playlist but for 38 minutes it was a good time.
Back to back days getting straight jazz albums and while I won’t rate this high at all, it won’t be as bad as I rate it. I just don’t think this type of music is for me. Fwiw, I enjoyed listening to it but imo, there is zero replayability for me personally here.

Honestly, it’s a really good live show, the vibes are immaculate but I personally rate these albums based off of if I’d come back and listen again, some songs have made their way into my playlists and listening rotations and unfortunately none of these were really my vibe. It feels weird to rate this anything low because it’s good for social standard but not my personal cup of tea.

I got another Paul Simon album about 2 weeks ago and I really loved the sound, the vibe, his voice is great, but I didn’t personally like most songs. I was glad to get him again and my eyes have been opened here, this album is great. The first 6 songs are just great & hoping for more of him down the line.

let me preface this by saying I love this album & have for a long time but, I think the clear negative or “con” when listening to this album is how much the songs overrun themselves, there’s a lot of songs that don’t have great hooks, continue on for quite some time and it just feels unnecessary and forced. Now there’s so many positives, the amount of great lyrics Lauryn Hill was able to piece together was incredible & some of these songs are classics, I truly love this album & have since I was younger & still find myself coming back to it multiple times a year. We really got robbed of a full discography of hers.

The good of this album, I really liked it. When it was good it was great for me. There was a lot of mid to bad songs but that’s just my opinion and I don’t think they were unlistenable bad, just not my type bad. Regardless, I went in not knowing any songs or have listened to any previous album of theirs & came out pretty impressed. High 2, could’ve been a 3 but 2 is fair here.

Pair that with it being a live album from someone I’ve never heard of or listened to, I had zero expectations for this. Well, that was great because this fuckin rocks. Absolutely beautiful album. Well. It’s interesting. U can say that. Can’t say I enjoyed it too much but definitely didn’t hate it. I like to think I have an established rating system so while I won’t ever come back to a single song on this album, it’s not the worst.
Shit, this was fucking good. No clue who Ash was before this but might have to listen to more now. Lot to digest, all good.

But I’m stuck in one of those really awful streaks right now where I feel like for at least 30 days I haven’t had a truly great album. Dunno. Please start coming through, it’s starting to feel like a pain to listen to these albums when they’re supposed to be recognized as some of the best ever,
Had good hope for this one, I love alternative. But just another album that didn’t do it for me, not awful, so didn’t mean to take my misery out on this album, but I seriously hope tomorrow is a good album.

Surprisingly very good, for a while I figured it could’ve been a 5 star but some songs felt they were just bloating the album, first listen of ryan adams. Lot to digest but all good
