Dolly Parton
5/5
Individually, these three powerful female musicians have such unique sounds and stories to tell. Together, that storytelling was amplified. Despite not being a country music fan, I really enjoyed this album and will add it to my musical rotations. 10/10!
Janelle Monáe
5/5
Loved the variations from classical, instrumental, synth, hip hop, rap, jazz, pop, and electronic. All around great listen. Janelle is a master storyteller throughout each song. This album is going in my rotation.
Coldplay
4/5
Solid album. I've always been a fan of Coldplay's early albums.
Thin Lizzy
4/5
I'm not a huge fan of live recorded music. This album was a good mix of songs I know and songs I hadn't. It was a nice listen.
Paul McCartney and Wings
4/5
This is a fun and simply Paul letting loose with the band. Great listen!

4/5
Very unique listen. I liked the stories from each song and some of the musical interludes and intros were a welcome addition. I will add this album to my rotation. Solid album.
The Jam
4/5
This was a good listen. Solid 80's music with the feels and sounds of The Psychedelic Furs, The Smiths, and a little Cheap Trick. I enjoyed this and will add The Jam into my music rotation.
Gang Of Four
3/5
This was new and unfamiliar to me. It was an interesting listen. They remind me of some other artists of this time. Overall, it was an okay album, just not one I'd seek out for myself.
Harry Nilsson
3/5
Fun listen, good sounds, vocals reminded me of George Harrison and Paul Simon.
Sabu
4/5
This album was soulful and gave me the feeling as though I were experiencing a Cuban street festival or general street musicians. I enjoyed this fusion of Latin music.
My Bloody Valentine
3/5
This album had a cross-genre sound and feel and sound for me. It was a mix of New Order, The Deftones, and a wee bit of Sum 41. I have heard of My Bloody Valentine but never listened to their music. A good listen but felt repetitive.
The Doors
3/5
Straight forward Jim Morrison and The Doors. It was a good listen and will show up in my music rotations.
Leonard Cohen
4/5
Soulful and disturbing, but in a good way. The lyrics told a painful story in some songs and others were songs with a silver lining. I thought that Cohen must've been some of the inspiration for Bob Dylan and Paul Simon.

The Verve
4/5
I was a fan of "Bittersweet Symphony" when it came out in the 90's. After learning that The Verve had ripped off the intro from a Rolling Stones song, I was less of a fan. That song is still nostalgic when it comes on a playlist or the radio. This album wasn't what I was expecting and went a slight bit hard-core with it's message and intent. It was moderately good.
