Faith
George MichaelPretty decent, reminds me of Michael Jackson or Prince. Most songs feel very similar and lacking of meaning besides sex. Faith was great and so was father figure

Flow and lyrics were great, enjoyed the samples for the choruses but not really original work here, beat and cadence got pretty generic and repetitive after a while
A great album with some great songs. Lauryn Hill showed off her vocal range as well as her creativity rapping, strong lyrics and unique blends of melody. Very much enjoyed and was surprised at learning about how much modern music has been influenced by these tracks
A few great songs like Yellow, Spies, Trouble and Parachutes. I did feel the album was very repetitive but the general album set a nice background tone for peace
Easy 5 stars
I was ready to rate the album a three for most of it, the songs were enjoyable and the stories were fun. The cadence got quite repetitive after the first few songs though. Individually the brothers had nice voices but I also felt they clashed with eachother. The last 4 songs were hymns and as I'm not religious it meant I couldnt see the meaning in them so they felt like a bit of a chore go get through, which is why I knocked the score down to a 2. I can however fully appreciate how the album is on the list.
Jazz / Folk Rock is a very interesting mix I never knew I needed in my life. It's a high 3, but once the novelty wore off I felt the album got quite repetitive. I particularly enjoyed 'empty pages' and 'every mothers son', and I think this would be great music setting the background ambience for game nights and similar events.
Some amazing songs, the scientist deserves a 5/5 and clocks 4/5. I feel like if I took coldplays hits from across their albums it would be a 5 star. But the album was too repetitive after the top songs and I'm struggling to justify a higher rating
Great album, I would have never found it without this project. Particularly enjoyed "You're not the problem" and "hero"
My radiohead cherry has finally been popped! Amazing album, cadence stayed fresh and very unique sounds, I particularly enjoyed "high and dry" and "just"
This was almost tough one to review. First of all, R.I.P Brian, I got the album curated the day after his death. I have never listened to the beach boys and I think this was a "you had to be there to get it" kind of thing, this album is special to fans as it was the album that was never made but today I don't think it holds up as well. I felt the album didn't really have a direction, the lyrics were arbitrary and I felt like this was the sound track to a play I didn't watch. 'Heroes and Villans' and 'Good Vibrations' were good songs and if the album was consistent with these then it would be a 4/5 for me
All around great album. Enjoyed every song through, the lyrics were meaningful the melodies were unique and I really enjoyed it. I've never really listened to David Bowie before and this was a perfect first impression
Honestly a brilliant album and very worthwhile listen. The lyrics paint the images Richey Edwards was suffering with while writing this album leading up to his disappearance. The melodies were unique, however I did find the actual stories being written a bit rudimental and lacking creativity outside of their topics, and I wouldn't listen to any of the songs on their own, otherwise this would have been a 4 star for me.
Really enjoyed this, the sound / melodies / lyrics / writing / execution was all class
Every song was top tier, I could feel the meaning behind the songs and the lyrics were well chosen to deliver her message. Far too many 5/5 songs to be anything less than a 5 star album
I listened to this album through a few times and kept forgetting it was playing, honestly didn't hear anything special or unique about the melodies / lyrics or otherwise. I enjoyed the songs switching to more of a grunge rock theme half way through but did also feel the songs were unnecessarily long
Definetly not my typical listen but it was really nice with headphones in travelling on the bus. His voice is calm and relaxing, but the separation of drums from singing hurt my head. All in all I won't listen to it again but im glad I heard it
Really enjoyed this, I didn't realise Jump and Panama were by Van Halen and I think I'll be checking more of their stuff out now
There's so many 5 star songs in this album, and even the slower songs are executed well executed, however I did feel the last 3 songs bring down the overall album from 5-star to 4-star.
Not sure why this album made the cut. The lyrics were ok and the melodies were basic. If I hear another harmonica again I'm going to be sick
He has a very powerful voice and tells great stories, the lyrics are funny and original too. Unfortunately this just isn't my type of music but I can appreciate it
I didn't mind them but they're not something I'd listen to again
I really couldn't get into them, they just sounded like a worse version of stereophonics
I struggled rating this one, the music was great but I wasn't a fan of the short army of songs. I think if they had around 9 Bohemian Rhapsody style songs It would have been much more enjoyable
It was a relaxing sound, but I honestly didn't feel anything special. I think anybody proficient with a music could produce a similar quality album.
Very relaxing, the lyrics were well written and combination of different instruments kept the songs fresh. I do feel like the execution could have been better though, there were times where it felt a bit amature and the songs got very repetitive after a while
This felt like a generically good album. I enjoyed listening to it, there was nothing that stood out as groundbreaking or anything, just nice background music to my day
Lyrics and flow was great, this album reminded me of Lauryn Hill and produced some great songs
Great album, its a shame theres not much reggae on the list but this was a good selection
I really likes the songs by the female lead singer and would have probably given the album a 4/5 if it was just her, reminded me of the cranberries.
American Pie is a top tier song and the rest of the album maintained a similar level of consistency, an enjoyable listen
I feel like the sound wasn't too bad, but I listened to the album twice and no matter how hard I tried I would just zone out
There were some decent songs but all in all the album didn't compete with the greats in this genre
A few good songs but overall I don't think this represents her talent and range very well.
This album made me feel physically ill. The guy can clearly play instruments well but why is he using is talents for evil?
His voice was nice and the songs are well executed, this just wasn't my flavour of crack
I felt like I was being brainwashed, not my tub of mayonnaise
I really wasn't fussed on his voice, lyrics or style. Not my bag of cement
I really loved listening to this album. The stories were so well executed with the perfect amount of humour, the build up through the songs made those loud and powerful moments more effective, overall a top tier album worthy of the list. Would be a 5 but I felt there were a few songs which didn't meet the same level of 5* like common people and disco 200
The songs ane his voice where ok but this just wasn't my blood type
I like Cee Lo Green and had no idea he has such a gritty rap album. I preferred the stand alone songs over the features though
Great lyrics, instruments, temporary, pace ,melody etc. All around solid album
There were a few decent and catchy tracks, groove of the heart was a great song but be as besides that nothing particularly special
I felt like the songs were good but the execution was poor, It felt edgy for the sake of being edgy whereas a modern and upbeat cover of some of the songs like 1957 could make the songs sound a lot more pleasant
Very up beat and nostalgic, great album
This was my first Jazz album and the oldest on the list so far, I found it really relaxing and enjoyed the live atmosphere of the album. She had a strong voice and good lyrics
I just didn't enjoy this, not my preferred method of sacrifice
The beat and style was decent but the album felt really repetitive, still i might give this another try and reasses in the future
This album felt like a fever dream, I have no idea why it's on this list as I could have definetly gone my life without listening to it
Honestly a brilliant album, I enjoyed every second. The only problem is the true brilliance came from the originality of the songs and these were covers of his previous work or other artists songs, so I couldnt rate it higher
I had this album curated after Ozzy's death. All around good album and changes is a top tier song
This album felt like a mismatch, the instruments and singing etc just felt disjointed. Not my bottle of bleach
This was a great album, melodies and lyrics were unique and I can see the influence in a lot of my favourite modern bands. I particularly enjoyed free birds, simple man & gimmi three steps. Had some of the other songs retained this level of individuality it would have been my third 5* album
Kanye honestly has some really decent songs and this album doesn't reflect those talents at all, there were two songs that upped this from a 2 (blood on the leaves & bound 2) but ultimately a bit of a disappointment and definetly not worthy of the list.
This felt like a generic modern album that doesn't follow a cohesive theme besides sex, nothing stood out to me and I don't think it's one of the best of all time... not my mug of mayonnaise
I found the lyrics nonsensical and the rhythms and tempos to be generic ans repetitive nothing stood out, not my bowl of coco pops
I love the flow and style of the beasie boys, apparently this album is such a big deal because of all the famous samples and honestly I think a lot of them went over my head. For now this is a 3*, but that might increase over time and I do plan to add a fee songs to a playlist and see if they grow on me
All in all I enjoyed the sound, nothing particularly resonated with me but i'm happy I listened to the album and wouldn't turn it off in the future
I just dont understand the target audience for this album, or what im supposed to be doing while listening... Gaming? Eating? Dancing? Sex? Exploring? Gym? Everything just seems worse with it playing, it was repetitive and unoriginal, nothing made me stop and admire the talent...
Phenomenal album, perfect example of talent, creativity and execution. One is a brilliant song, it only missed out on a 5 because as good as the album was, it didn't speak to me personally.
Honestly a great album; I loved the vibes, creativity and execution. Working class Heroes was a favourite green day song of mine so finding out it was actually a John Lennon song was a surreal experience, but show credit where credit is due!
The guy is clearly talented but this just wasn't my glass of vimto
Cold wars = 5* Tightrope = 4* There were some other good son but I felt the album was too experimental and had too much filler, so it really dragged and there were a lot of "songs" that just shouldn't have been there. I think this artist has the potential for a 5* album though
I feel like the guys in guys m this band would be awesome friends to hang out with, each song just felt like an experimental jam session. Where is my mind is a great song
It was honestly a great album, started off as a 4 with celebrity skin and awful, but the songs lots originality and there weren't many original melodies to keep it fresh so it fell to a 3 for me
This was a strange one to review. It definetly isn't my style of music and I was disappointed with the lack of substance in the lyrics. For it to be on this list i'd expect well crafted and meaningful concepts for songs but this wasn't that. However, I did enjoy zoning out and just letting the album play, ahe has a nice voice and the beats were decent
This album created a solid vibe for relaxing. There were a few similar songs, all in all I enjoyed it. I just found it was a little dated, and fell into the repetition loop a little
I can see why he made such an impact on the world. I'll keep my eye on his music in the future. I've been a bit blind to his contributions towards music in the past and look where that got me. All in all I enjoyed it, and will probably relisten to this in a few weeks and see if it grows on me
It sounded ok but repetitive and nothing stood out
There were 1 or 2 4* songs, all in all it was nice album that just failed to offer that one extra thingnto place it in the 4* catagory
It was a nice listen to, nothing stood put as ground breaking but I relaxed to the vibes
Clearly three very talented woman, but I felt their powerful voices kept clashing. Unfortunately this just wasn't my cursed artifact
This was honestly a really decent album. Nice melodies, good voice and lyrics. It would have been a 4 but the audio quality just wasn't there and the singer was drown out by the instruments
Awesome album, I have always loved the song 'seven nation army' but the other songs were amazing, unique and well executed. I'll definetly be checking out more of their albums after this and revisiting elephant again
