Ok, so I knew about this album because it's one of my brothers favorite albums. I like Metallica but I just never gave it a listen. It's not bad, it was enjoyable. I probably wouldn't ever listen to it again though.

Ok look....it's an interesting listen...once. As much as I hate electronic, edm, drum n bass....whatever the fuck it is....Jam bands (I know it's afrobeat) are a close second. What is the point. I don't have the time or fortitude to listen to these long ass songs. I'm giving a 3 because I can see how this was influential but for the love of unicorns don't make me listen to this again.

It carries on and I just keep thinking g why do all these songs sound like an extension of that son..then lo and behold! That fucking song comes on. I'm sorry, I don't get the raves about this album. Its not bad but it's also not great. A solid 3.

Oh, I am not looking forward to this. I ha e never enjoyed this band. I usually can't get past one or two songs. We will see how I fare with an entire album. About half way through, not nearly as bad as I anticipated but I can't say I enjoy it.

Oh boy, I know this album well and while I'm not a fan of Meatloaf, I do love the occasional song. A whole album is tough to listen to though.

It all kinda sounds the same but it was still enjoyable. Great for sleeping or background music.

Interesting listen

Listened to this without knowing anything about it. Didn't even look at the year. It felt like it was 50s or 60s. Surprised it was 2005. I liked it a lot. Soothing, comfortable.

In high my best friend was a huge fan of The Cure (in the 80s). I could never get into them. Over the years I've tried but still just never caught me. Fast forward to 2022 and my 27 year old son has become a fan. Fuck me, I still don't get it.

This was a brutal listen as in boring. I don't get it but me and hip hop have a love/hate relationship.

I'm not too fond of punk. I have a couple bands that I really enjoy but in general it tends to really grate on my nerves. This isn't too bad, I wouldn't listen to it again but I can see how it's popular.

How does this have so many 5 stars? I don't find this groundbreaking or even really interesting. If you like the same repetitive beat, repetitive lyrics through an entire song then this is for you.

I received this album at 14 through Columbia house subscription way back in the day. I didn't choose it, they sent it as the record of the month. I think I listened to it once. I didn't "get it" and to be honestly I've never listened to it again. I've never really been a Springsteen fan. This should be interesting This didn't make me a fan and I'm still not sure if I get it.

This was interesting listen for me as I've never delved into Mr.Cooper. of course I've heard all the hits and even like a few songs but his image put me off. It was a lot better and more interesting than I gave him credit for. Has he earned a new fan, no but certainly a new appreciation.
