Bra sång, gillar hennes röst. Riktigt bra RnB-album. Drew Barrymore och ett par till sticker ut som favoriter. Inte min favoritgenre, men kan absolut tänka mig att ha skivan på i bakgrunden.
Haven't listened to the mamas & the papas much before. Only experience of their music I've had before has been singing California Dreamin with my friends. That song I love. Thought they were a one hit wonder band. They're not.
Sounds like you would think bands from the 60s would sound like, and that's probably because they're one of the bands pioneering and being the best in that genre. At least that's what I think having listened to this album.
Heard before. Some nice track. I like the overall feeling of the album more than any specific track. Good for background listening.
4 souly, long tracks. Not my favorite genre so I couldn't really appreciate it. The recommended aongs after the album was good though. Maybe I should give it another listen and see if I can develop some love for soul in general as well as the album.
Good album overall. Not as energetic as I picture old rock to be. Almost hiphopy. I guess music of today has been influenced by this. Overall just a great listen. Some catchy songs and riffs and some songs that just bring the overall tune of the album.
More rock than I thought. Not as catchy as I like it, but a good rock album overall.
This was great. Haven't really listened to Pearl Jam before. You can really hear how they've influenced the rock music of today, and especially the rock music that was popular a few years ago. Some melodic tracks, which I especially liked. The guitars stood out to me for their sound in a good way with their riffs and sounds.
What an album. Thought Elton John was more of a pop guy, but what a rock album this was. The sound and production makes it feeling a lot more modern than it is. It makes me think of Daft Punk and their quality production. First five star review.
A good listen. A few songs I hadn't heard beforethat I liked, the second track for example (iirc). Old rock that didn't really stick out except for the few tracks ai mentioned.
Listened to the first few songs in the gym and then the rest in the car, wasn't focused listening for any part of it. What I picked up was ok though. Somewhat queeny(?), and I like queen.
Unfocused listening while playing Slay the Spire. Think I read that it was their version of a soundtrack for a film named Vanishing Point. I can see that it was a soundtrack, not many singles stood out to me, but the album had a suggestive and intriguing feel.
Listened to it in the car driving to Fredriksborgs slott. Don't think I enjoyed the individual tracks as much as I was impressed by the way it transformed the car to a jazz bar. That's always something.
Didn't listen to the full album. First two songs was not my style, they were too nasal and sounded too much like whining. The three more songs I got the time to listen to were better. Still not my thing though.
One pf the best electronic albums from one of the best eöectronic bands.
A good listen. Really liked Photograph. More AC/DC than I thought.
Didn't listen to all of it abd can't say I remember much pf the songs I actually listened to. My broher says the band is good though.
I like Ozzy's vocals, but heavy metal probably isn't my genre. Can't deny that this album has some legendary songs on it though, which helps the score.
The first half of the album was a bit of a drag with a quite depressing sound and nothing that stood out, melody wise. The second half was better with a few tracks that I could see myself listen to more. Second half had catchyer and songs with a playful feeling.
Classic rock album. When I was younger and listened to metal with growl I thought AC/DC was quite soft, but it's actually quite hard. It has a very high pitched sound, both from the vocals and the instruments. It's a wall of sound, but every track still manages to be unique and the melodies still shines through. I've heard almost all tracks before and I think ai must admit that I like it more than I thought I would
Doesn't exist on Spotify or Youtube music, but I managed to listen to half of it anyway. Wasn't to my liking. You can hear that it's early in the rock era and not as refined as it later becomes. Everything sounded barebones and the instrumentals and vocals didn't carry.
He sounds fragile. Like as if he's trying out his voice under this alias. I think I hear that it's from the same era as Nirvana. The sound is similar, but this is a more toned down and sader version. Doesn't sound angry at all.
My partner's words:
We listened to Elvis right after so I have a hard time keeping them apart, but I liked it. It sounds old. Didn't recognise any songs. Maybe one. I like his voice. It was nice that it was a live album. Don't think the songs were that different from each other, didn't notice it was a new one sometimes. I liked this more than Amy Winehouse. That was harder to listen to and I don't like her voice as much. I can listen to this again.
Listened to half of it before goong to bed. Not bad. Like the vocals.
Started listening to it in the car and thought it was just noice. Then I listened to it at home and was surprised by how much ai liked it. Sounds like the singer can't resist singing to the music, like she really likes the music and just have to make noices to it. The guitar riffs and the almost skate punky drum sound goes well together.
Great! What a beautiful voice Neil Young has. The music is light, both in it's melodies and the instrumentals, with few instruments and minimal production. It still has a sense of melancoly, though. It feels like I've heard the songs before, probably true in some cases, but mostly I think it's because the music is easily digestable. I should really listen more to the lyrics, didn't pay attention to them during my listen. The feelings I get from it are summery.
Liked it a lot. Her confident voice fits into the music nicely. Can't say much more. Some calm songs I enjoyed and some more energetic that I also liked. Clearly rock of the time while still being original.
As many others I got Sabbath the day after Ozzy's passing. I liked this listen ecen though the tracks them selves didn't stood out to me. It's like metal the album woth heavy riffs and instrumentals. Great vocals, as always.
Really enjoyed this album. A few legendary songs I've heard before, but the rest was also really good. I like this happier Beatles-ish sound. It sounds like no worries or problems. Not because it's all happy go lucky, but because it sounds like it's all figured out, it sounds like it's obvious that this is what the album should sound like.
Black album. Just great heavy metal. So many famous tracks that I really enjoy. Starting with Enter Sandman, which I don't think I've liked as much as I should before. Then great song after great song. I think the vocals match the music good, but could be better.
Easy to like. Wonderful voice and just classic music.
It's an easy listen without lacking bite. I enjoy his voice more on On the Beach, it sounds more refinef and less shaky, especially on the slower tracks. The more sensitive and bright sounding voice goes well together with the music, but while I enjoyed every song on On the Beach here I don't think his voice is my cup of tea when it's supposed to sound sensitive on those songs. Reqlly enjoy the more rocky songs though, as well as some of the slower ones.
Pretty fun and some good tracks with a unique sound to them. The rap is too talky for me.
Felt like Spongebob, trying to develop a taste for free form jazz. I didn't succeed.
Got some funky vibes a la Depeche Mode. Got some disco vibea. That sounds like the ultimate mix for me, but it's not as good as it sounds. It's not bad though.
Two legendsry tracks and a reat of an album that backs it up. Minus for being lacking some excitement.
Sounds a lot like rock from this era without being generic. Nice to have in the background, but the second song stood out as a real hit to me.
Nice listening to Kanye's earlier music. More rappy and happier than I'm used to hearing him. Some songs hints at what's to come, genre wise. Not bad at all.
A pleasant listen with some interesting songs, like the second to last one. Listened to it two times and it grew on me. During the first listening I thought it was a bit bland, but with the second time I thought it became more exciting. The bland rock became well thought through tracks that worked well together.
Jawbone was fun. Rest was good. Rocky/country.
No. It's more than just sounds because I can say that it's rock, but it's just barely more than sounds.
Not bad. A nice, easy to listen to, indie album. Maybe a bit too bland.
Hard to say what genre this is. Funk? Rock? Pop? It's playful regardless. A little too playful, especially the vocals. A good listen though.
Never listened to Turbonegro before, only saw them on other people's shirts. Must say it was a lot better than I thought. Punky, rocky, energetic and fun.
This is very rocky rock. A solid rock album by a solid rock band.
Pretty uninteresting rock/punk. Not bad, but it's too kind and bland to stick out.
What a great album. I think epic applies. Had heard a couple of songs before, but all of the album was good. Electronic feeling without losing the rock and organic.
Cosy and confident, but at the same time fragile. Her voice is a little too fragile for it to be a full five stars.
Was expecting pretty kind fmrock, but this was almost a musical. Bombastic almost. His voice is clean and clear.
Fun album woth many different kinds of songs. Opening track was promising an epic journey, almost like power metal. Rest of the album was either high energy punk/alternative songs that were really good or rock songs that were good, but not that special.
Started thinking it's a bit too weird. Beatbox? Weird rythm of her quite whiny song. Mixed on top of itself. A lot of sounds and noises. Pop? Indie? I think I ended up more on the potitive side than the negative though.
Expected a bland rock album, and I guess that's what it was. I liked it though. Easy to listen to rock.
Very Arctic Monkeys-y. Good
First track was great. After that it bacme worse and worse.
Easy to convey the feeling of this one. It's Irish.
It's not their best, but it's them, and that's enough. Rediscovered some really good ones, Pheonix especially. The middle part of this album is just great. It's impressive how you can make catchy house tracks with so little.
That sounded a lot like Powerline from A Goofy Movie.
That sounded a lot like Powerline from A Goofy Movie.
Country. It was nice, wasn't it. Nothing extraordinary, but it was a good listen.
Beat It alone would give it a high score and now it comes with almost nothing but great songs.
Rollin alone calls for a score above 2. Not much higher though.
Great album. Silent night drags it down from a 5.
Pretty depressing. Some of the instrumentals was good, but the singer sounds like he deliberately sings in a depressing maner.
I'm sure it's influential, I can almost hear it. Doesn't make it great though.
Listened to the first few songs. Was not impressed.
A little weird, fun, funky, trancy(?)
