Janelle MonáeEnjoyed. Would listen again. Surprised by some 60’s vibes. Stand out track Come Alive.

First listen and knew little. I’ll definitely return to this one.
I wonder why I never got into the 90's RHCP? I like this album but they often sound very repetitive and have to be in a certain mood to enjoy.
Every year or so something reminds me of this one and love coming back to it. Take Five - no. 1 jazz single of all time? So good!
Huge guitar sound! First time to listen to an entire Nirvana. Like the music but never really dug ‘em.
Been a long time since I've listened to this album but it's timeless. All great songs. Production sounds so good.
Is Little Wing really that short?
Missed this on. Never heard of album or the band. Looks like Lazarus was a hit. A little too noisy for me. Some production seems a bit gimmicky.
Great album. Great voice. I got into her with Ingenue and never backtracked to this. Wish I would have.
Not really the way I want to listen to Sam Cooke. The audience is having a good time but distracting to me. I see that there are three versions of this album with varying degrees of the the audience in the mix.
Fave.
Probably first on the list that I don’t see a need to go back to. Most songs settle into a groove and don’t change much. Do like some of the 80’s inspiration.
I tried. Wish I could none stars. Not meaning it’s bad I’m just not a good judge with this genre.
They go deeper than I thought from just hearing the hits over the years. I feel like this has to be the blueprint for Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats.
Like the diversity. Need to come back to this one.
Use to not love the backing vocals (the Jordanairs I think?) in the past but they’ve grown. Masterpiece!
Like the hits and the bass playing and sound in first half of album is phenomenal. Back half of songs don’t do anything for me.
