No es mi estilo de musica
To me this sounds like music for people who like to put an album on and walk away. I never gave Super Furry Animals a chance back in the day. I had more extreme indie, metal and post-rock vibes on my mind. Listening now, I'm glad I took a pass based on some superficial objection or complaint back then — sometimes you're wrong and get to be surprised, and sometimes you just know when you're not going to gel.

I’ve heard worse but they sounded like a bit sophomoric.
All over the place. Some songs would start good but I felt like the pace would change constantly and I couldn't really keep a good flow.
It was just okay. I never need to hear any of these songs again in my life, and I probably won't because who is Super Furry Animals anyway? Certainly not a band that belongs on a list of albums I need to hear before I die. To think of all the deserving albums that weren't included just so this one could have a spot!

It's a bit too "punky" for my taste and I found it a bit difficult to get through. Especially the song "Bad Behavior". That grated my nerves.

Honestly, I think that this album suffers from a bad mix and overly busy instrumentation. It's almost suffocating and as a result, it's just not really enjoyable to listen to it. I love noisy and balls against the wall music but this album was particularly grating and nothing really stuck with me. There are obviously plenty of influences here but I just don't see how this is an album that you have to listen before your demise. I didn't like it.

Oh good, more British music no one cares about now and didn't care about then.
Just sounds like a bunch of noise. Can barely hear the words over the too loud music. And like half the songs end in them just giving their instruments to a bunch of monkeys to wail on incessantly. Best Song: Something 4 the Weekend

Meh. No need to hear this one again.
Meh. Lame. Something 4 the Weekend has potential but just seems too limited. The rest... not sure what it's doing in the 1001... Just uninteresting. It doesn't have the melody or swagger of Blue and it doesn't bite like, say, Oasis. Poor man's indie rock. Bad Behaviour is about the best of an average bunch.

The more I hear from these guys the less impressed I am. I gave the last one a 2 I'm giving this one a 2- which is being generous. You know what, no, terrible indulgent cover art pushed me over the edge.
This sucks. Gathering Moss is so slow i feel like I am growing moss sitting here listening to this bs.

Dumb name, dumb sound
I disliked this one from the start and just couldn't get through the entire album before turning it off. The mix sounded awful, and it's a huge pet peeve of mine when the music is so much louder that the singer the entire time. What's the point of even writing lyrics if they are unintelligible.
Really bland, really really bland.

This was a strange album, I got tired of it quickly
This was a pretty standard late 90's British rock album. Kind of poppy, kind of manic, hardly intelligible, but fun and not too long. Reminded me of Harvey Danger or REM in its way, this was also kind of dreamy. I did listen twice just because I needed some music to have one while working, and this was a fine diversion. It didn't really have too many memorable songs, but again, nice to listen to once or twice. Favorite track: Gathering Moss
The mix sounds horrible.
I don't think I'll often say this, but I didn't finish this one. There were elements, small elements that I liked, but overall the annoying parts really outsized the minor parts I liked.

Show me the magic - fine, catchy enough Fuzzy bird- don't know what is going on there Something 4 the weekend- obligatory drug song, but its pretty fun song👍 Frisbee - this is background music to me Hometown unicorn- chorus is pretty lazy If you don't want me to destroy you - sounds like a reject blur song Bad behaviour. - Outro is really cool so I'm gonna give the repetitiveness a pass👍 Mario man- don't know what's going on but I dig it👍 Hangin' with Howards Marks - vocals are so drowned out but doesn't really matter with nonsensical lyrics anyway Long gone - some interesting instrumentation but not good enough vocals to carry repeated lyric. Some weird laughing at end For now and ever-??? Yeah most of the songs I was ambivalent to or didn't like 1/5
