I’m not smart enough to distinguish between this and elevator music

Inspired, very easy to listen to and get lost in, best version of maggot brain I’ve heard

Full of all the “hits” that people will recognise but then ask you to skip after 30 seconds, repetitive soulless junk.

Didn’t really differentiate between songs

Somewhere between Elliott smith and echo and the bunnymen, it’s not bad but didn’t really grab my attention

Enjoyed it, but a lot of it didn’t grab me

Might as well just be one big song about whatever the fuck a honky tonk is

Some interesting stuff in here, felt fresh but much preferred the songs with he female vocalist, felt a bit samey towards the end

This album is too long for me to listen to but some of it I did listen to was ok

I don’t know why they chose this album, it’s nowhere near as good as her earlier stuff

Early Coldplay is very good, this album fades a little in the second half though, not quite as good as rush of blood

It’s ok, found myself singing along to quite a bit of it but I don’t remember any of it the next day

Top ten of all time, probably top 5.

Musically very varied and it really shows how they have been influential, but as an album itself I feel some of the songs seem unfinished, rushed

Big fan of yeah yeah yeahs, so original and a great sound. This isn’t anywhere near as good as mosquito but still some great tunes on here and an easy listen

Genuinely don’t know why this is ok here, managed to finish two songs and called it there, and it felt like an achievement to get through them. Shite music, shite genre

Loved it, this album probably best encapsulates their sound

I do like their songwriting but it always feels like there’s a little something missing, a little squeeze of lime to cut through the fat

Possibly my 2/3 favourite album from them, really starting to develop into more of a melodic sound leaving behind their funk, blends the two perfectly

Listened to this before, starts off really strong but midway through becomes a weird Bjork tribute album and kind of loses its way

Growing up my dad used to listen to prog rock all the time. I was never a fan of being forced to listen to genesis in the car as a youth but looking back now, and listening to this, I realise that if I grew up being forced to listen K.D. lang I probably would have turned to hard drugs.

17 minutes isn’t an album

Dad used to play blueberry hill in the car all the time, a classic. Again though 17 minutes is not an album

Good old brucey, you know what you’re gonna get, and what you’re gonna get is mediocre with the odd banger thrown in

You give me two 17 minute albums in a row and when I complain about it you give me a 3 hour 15 minute monstrosity, I see you 1001albumsgenerator. Very very good voice but it’s not really doing anything for me

It’s very easy to listen to and I do like a few of the songs, it does seem to lack a bit of edge though. I think it’s the vocals I’m not that into, some songs feel like karaoke
