I think I’ve heard the title track before? Nice sounding album, but not my cup of tea.

Know the band, Roundabout is a banger. Wouldn’t go out of my way to play the album, but wouldn’t change the channel if it was on.

Iron Maiden is one of my all time favorites, absolutely love them. I’m younger gen-x so my prime discovery years are of Bruce than Paul, but great debut album.

Love Metallica! Damaged Justice Tour 88-89 was my 1st concert! July ‘89 in CT with Stepmom, younger brother, and family friends. This is a no skip album, a fitting tribute to Cliff.

Son of Preacher Man is one of the greatest songs ever in my opinion. Was hoping for more from this album.

This album created an entire genre. I’ve loved it since the first time I put my mom’s original lp on the record player. Could listen to it every day for the rest of my life and never get tired of it.

4th Beach Boys related album in my first 40 reviews. I’ll say it again, PLEASE STOP. I understand what they did, but they’re it for me.

Just because you’re a founding member of the Velvet Underground doesn’t mean your solo stuff requires special consideration.

Tainted Love is the quintessential 80s song, while the music is enjoyable I found singing eh.

Wasn’t a huge fan when it was released. Have always enjoyed “Through the Wire” & “ All Falls Down”. What we know now about Kayne it’s hard for me to separate his personality from his art… I would say 3.5

Straight up hippie shiznit from the year 1969

Growing up it felt like “Personal Jesus” & “Enjoy the Silence” were on constant hourly rotation for MTV. Alright album I guess 2.5 stars

Good but not great.

Not a huge Neil guy, a lot of his stuff I don’t get. I do like some of the hits I guess. Always loved “Heart of Gold” & “Old Man” and enjoyed “The Needle & the Damage Done”. Overall the album was better than I expected.

Other than “God Save the Queen” & “Anarchy in the U.K.” I’ve never heard any of the other songs or had a desire to. I know this album ranks highly for so many people, but it was okay.

Was looking forward to listening to this. Love “Time After Time” but was underwhelmed by the rest of the album.

It started off as oh God, another one of these albums then I thought it would start to take off, and it never did.

Starts out sounding like someone is banging on a screen door. It’s not a bad album but it’s definitely not for me.

If thriller is a 5, this is 4-4.5 at most. There’s no denying the hits are massive! The misses on the other hand😬

The soundtrack of my youth. My mother is a huge Bruce fan, so his albums were always playing on the record player.

The only song that I know by this band is what The Dan Patrick Show would end their show with on every Friday. I still couldn’t tell you the name of it. Decent album but wasn’t blown away.

Have loved this album since I was 10-11 years old, favorite Anthrax album.

Even though the album has nine tracks on it, it felt like it should’ve only been four or five. A lot of the songs sounded exactly the same to me.

I felt like I had fallen back into the 90s. Rather enjoyed this album.

Nile Rodgers is the man! Enjoyed the album but was expecting more.

Chris Cornell is one of the greatest singers of my generation. I hated “Black Hole Sun” still kinda do because MTV played it every 10 minutes. Then saw Soundgarden at Municipal Auditorium in 1996, he sang it a cappella I was blown away. I’ve always been more Alice In Chains (1a) & Pearl Jam (1a) followed by Soundgarden then Nirvana for the Seattle 4.

Never got into them when I was younger. Like a repeating record of previous comments, was expecting more.

“Groove Is In the Heart” is an all time jam. I felt like the rest of the album didn’t hold the same momentum.

After seeing another Bowie album listed from the twenty-teens, I thought are you friggin serious? Upon multiple lessons across two days I enjoyed it more than I expected to.

Here’s the song I know from the DP show “Wake Up”. Like the previous album of theirs, decent enough.

Moving to TN as an 11 year old and living here now for 37 years. I still have a hard time grasping/accepting/liking country music. I do remember the song with Buck Owens.

Yeah an hour long album of just piano is not for me.

Simply Amazing

Janis (or JJ as she’s know in my family, little inside joke) is such a power house.

Man I love this album, haven’t listened to it in its entirety in a while. The memories of that time in my life are coming back in waves.

Really only know them from “Creep” which they hate & “Karma Police”. This album was just one big whiny shrill of whatever. 1.5 Star

John Lee Hooker is the man! Very enjoyable album.

Have enjoyed them since hearing them for the first time on the “Singles” soundtrack. Mark Lanegan has such a distinct voice. This is a great album that I listen to a lot.

I did not appreciate The Cult enough when I was younger. They weren’t as heavy as the other metal bands that I was listening to at the time. As I’ve gotten older, I realized what a great band they are. 3.5 stars

Surprised to see the MTV video era album on this list. Decent album but far from their best.

This album is packed full of hits that are main stays in the setlist for years to come. I compare this to Metallica’s Black album, this is what sent Bruce even further into the stratosphere. He was already huge but this made most mainstream people fans.

As much as I love them I’m embarrassed to admit that this is the first Creedence album that I’ve listened to. Everything else has always been a compilation/best of album. Very good album 3.5 stars.

Enjoyable Christmas album

Wasn’t a fan when I was younger but can appreciate them now that I’m older. As with other bands I like the hits instead of the entire album.

Never a huge fan, only know the radio hits. Damn that was a struggle to get through.

The album felt uneven. The majority it were slow tracks with a couple of up tempo bangers sprinkled in. Easily could have been a 5 if it had that up tempo beat throughout, unfortunately it did not.

I had War on cassette tape as a young child. When this album came out I was 10 years old and already a full blown metal head. Decent enough album though MTV played the hit videos over and over and over again. It got even worse with the following albums.

I don’t get the mass appeal of Coldplay to me. They’re overrated and just like any other pop band.

I moved from Connecticut to Tennessee when I was 11 years old. I was a full on metal head & could not stand country music. Almost pushing 50, I want to appreciate country music for what it is but holy hell that was horrible.

When I was a teenager I thought I liked The Doors. Now I can take it or leave it.

“I Believe in a Thing Called Love” is a fun song, the rest of the album is so so.

This album was everywhere when I was in middle school. It even spawned a strip club anthem. Not every song is a hit but most are.

I know “Blister in the Sun” and one or two more sound familiar. Decent album, not sure I could listen to for a prolonged period.

Do not understand the hype for this band, not a fan.
