Reviews (page 2 of 14)
Good one. I don't think it's aged so well
Okay, I liked this a lot more than Bad. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough is a great opener and incredibly funky, and overall this album was musically much better than Bad. But I don't know what it is - after a while Michael Jackson just does not click with me anymore (it's probably his annoying hee-hees and oh-ahs) and the whole album gets a lot less enjoyable. Overall: the first half was pretty good, but the second half was quite a drag. Favourite song: Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
Good album. Love Michael Jackson but can only listen to a certain amount of disco pop before it gets boring for me. However, all the songs are bangers.
The first two tracks on this album are bangers. The rest? Not so much. Three stars for the first two tracks.
How come no one just told Michael to just stfu with those autistic noises
Some signs of what Michael would become, but a bit too much generic-sounding disco here. I do wish I had listened to this before “Bad”.
There’s a circle I can’t square with some of the immensely popular artists on the list like the Beatles or Michael Jackson. Do their albums truly qualify as records “you must hear before you die” when they are so ingrained in popular culture that it would be shocking to find someone what has never heard a beat of their music? In a sense, they’ve become so essential that they are inessential - it should go without saying that you know at least some of their music, because being able to avoid it is almost impossible. I guess what I’m saying is that I usually don’t gain much new insight from hearing a record like this. I know who Michael Jackson was, lived through his heyday and this record didn’t move the needle on my opinion of him in any way. It’s Michael Jackson. It sounds like a Michael Jackson record. Sure, there are songs here that aren’t mainstays in popular culture, particularly in the back half, but that’s probably for a reason…they’re not that memorable and don’t do enough to differentiate themselves from other, similar sounding music of the time.
Pretty good. Some songs i enjoyed but it all kinda sounded the same.
OK, let’s start with the good. This is objectively a fine album, musically speaking. Quincy Jones is clearly the driving force behind this and his trademark production genius is to the fore, and there are songwriting credits for Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney too. The bad, is that it’s very difficult to listen to this knowing what we do about just how damaged Jackson was and how that manifested itself in his later life.
Music is ok. I’ve been listening to these songs my whole life. Can’t wait until Gary Glitter pops up here
There's something interesting about songs that were ubiquitous when growing up: they become part of your background environment that you hardly notice. That's what it felt like listening to this now: massive chart hits that do so little for me that all I can do is shrug. Plus the second half of the album is mostly filler. Oh, and he was also a nonce.
As people born with sickle-cell trait have a natural resistance to malaria, so I seem to have been gifted with a good degree of immunity to disco and funk era Michael Jackson.
C tells me this album was seared into her brain because it’s what Coach Cortez used to teach her PE class the Square Dancing unit in 6th grade
I kind of hate this album. It sounds empty and cheap in all of the worst ways.
Today I only listened to this and the PC Engine soundtrack to "Double Dragon II: The Revenge"; listen to the latter. Off The Wall plunges after the first two tracks, which themselves are pretty fab. I'll mumble "rote late-disco" and get back to the Double Dragon II OST.
It was alright? Sort of blended together by the end. First two tracks are classics for a reason. The groove throughout was good. Just sort of forgettable to me.
Meh.
pedo
The brass is so good. Some songs are catchy as hell. I wish I could separate the art from the pedophile. Damn it. ⭐: Would be 4 stars, but...
Sorry, I can't separate the artist from the criminal. Whatever next, Gary Glitter? FFS.
Too soon.
Nope
I meannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn......
I don't listen to chicken hawks
Won't listen
At this point cannot separate the art from the artist, hence shitty.
How do you rate the work of a pedophile? Music is fun, but very dated. Songs are a bit repetitive and Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough is probably the best song on here, and it seems overly long. All in all, not a bad choice for a rainy Monday morning, but MJ's reputation ruins it.

10s ACROSS THE BOARD!!!
Defined my expectations
Good
Fun and upbeat

Michael Jackson, look what you’ve done!

9/10… soul / funk / disco / *1979
one of the greatest records of all time, and one of my favourites ever ever everrrr
MICHEAL JACKSON HELLLLL YEAHHHHHH!!!!!! Fell that beat and we ride the boogie, share the beat of love I wanna Rock with you ALLLLLL NIGHTTTTTT dance you into the sunlightttttttt I remember rock with you was that song while I volenteering at my district library shelf reading, dancing my bum off while doing it. That’s how banger this song is. One of my fav songs from this album alone. THIS ALBUM JUST TOOO FUCKING GOOD. True Micheal Jackson Greatness.
My opinions of MJ and the bad choices he made have nothing to do with how much I enjoy this particular album. It's fun and easy to listen to, easy 5 stars for me.
The beginning of the Quincy Jones era. Probably the best of the three big mega hit albums. It’s the most consistent, and I believe it sets the template for how Thriller and Bad are put together. But on this album, the slow burns actually make sense. On Bad they just sit there in the middle for no apparent reason. But here, they’re part of a story, a boy going out, breaking with his family, hitting the clubs as his own man for the first time. Yeah, maybe I’m reading a bit into it, but I have always felt that Michael’s direction as his own man was strongly felt throughout this album. So… 5 Boolean:True
Disco, funk, Michael Jackson, quizás no su mejor álbum, pero imposible no darle 5 estrellas
Increible, uno de los mayores 10/10 de la historia
This is oretrybgoood ngl
I sure do like jazz
First listened 16th-18th September 2024. Favourite songs are Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough and Rock With You.
Excellent! Better than Thriller
Favourite Songs: Rock With You Get On The Floor Off The Wall I Can't Help It
Beaucoup de chansons que j’avais écoutées individuellement mais première fois l’album en entier. Après ça reste Michael Jackson ça ne déçoit pas.
Off the Wall is a timeless classic that captures Michael Jackson at the moment he became a superstar and delivered one of the greatest pop albums ever made. A true masterpiece where Michael was no longer a child-star with his family band. Produced by Quincy Jones, the album seamlessly blends disco, funk, soul, R&B, and pop into a collection of songs that remains fresh decades later. From the infectious groove of Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough to the smooth sophistication of Rock with You and the emotional depth of She's Out of My Life, every track showcases Jackson’s remarkable vocal ability and charisma. The album never feels dated because its focus is on irresistible melodies, musicianship and rhythms rather than fleeting trends. Off the Wall remains an essential listen and a benchmark for pop and R&B excellence. It's an album with no weak moments, overflowing with memorable hooks and performances that still sound electrifying today.
This is one hell of a groovy masterpiece. The funk and grooves are insane throughout and this album just screams of MJ at his very best. I absolutely love it and every single song has a fantastic place in the record.
honestly couldnt stop dancing my way around the lounge.
this album always manages to put me in a good mood when i need it
12/5
best album I've listened to off this site yet!! 5/5
There will never be another MJ. Plain and simple. Off the Wall is one of the ultimate funk albums of its era, containing this infectious groove throughout that never falters and keeps your toes tapping. Usually I'd stick my daily album on whilst out on a walk, but this one I just had to stay home and dance to, as I let the music move me. Not a single skip to be found here, and an early indication as to the special talent that the world could have never been ready for. This might not be Michael's debut, but it's certainly the first true MJ album. Favourite track: Get On The Floor Least favourite track: Girlfriend
insanely good not a single miss!
I am absolutely so amazed at how good every single song is on this album, it could legit be its own single. Amazing and fun!
Legendary dancing at end of it.
I was going to give this a 4 and then I remembered the worst song on the album was written by a Beatle so I guess it's getting a 5.
Me encantó, muy bueno. Ya lo había escuchado, es un clásico, pero siempre es bueno escucharlo una vez más.
banger
A truly perfect disco record. He’s the king of pop for a reason. An amazing lyricist an performer. The range is huge, the songs are fun, makes you want to dance. It’s one thing to grow up after his star has faded and hear of the legend, but to rediscover the genius is something so fun.
MJ classic, pretty good
Fabulous album. Perfection
Masterpiece, Atemporal.
Heard this album long along ago, it's Jackson, hard to hate it, genuinely very pleasant listen.
Classic. Inventive whilst also being really easy listening. No complaints, love the instrumentation.
Michael sendo Michael. Incrível.
For me, this is peak MJ. His first with Quincy and really his first “adult” record. Pretty close to perfection, especially for a pure pop record. The one mid song for me is Girlfriend. The rest, incredible. Side 1 is untouchable in the pop world. Even over Thriller, where side 1 is knocked down by The Girl is Mine.
apenas do caralho.
Maybe the best disco/pop album of all time
Найкращий поп-альбом в історії музики
ZACH WEEK Objectively as a musician Michael Jackson had a once in a generation talent and everyone around him knew that. He causes way too much buzz. I mean even the title off the wall, he has been sheltered and sticking to the familiar for so long and Quincy Jones saw the potential and they created the greatest disco record ever. Also one of the best pop records ever. I choose to believe in my mind that when Michael made this he wasn’t a evil human and we are looking at the music. It’s just hard when you have that looming question in the back of your mind. Irregardless. Girlfriend is one of my favs that I sing all the time and it’s all cause of that beautiful beautifully played bass sheesh seriously just let it take you. It literally has no skips. Going to leave that 9 to 5 on the shelf and just enjoy myself literally even the worst song imo burn this disco out just has this groove and dance to it and it takes EVERY SONG on the album to get to the low point and even then. I can’t say that for any other album. This album makes the world feel so hopeful and exciting it has the Tapestry sauce, the Sgt Peppers sauce. It’s just so universal and it’s awful that this music was made by someone who is so terrible but the music has already been given to the world and has already changed the world we see it everywhere. I see Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk, Sabrina Carpenter all over this. Album cover is literally the short and sweet album cover Michael made the playbook for the pop star and everyone follows it A perfect representation of pop and a record to play on a sunny day like today. Simple tunes with massive impact. Fuck Michael Jackson and the lives he ruined
The first truly great album by solo Michael. It's also the first in an uncanny run of records that would secure him the nickname of "The King of Pop."
Sensational. In the holy trinity of Mike albums
shaking my ass to completion
Micky j
My favorite MJ album!!
Listened to this for the first time this year in January! love it obvs
well hell… just a perfect album. truly no notes. i could listen to it forever and ever. also, his best album (get over it).
Off the charts, I want to watch the MJ movie now. I wanna rock with youuuu
Idk if this makes sense but I need someone to do to me what Quincy Jones did to these drums.
hermoso album, muestra los comienzos del gran Michael Jackson. Ya lo conocia y lo escuche todo.
If you knew nothing of Michael Jackson, this is a great 70s pop album with upbeat dance songs
Michael you were so talented why the fuck did you have to go and ruin it all by being a pedophile
evergreen
Quincy Jones makes me like nonces
Super epic
for context este album lo vengo escuchando hace semanas. temazo tras temazo tras temazo. Desde el momento que pongo play que no puedo parar de bailar, es más fuerte que yo.

Yeah, a hell of an album. Gotta give credit to the beginning of partnership with Quincy Jones. I don't think I need to right much about it today. On a personal level, this is the album that made me fall in love with MJ's music. I admit I didn't listen to this one yesterday (I have heard it countless times in my life). And I think between 4 and 5, but after looking at the tracklist, well, there aren't any holes there. It's a 5
How do you rate this masterpiece?! It's 10 ⭐
back to back bangers. unfortunately a 5. genuinely tried to find a song that i didn't remember even a little snippet of. failed. one of the great triumphs of modernism's failure to stop orienting things around pedophiles and/or the production of traumatized men. quick shoutout to canon event musician quincy jones.
Great disco. Didn't enjoy Girlfriend – nothing worth noting. Catchy, groovy and beautiful all round otherwise. The beginning of an illustrious legacy.
Classic, what more can you say.
huge fan of michael jackson, i love the disco style, super danceable
Better than Thriller
Oh boy, it’s time to throw my hat into the ring of the 2026 Michael Jackson discourse! This has to be a good idea, right? Yeah, due to the recent release of the newest entry in the "basic-ass musician biopic" pantheon, people are talking more about Michael Jackson now than they have for some time, for better and worse. Much of this discussion is naturally around the movie, as well as the, um, allegations, but I'm not here to do that. Obviously, those are discussions worth having and I don't want to downplay anything of the sort, but that's not really the point of this specific album review, you know? TL;DR: Fuck Michael Jackson, but this album goes kinda crazy. What can I say? I know real-ass pop music when I hear it. Off the Wall is widely seen as the true debut of Michael Jackson as a solo artist and it's excellent. This is the album that put Michael on the map so that he could take over the map entirely with Thriller. Off the Wall is also seen as one of the last hurrahs of disco as a genre, which is pretty neat to hear. Between those things and the beginning of MJ's time working with Quincy Jones, it's easy to see why Off the Wall is considered a must-listen album. But is the album good enough to match that? Oh yeah it is. Of course, I can't call this album better than Thriller, but the fact that I have seen some people say that it is is a testament to how good this one as well. This album is just fun, alright? The production here is delightful. I adore the bass parts on a majority of these songs. Speaking of songs, boy does this album have some stellar ones! "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" might be Michael Jackson's best album opener ever. It just oozes happiness and the song perfectly exemplifies how enjoyable music can be. Amazing opener. "Rock With You" comes next and it's honestly just as great. I really love the chorus on this one. This one's just lovely as well. That's two-for-two for amazing songs, though the rest of the album isn't quite as stacked as that 1-2 punch at the beginning. Of course, the rest of the album is great. I love the bass groove of the title track. The latter half of the album has some solid ballads like "I Can't Help It" and "She's Out of My Life." "Get on the Floor" is super underrated and a stellar bassline. This album is just a non-stop train of peak music! Once again, I do believe that Thriller improved on what this album set up, but Off the Wall is so much fun. Is it my favorite album of 1979 with "the wall" in its name? Believe it or not, no, but it's still wonderful. Amazing album. It's a shame that MJ was probably a total creep. Oh well. At least he's dead now. Light 5/5.
Groovy
THAT´S WHY HE´S THE GOAT
10/10
Erste Hälfte Musik zum Bangen, zweite Hälfte Musik zum Bangen (If you know what I mean)
One of MJs bests
Excellent! Everything: songs, vocals, arrangements, instrumental…
Separating art from the artist, which is very tricky. Although, this was made well before he did all those horrible, horrible things. This is a really exceptional album. The music was excellent and had such a good funk feel to it. The lyrics are fun and catchy. It’s something you can absolutely groove to. I’d heard the more popular songs from it many times, but the album as a whole is so good from start to finish. It just makes you feel good listening to it.
The king of the king!
i see why they call him the king of pop. rip
love it! my fav is off the wall
Bellísimo
incredible cmon
No vale
Yeah i loved it, I'm rating the art and not the artist
oh so very groovy
So awesome the way through, truly. Some epic bass lines, and some incredible vocals. The best songs are Rock With You, Get on the Floor, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, and Burn This Disco Out. The ones I didn't love as much were Girlfriend, I Can't Help It, and It's the Falling in Love, though these were still good songs.
10 - EXCELLENT
First half is 6/5. Second half is 3/5. So I guess it's 4.5/5
Love love love
Great album, have always enjoyed it.
Loved from start to finish. Hard to objectively critique some songs that you’ve heard a million times before, but the lesser played songs are all also gems. Fav songs: It’s the Falling in Love, Burn This Disco Out
Basically, the better version of the Prince album. This might be Michael Jackson's best era. It's funky and catchy, great for a dance and disco, but still has a lot of that rich harmonic integrity and bass-centricity from their Motown days. The bass playing is amazing and has even been upgraded with occasional slap bass. Michael Jackson singing is great, much less annoying than Prince. This was another album that I've already heard in its entirety, but have not heard it all recently, like the Talking heads album. Now that I've revisited it, I can say with more confidence that there aren't really any bad tracks, so this album sits somewhere between a four and a five.
Outstanding rhythm section, outstanding vocalist. . . . come on I pity the fool who can't enjoy this Contributions from Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Louis Johnson, and Quincy Jones. . . . come on
Amé el álbum la vibe y los vocales de Michael 🔝🔝🔝
Michael Jackson at the height of his career. This album laid the foundations for the sound that would reach its commercial peak on *Thriller*. Yet unlike *Thriller*, *Off The Wall* is still deeply rooted in the sound of the 1970s. It marked the first time MJ had collaborated with Quincy Jones. The duo would go on to shape the sound of the 1980s and spin the hit machine ever faster. With a disastrous end. But the lightness of this quasi-debut by the new, grown-up Jacko would remain unrivalled.
I mean, what can I even say? It's Michael Jackson! Even on this early solo album, his songs still sound fresh and relevant. Some of the songs aren't as catchy aa he would later perfect his music to be, but everything is just so good you can't help but enjoy it. He was (and really still is( the king of pop for a reason.
Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough - 5/5 Rock With You - 5/5 Working Day and Night - 5/5 Get on the Floor - 5/5 Off the Wall - 5/5 Girlfriend - 4/5 She's Out of My Life - 3/5 I Can't Help It - 4/5 It's the Falling in Love - 4/5 Burn This Disco Out - 5/5 Average score: 4.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ never listened to this in full, but it's unsurprisingly great! this and Thriller were definitely the best in his discography (in my opinion)
A Great way to start this journey; I was lucky to find Off the Wall as my first álbum, there’s no doubt that Michael Jackson is the ultimate Pop Star. As a challenge I chose a couple of songs for my Spotify play list (Ceratiempo K-list): 1. Rock with you 2. Off the Wall Thanks
This is classic Michael Jackson at its fullest
Legend🔥
Great album.classic
increible
Great
Pretty insane that this is his 2nd best album and people would die for this level of production on just 1 or their albums.
dancing emojis
So. Gosh. Darned. Funky moves that make you want to move open with eyes closed
i mean COME ONNNN
seriously, what a classic. some of the greatest music comes from Mr Jackson here. gotta love em.
This album as a whole isn’t as strong as Thriller, but I found myself more impressed with it. I was more unfamiliar with most of the songs, yet I still found that same consistency on Thriller throughout. It’s a solid selection of great songs, and to me, it seems like the true beginning to MJ’s unsurpassed career as a singer and a performer. Fantastic album.
79’ debut set the tone for the next decade with dance music hit after hit …MJ Forever. 3 Years later Thriller breaks all the records
Lowkey think this is even better than Thriller. Unreal album
The King of Pop at the peak of his powers 5/5
there will never be anyone like Michael
When I’m not listening to MJ, I think he’s overrated. When I’m listening to MJ, I remember why he’s rated.
This is probably my favourite Michael Jackson album. The most disco, the most funky
Me gustó, muy disco. Algunas ya las conocía
Absolute banger
Such a great album. Terrific production. Only the last 2 or 3 tracks could be classed as average, everything else is top level for me.
Album #60: Off the Wall - Michael Jackson Genre (W): Disco, funk, pop, R&B Singles: Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough, Rock with You, Off the Wall, She’s Out of My Life, Girlfriend I have listened to this album several times before. Thoughts: Groovy, upbeat, fun! Those are the adjectives I’d use to describe this album. From start to finish, Jackson’s album radiates a sense of escape and enjoyment. I love Side One, and I especially love the title track! Jackson’s vocals are superb and Jones’s production is outstanding. Favorite songs: All of it!!

Absolute classic MJ - a no skip album.
It's Mike Jack, son.
Obviously the pacing of this album is a little iffy but generally I think the songwriting is superb and the vibes are just so good.
Great
This album is off the wall
This album is incredible. The richness of the music and the rhythm make it a truly sensory experience.
Se tivesse como dar 10 estrelas, eu daria 11

Can’t deny it
Unfortunately this album is too good
“Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” is one of the best album openers of all time
its off the wall like cmon dawg
the goat
Awesome early album! No idea so many classics
I mean, it's some of his best work. Love it.
Fantastic album! Classic, easy 5/5
Even though I'm more of a Thriller guy, this album is absolutely amazing.
Discazo, me pierdo un poco en la antepenultima y penultima canción pero espectacular el resto, mis favoritas Rock With You y Off The Wall
A more than perfect soul and disco album by one of the absolute geniuses of my lifetime. As good as Thriller or Bad to me.
Unglaubliche vibe. Finds persönlich fast besser als thriller.
Love it. Own it.
The first album in collaboration with Quincy Jones sees Michael boldly move from his motown roots of his early career and onto a fusion of Disco, R&B and Pop. Simply put this album put Jackson on the trajectory to being a global superstar.
Not the King of Pop. Just a great musician making a ridiculously great record.
Banger album. In my opinion even the lows are high, and the highs more than make up for them. I’ll give it 5 stars
Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Really makes me wish roller rinks were still a thing. I could see the boys courting the lasses with a nice choreographed roller dance. Incredibly catchy. King of pop for a reason; band is also nailing every track.
Basically impossible to overstate the iconic status of this record. Every song is an undeniable bop. Favorite Song: Off the Wall. The intro to this is one is just something else.
Already listened, ts fye
Off the Wall, the breakthrough solo statement by Michael Jackson, carries within it a persistent tension, an undercurrent of controlled chaos that gives the album its kinetic life. This is not chaos in the sense of disorder, but rather a tightly harnessed energy. Much of that vitality stems from Jackson’s first collaboration with Quincy Jones, a partnership that would soon become legendary. Here, it feels almost alchemical. Jones’s meticulous, jazz-informed arrangements give shape to Jackson’s boundless exuberance, resulting in a sound that might well represent the apex of what disco could offer just as the genre was slipping out of fashion. At its core, Off the Wall is a joyous record. You can hear the smile in Jackson’s singing. The music itself is lush and layered, yet never cluttered. It is a party album, but one that does not require a crowd. Its energy translates just as powerfully in solitude, turning a living room into a private dance floor. There is an extraordinary luminosity to the record. It seems to bathe everything it touches in light, an effect achieved not only through Jackson’s radiant performance but also through arrangements that remain effortlessly fresh decades later. This is not merely a great disco album. It is, quite arguably, a perfect one.
Holy shit, two bangers in a row???
vinyl day!! perfect album top to bottom. every song gets stuck in my head
Love this!
I love this album. I have a hard time picking which I like better, Thriller or this. I think I prefer this because I would listen to Thriller so much as a kid. Just a fun pop album, front to back!
Trumpeten i rock with you. Shes out of my life är väl svagast, i synnerhet det fruktansvärda gråtet i slutet.
I like disco. I like Mj. This gets me movin.
peak. as simple as that.
Incredible, remarkable and better than Thriller. Consistency and theme, that's what I'm asking for.
I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, probably. I knew this was proto-Thriller and was comfortable missing out on some tracks for my whole life up till now (10, 9 and 6 specifically) but MAN I never knew just how much this album feels like he and Quincy Jones are actively evolving into the next stage. Feels like a perfect mix of sending off the Jacksons and disco era (although the Jacksons kept going WITH Michael Jackson until like 85, and disco kept going BUT popularity started to dwindle, even Chic's last mega hit was in 79) and starting the next big step. I'm no hyper fan (just a big fan), but it's damn near undeniably wonderful music. P.S., I LOVE YOU LOUIS JOHNSON
What a miracle of an album. So smooth, joyous, funky and musical through and through. Would rate a 4.5 for Girlfriend but otherwise perfect
Funky funk funk Great album
First album produced by Quincy Jones. The album features songwriting contributions from Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Rod Temperton, Tom Bahler, and David Foster, alongside three tracks penned by Jackson himself. Again more historically important than must be heard. There are better more iconic albums by Michael. 2 songs added to playlist.
Off The Wall >>>>> Thriller What an amazing album. All killer and no filler. Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough might be the best album opener I’ve heard so far. Best it’s not just the incredible disco songs that are great. The more somber songs like She’s Out of My Life and I Can’t Help It are amazing too. I’ll be back to this one for years to come
I'm going to have to go back and re-rate the Kanye album on musical merits only for the sake of consistency...and just rate on the music moving forward (not whether the artist is problematic or potentially problematic). Michael's cooking here and It's the Falling in Love is in my top 10 favorite songs of his.
Buenísimo album
Classic
This is probably my favorite MJ album; and thats mostly due to the first two tracks. "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" is a top tier song. The strings are just *Chef's Kiss* I will die on the hill that "Rock With You" is a perfect song and could be played anywhere except a funeral and be a hit. Brass and general funk on "Get on the Floor" is infectious I cannot believe Tyler, the Creator didn't get sued for "Ring Ring Ring" for its similarities to "Off the Wall" "She's Out of My Life" is a welcome change of pace. Gotta sulk a little sometimes before returning to the dance floor. The last 2/3 songs kinda slow down and feel too Bruno Mars to me in 2026 but that's a testament to MJs impact - At worst, this album sounds like one of the biggest modern musicians.
amazinggg
Great work by MJ with highlights being Rock With you, Don't Stop til you get Enough, and She's Out of my Life
This is a brilliant album but also makes me incredibly sad, like Nick Drake's amazing works.
10/10 so many bangers and songs that u can’t help but listen to again and again
Absolute groove bomb. My personal favorite Michael Jackson album. I have at least 3 of these songs in my regular rotation already.
Say what you want about the guy, this is pure talent. Sure he was odd, but this man defined his genre. I think the only musician more talented than him was Prince.
FINALLYYYYY - such an easy listen, it's fire, nothing else on this list freaking MATTERS
More MJ = More Peak 5 stars Light 9 out of 10
I was on my feet with these songs. My favorites were - I can't help it - Girlfriend - Workin Day and Night -Off the Wall
YEAAAAHHH
Don't Stop 'Till You Get Enough - 9/10 (A tad too long, but I mean it's still incredible) Rock With You - 11/10 (Do I even have to say anything) Workin' Day and Night - 10/10 Get on the Floor - 10/10 Off The Wall - 12/10 (One of my favourite MJ songs ever) Girlfriend - 9.5/10 (Really fun calmer track, and I am a sucker for those) She's Out of My Life- 9/10 (Really nice ballad) I Can't Help It - 9.5/10 (A bit repetitive but still amazing) It's the Falling in Love- 9.5/10 Burn This Disco Out - 10/10 While not the best MJ album, for a "first" album this is genuinely so good oh my lord. 5/5
Was feeling a bit sluggish this morning, and this is exactly what I needed. I've listened to the "Thriller" and "Bad" albums quite a bit, but have actually never tuned in to this earlier one before. I'm glad I did. Plenty of funky baselines and I feel like even the songs I hadn't heard prior had top 40 potential. If I had one note, it could always use more "hee-hee's."
MJ on top of the world. Nothing but smooth sailing on calm seas from now on....
One of the more controversial artists of all time. I will just focus on the album and leave out any alleged personal life issues. This album has three massive hits "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough", "Rock with You" and "Off the Wall" alongside a couple of songs that were pretty big when this was released. Its pure pop, funk, disco gold. All of the songs are catchy and make you tap your feet. Every song is complex, with stereo effects, a wide arrangement of instruments that feel like they have been arranged and mixed to studio perfection. It is possibly the best disco album ever, I haven't heard a better one yet. (4.500)
What the fuck was I doing at 21 years old man? So much funk and soul on this record, and Michael Jackson's vocals ARE incredible, but it felt like Quincy Jones had 35 instruments to choose from and each one was perfectly placed.
This isn't Michael Jackson's best, but it's still a classic that everyone should definitely listen to all the way through before they die. That means it gets 5 stars
10/10 Favorites: Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough Rock with You Workin’ Day and Night It’s the Falling in Love Burn This Disco Out
I came in expecting something pretty decent, came out with one of my favorite albums of all time. MJ is the goat! Favorites: Off The Wall, I Can't Help It Least favorites: Burn This Disco Out, Get on the Floor Rating (out of 10): 9.5/10
Me encanta amamos
MJ is MJ. Can’t stop til you get enough haha
Absolute banger, there is nothing else I can say. Sure, not the best MJ album, but it´s a solid 5/5. Best artist ever. WOOF WOOF AWOOOOOOO and not a pedo, read some news and get off the internet. and from now on I will be putting bird species on my reviews, so people on the reddit will recognize me today´s bird is: wallcreeper (Tichodroma muraria)
This album slaps, it’s better than Thriller, there i said it!
Had this album when it came out so good I mean please!!!
Precisely my type of groove with such amazing instrumentals and vocal harmonies. Michael Jackson was on his a-game here and truly employs all his musicianship. The popular songs I knew previously are just as catchy as the new ones to me. I could listen to these any day and I’d be put in an amazing mood. So much is going on in the background orchestration as well with quite incredible solos and an amazing band accompanying the singers.
very interesting pop album directly from the legend
Off the Wall Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough is undeniable, an ecstatic, joyous swirl of strings, woos, drums, guitars and sex. It sounds fantastic at the hand of Quincy Jones, and its arranged brilliantly, the guitar running through, the breakdowns, the horns, the strings, a genius song. I certainly can’t get enough of it. Rock with You, Workin’ Day and Night and Get on the Floor follow and they are fantastic disco-funk-soul too, all brilliant tracks, even if they don’t quite have the same infectious jubilance of Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough. The title track makes it 5 bangers from 5 songs, Rod Temperton borrowing his own bass hook from Boogie Nights to make a great slinky disco-funk track. There’s a bit of lull between Off the Wall and It’s the Falling in Love, or at least Girlfriend, She’s Out of My Life and I Can’t Help It struggle to match the level of the previous 5 songs. Girlfriend is probably the best of these, although the signature Macca jauntiness feels slightly out of step with the rest of the disco-funk. I’m not generally a fan of MJ’s ballads, but She’s Out of My Life is probably his best, and although it's very nice, I can somewhat take it or leave it. I Can’t Help It is fine also, but lacks the dynamism of the first side, recalling Stevie’s dip post Songs in the Key of Life. It’s The Falling in Love picks things back up with a great bit of soul-pop and Burn This Disco Out closes with another disco-funk banger. I think I have always preferred this over Thriller, but looking back I think I understarred Thriller. Although I maintain Baby Be Mine, Human Nature and The Lady in My Life aren’t that great, the stone cold classics on there should outweigh them, and similarly I think the superb disco-funk of 2/3rds of this album outweigh the little second side lull, so this, as should Thriller be, is a 5. 🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱 Playlist submission: Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough
Masterpiece top to bottom
IT JUST CELETED MY WHOLE ENTITE REVIEW BROOOOOOOOOO. 10/10 tho but i said how this album was my favorite micheal album of all time and shout out i cant help it
A great time!
Amazing!!!! I love Micheal Jackson what a legend.
Except for the two ballads it's a perfect album, production and everything are amazing. Choosing to keep the funk for the ranking 4.5/5
This album already sparked a very heated discussion with a former lover of mine who was a dancer, a few years ago. There are some people who really think that Michael Jackson is only about dances and choreography, and completely ignore the (almost) perfect discography of this incredible artist. And this is certainly (although not my favorite) the best album of his solo career. Michael + Quincy = 5 Stars without even blinking.
An oldie and goldie!
The only Michael Jackson album for me. While clearly exploring the dance-pop sensibilities that will make him a superstar in years to come, this album remains rooted in '70s R&B and soul. Fun fact, Rock With You was the first 45 single I ever bought, spending my allowance at the local Woolworth's.
Fase excepcional do Michael. Disco com muito Funky e Groove. QoA Cloudscape.
Genius album!
9/10 This is the first in Michael Jackson’s truly great trilogy of albums. He’d released solo albums prior to this, but this was the first time he and Quincy Jones would get together for a record, and it was a marriage made in heaven. While the core sound to this album is disco, there are clear elements of funk and soul woven throughout, all layered over a selection of magnificent pop music compositions. The key standout for me on this album is how much every individual part contributes to its ever-moving groove and flow. That layering is a trademark of Michael and Quincy’s work together and here we get to hear that process finding its feet. If you were to take individual components of each track and play them solo, they would often sound basic and straight, but when everything is layered together, it becomes a living, breathing pulse of groove that’s impossible not to move and bounce to. With that as a backing, it would be hard to go wrong, but there are so many hooks all over the record that it elevates a compelling, funky record into something poptacularly special. It’s hard to pick out single examples, because there are so many, but listening to the call and response between MJ’s lead vocal and the horns in Working Day And Night, or the shuffling swagger of basically every part of Burn This Disco Out really shows what a special talent Michael and Quincy had for selecting songs and sculpting them into a tonally unified record. It’s important that Michael’s vocals get a shout out here. The guy had so much control over what he was producing, both tonally and emotionally. The difference in tone he could produce between backing and lead is really skilful. He would throw in attitude and swagger whenever it served the song and his ability to subtly vary his vibrato and even bring his voice to the edge of cracking during key moments of the slower numbers is simply stunning. And those vocals are always given the space to shine. The production is crisp and clear throughout, and underneath that starring vocal, there is so much depth to the instrumental parts that there is something fresh to grab on to nearly every time. Sure, it’s cheesy as anything and maybe it doesn’t quite have the range of the following couple of records, but it’s still a magnificent effort, and really shows the momentum that Michael was making towards creating the unique sound and musical personality that would sit him on top of the world for the next decade. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough - What a great bass line to roll us in. MJ’s shy little vocal intro is camp as Christmas, but eases us in nicely. The blend of rhythms is solid, with some lovely little bits of percussion that dip in and out and the staccato nature of the bass and guitar only add to the blend. It’s stuffed full of great hooks too. The only complaint could be that it’s a tad long. Rock With You - This is so smooth. The short build up of the pre-chorus is just delicious and the blend of different instrumental parts add so much variation and flavour within each section. Again, MJ writes some stunning vocal hooks and it’s all backed up by a tight and groovy instrumental that just lets his vocal shine. Working Day And Night - This feels like the genesis of the Jackson vocal ticks as rhythmic elements within a track. The call and response of the piano and guitar is solid and there’s a lot of great little riffs spread around the instrumentation that could easily get lost in the background if you weren’t paying enough attention. The almost skittish nature of the groove gives such a solid forward momentum to the track and there’s a great mix of different vocal parts there too. Get On The Floor - Ooof, that bass line slaps (literally). It’s a slow build into this one and there’s more instrumental restraint in there in general which gives it a bit of a different texture to some of the earlier tracks. When the instrumentation does build, it’s superbly balanced and it all supports that funky groove and MJ’s superb (as always) vocal. The breakdown in this is fantastic too. So funky. Off The Wall - Again, the blend of instruments providing the compulsive rhythmic base to this is fundamental to the groove and it’s great. There’s a nice change in emphasis to the groove between verse and chorus on this track that keeps things interesting, but keeps your body moving. The choral vocal multi-tracks are so well executed and MJs delivery on the lead has got just the right amount of swagger to it. He really was an exceptional vocal talent, not just in tonal control but his presentation and delivery was so well executed at all times. Girlfriend - Back to something more soulful and smooth here as we get a Paul McCartney composition onto the record. There’s some absolutely gorgeous Rhodes playing in the background that you only really pick up with close listening. It drifts a little into the cheesy end of the spectrum, but the groove is still really compelling and it provides a nice bit of contrast to the more dancefloor leaning tracks. Solid vocal harmonies, some really nice rhythmic stops and runs, and a solid groove. All hail the cheese. She's Out Of My Life - We take a further step back in pace. It’s more cheese, but another vocal masterclass from Jacko. There’s so much subtlety to his delivery, controlling little punchy pieces of rhythm and the easing in to his vibrato is so smooth. Even the little breaks in his voice feel purposeful. It’s cheesy as fuck, but it’s a high-class, expensive cheese. I Can't Help It - Time for a Stevie Wonder composition now. The bass drives the momentum of this really nicely. The higher tones create a drifting little cloud of harmony that float around beneath MJ’s (again) beautifully controlled vocal. But that’s not to say it lacks on the rhythmical front. There’s a really smooth, groovy pulse and the instrumentation all contributes, just sometimes in very subtle ways. It’s such a solid, hooky chorus too. It's The Falling In Love - The guitar here is so, so funky. This is another where the balance and strategic use of the instrumentation is superbly handled. Things weave around each other beautifully, passing the groove around and then bringing everything together in parts too. Patti Austin’s vocal perfectly compliments Jacko’s, never even trying to overshadow it. There are some particularly nice horn arrangements in here that are worthy of note, but as a whole it’s super satisfying. Burn This Disco Out - Again, what a compelling groove. Find someone who can stay completely still while this tracks spins, and congratulations, you’ve discovered someone with no soul. This is so stacked full of hooks and quality riffs that there’s more exciting and engaging moments stuffed into this one song than other artists manage across a whole record. Seriously, run this track a few times and focus on one instrument at a time and you’ll hear something genius that you missed the previous time on every pass. Bass, Guitar, Horns, Piano, Drums, Vocals and on. All spectacular. What a way to close.
93/100. What a record. Pure fun and loaded with great vibes. It’s a fantastic blend of funk, disco, and pop, capturing him at a transitional high point in his career. The grooves are infectious, the production is tight, and it features my personal favorite Michael Jackson track: Rock with You.
I have struggled to get into MJ albums in the past (like THRILLER) but Quincy really delivers here. Pretty stunning from end to end.
Prince clears this fraud. Perhaps the best MJ album? Danceable throughout and who doesn’t feel the intro to Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough? Consistently great production with stellar bass grooves.
I wanna rock with you, Dont stop till you get enough, Gon burn this disco down, its the falling in love thats makin me high its the bein in love that makes me cry cry cry
Jackson's first big solo album hits quick and hard. Quincy Jones took a super talented but raw talent and turned him into a super star. Jackson's personal struggles aside, his music will get people out of their seats and onto the dancefloor forever. These disco-ey beats probably do it better than his later hits too.
Bon... rien besoin de dire de plus 5/5
Bangers front to back. And MJ isn't too weird yet here
10s across the board. That witches laugh at the start of Off the Wall brings something out of me I can’t quite explain.
9.5/10 I’ve never met anyone in my life who’s said they don’t like Michael Jackson’s music, and that alone says everything about how damn good it is. I prefer Thriller by a slight margin, but Off the Wall is still a near perfect album. The songwriting, & grooves make it feel timeless, and I genuinely believe it’ll stay relevant for many years to come. Favorite song: Rock With You Least favorite: She’s Out of My Life
my type of vibes, gonna five this 5/5 not only because its Michael j but also it is just so peak, groovy disco music will always be up there for me I mean what is there to not love 10/10 songs added
Its Michael Jackson hes a 5 and yes no words
wowo this changed my life
Just like how Led Zeppelin birthed a decade of guitar shredding rock that mostly paled in comparison to its source, listening to this gave me a similar feeling and a glimpse of the future of 80's pop trying to build off some of this magic.
Thought I could live without problematic MJ in my life but revisiting this album has broken my will. Side 1 is an unstoppable force- up there with the greatest dance music ever created in addition to obviously being the high water mark for disco. Quincy Jones just completely destroys any listener's ability to sit still with his incredibly energetic, creative, detail-oriented and always-tasteful arrangements/production. Side 2 has a couple of clunkers but still enough fire, thanks to the A-list songwriting (one exception being Paul McCartney's limp 'Girlfriend'). Also of note: there are few albums I own on vinyl that sound this good on my system- another thing I credit to Jones' genius.
Amazingggg
Rating: 10/10 A masterpiece of funk, pop, soul, and R&B. Just banger after banger on this album, so fun to listen to and so damn funky.
Fire
Another hot take but if you were to put me in a room with every album by Michael Jackson, I am definitely putting Off The Wall on first. While we will eventually discuss a few other just as famous albums this is the "start" of one of the most incredible three album runs of all time. I do highlight start because Michael had been doing music for more than half his life at this point but this is his first with some sort of creative freedom to match his incredible talent. From the opening second "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" grips you and Michael shows that his voice is one of a kind. Certainly this album is not of equal quality top to bottom but where it stands it stands very tall. Get on the Floor and Off the Wall are absolute killers, funky and phenomenal and still absolute ear candy almost 50 years late. If this released today I'd still be bumping it. Also "She's Out of My Life" is a beautiful sleeper hit and tells me that every Michael album should be listening to a level deeper than just "the hits", and while I will concede on some level that compared to the albums that follow, it comes up a little short in those said hits but the sound of this album is unique in my eyes. While Thriller comes really close with Baby Be Mine, Off the Wall may very well be my favourite MJ song. This album is so good man, I'd say "give it a listen" but you've probably already heard some of it and you should hear those bits of it again. Best songs: Off The Wall, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, Get On The Floor, She's Out Of My Life (literally half the damn album) Worst songs: N/A Rank compared to everything else so far: 9/59 (below America Idiot, above Superfly)
I mean, what is there to say? Hot Take Alert! I think Off the Wall may be better than Thriller. Well, at least as good as. There is only one kind of not great song on Off The Wall, and, of course, Thriller has the incredibly putrid, The Girl Is Mine, which not only ruins Michael Jackson’s legacy, but also Paul McCartney’s. The album kicks off with a jam, as Don’t Stop Until You Get Enough is just pure happiness to me. It also makes me think of my favorite TV show of all-time, Seinfeld, as they used this song for a compilation section on the clip show before the not great season finale. This was the first single off the album, followed by four more. It's just pure bliss. Rock With You was the second song on the album and the second single. Another masterpiece. Quincy Jones was a genius producer. It helps that he has someone of Michael Jackson’s talent to produce, but Jones made sure to use on the best of the best session musicians to play on Jackson’s album. The strings are amazing. I can clearly remember hearing this song on the radio or in the local Ben Franklin store in Hartford, Ky. It's burned into my 5-year-old brain. Workin’ Day and Night, track 3, may be the best song Michael Jackson has ever done. I’m sitting here at my desk, and it’s hard to work because I’m chair dancing and stomping the floor so hard I’m afraid my leg’s going to go through it. The horns in this jam are on another level. How wasn’t it one of the five singles off this album? I have no idea. As I mentioned earlier, the only real clunker on this album for me is Girlfriend, which was written by Paul McCartney. It’s not a bad song, really, but compared to the rest of the album, it just seems like a silly little love song….See what I did there? The best Michael Jackson-Paul McCartney song is, of course, Say Say Say. Girlfriend is too reminiscent of The Girl Is Mine on Thriller. The doggone girl is mine? Doggone is so cringe. She’s Out of My Life is a great song that sounds like a song for that time. In the 70s, there were a lot of sensitive ballads that just worked. Usually, I’m not a ballad man, but the 70s had a great run. I just mentioned the other night, I thought Alone Again Naturally was one of the best songs ever. I also think She’s Out of My Life should have been the last song on the album. It’s a great way to close this masterpiece out. Though who am I to argue with Burn This Disco Out? Off the Wall reminds me of Thriller, the song. It’s got some weirdness about it with the howling and jungle sounds leading into a groove that will have you boogieing down at your desk. Rod Temperton wrote this song, Rock With You and Thriller. And wouldn’t you know, old white dude. But, he's an old white dude who could pump out the jams. Burn This Disco Out is the closer, a great song, just not sure it should have closed the album. If this is disco music, then call me Disco Stu. Hell, Temperton wrote this one too. He’s the Sixth Man of the Year of Off the Wall for sure. If you hadn’t already figured it out, I think this is a must-hear album. I probably listen to it a few times a year. It’s an all-timer. If you haven’t heard this album and you can separate the art from the artist, then this one is almost can’t miss.
Bangers. No skips. Groovy.
My favorite of his.
Goat
Es un album clasico donde podemos ver desde los inicios la genialidad de Jackson. Tiene canciones tan historicas como bien ejecutadas tecnicamente desde los incios del artista.
This album is an absolute joy. From the opening tracks alone, it’s clear you’re in the presence of something special. The grooves are deep, the arrangements are immaculate, and the whole record feels alive in a way that’s hard to fake. You can hear Quincy Jones all over this, not just in the polish, but in the confidence and musicality of every decision. The playing is world-class, with that unmistakable West Coast studio sheen, and yes, the Toto DNA is very much present in the best possible way. What really stands out is how fun this sounds. Michael Jackson isn’t burdened by legacy or spectacle yet. He’s just singing his face off, dancing through the grooves, and letting the songs do the work. It’s disco and pop and funk, but executed at such a high level that it transcends period trends and still feels fresh. I’m not interested in pretending the artist was flawless as a person, but this music absolutely is something to celebrate. Track for track, this is a tour de force. Whether it’s better than Thriller is a fair debate and probably comes down to taste, but there’s no question this belongs in the top tier of pop albums. An easy five stars. Effortless, joyful, immaculately made, and still incredibly listenable decades later.
Love it
Listened 3x!
Obviously great
you can never go wrong with MJ
Dope Album. Every song offers something.
Such a fun album - nothing drags and he sounds amazing. It’s a perfect prelude to the world wide popstar he is about to become.
Did this man have any bad albums in this period. Damn, every single song is a banger. 5/5
REALLY NICEEE I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUHCHHHHH , burn this disco out is just so cunty AND ITS THE FALLING IN LOVE OMG , rock with you is just so magestic i love it
Amazing, love the disco beat to his music. This is a very underrated album
Classic
Michael Jackson is iconic, and controversial, but ubiquitous in popular music when I was growing up. I like learning about this album, that it's the first on a new label, first with Quincy Jones, a breakout from his Jackson 5 background/Motown. And I think it shows, a level of asserting independence. I like the disco and funky elements, very fun. Rock With You and Off The Wall are my favourite songs. Nothing I don't really like here
How can you not love this album.
I mean - lets be honest...King of Pop...we know its good every time.
Classic, bangers across the board
Something was in the studio, man. Handcrafted groove that is earworm. You literally cannot resist the urge to at least move with this, Michael Jackson really knows how to rile up a crowd. 9/10
MJaxkson 5star like it or not... btw I do like it
I'm always so impressed when I hear MJ music that's new to me. He's so great at seamlessly picking up the genre of the times and making it timeless, seamless, sleek, and most of all, fun. And god, is this record fun. It's the disco era, and the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack has taken the world by storm. Motown is on its way out, whether you like it or now. And Mikey over here, seeing the tides turning, comes out to produce the first of a slew of legendary records that don't necessarily push every musical boundary, but are exceptionally high quality. I would say this is weaker than either Thriller or Bad, but it puts on a great showing, and in my opinion snags that 5th star. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough is a musical producer's dream. It's so complex, and yet you can hear every little element with crystal clarity. The cowbells, the booming horn sections, the multi-tracked vocals, the suspiciously discoesque string clippings... you get it all. It's a damn joy to listen to. And it's catchy too, something that other top-tier production musicians sometimes lack (Steely Dan's Gaucho (1980), I'm looking at you. Still a 5-star record though.) That opening track is so overwhelmingly great that it makes both its successor (Rock with You) and its spiritual successor (Wanna Be Startin' Somethin') look just fine. Even though both are excellent. Rock with You is very much an analogue of Baby Be Mine on MJ's following record, and while I slightly prefer the latter, there's a reason Rock with You made it big. It's extremely catchy. But you knew that already. Workin' Day and Night is most notable for its very fast horn section playing and overuse of semiquavers at the end of bars. It gives the track a "hurried" feel which really excites the listener. Other highlights: The title track is strong. Really fun vocal harmonies. Side 2 starts with Girlfriend, which is a bit of a honker track in terms of composition. A simple, fun, extremely radio-centric track with goofy lyrics. My favourite line is "Huh, do-do-do-do-doot-do-do-do-do (Hoo)". She's Out of My Life is excellent, and the first percussionless song I've heard from MJ. And he pulls it off with flying colours. Great vocal delivery as always, and the keyboard sound is just the right level of smooth softness. A similar keyboard texture is used in I Can't Help It, and combined with some lovely chords, it's another easy banger. The final two tracks are perfectly good disco-funk pieces with the great vocals and instrumental textures we've all come to expect from MJ. 5/5 Key tracks: Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough, Workin' Day and Night, She's Out of My Life
Grat fun noises! 2/1/26
Loved it. Love Michael. Will listen again
i absolutely love this album!!!!! u NEED to hear with full volume for the best experience. fav songs were workin' day and night & i can't help it
MJ deep in his disco bag. Have heard the hits a million times and I still don't mind hearing them, but the deep cuts really do it for me. Get on the Floor has a crazy bass line.
Was very very good. Very much enjoyed 😛
Ahh... bitter sweet and weird. Off the Wall and Don't Stop Till You Get Enough are still two of the best songs ever written imo. Rock with You right up there too, and every track holds its own. I feel weird about giving it a five, but I really don't know what else I could do.
YESSSSS i fucking love this album, i just need to listen to it more! i definitely listen to thriller more but i see why people say that off the wall is his best album. after listening to again, i really do see why people say this is his best, honestly it's hit after hit after hit but PERSONALLY i like thriller more :p
DANCE DANCE BABY booooooogie w me
The ballads are sort of weak and there's definitely some filler but the highs are so high.
Classic
3.9
One of the dining albums as a teenager. Michael and Quincy made an amazing team.
Absolutely stunning vocals. A wonderful piece of music.
Iconic, timeless.
Michael Jackson will always be the goat
it was a fun time even if some of the songs sound similar, i get why its a classic
This is a long time favorite I have listened to many times. Was still a welcome re-listen as I got my morning going today.
It’s a Michael Jackson album so therefore it’s going to be great and it IS great This man never ceased with the tunes
the james brown influence is so evident on this album especially but michael truly was one of a kind. banger of an album.
Perfeito. Seria esse disco a cura da depressão? Talvez. Coloca pra tocar aí “Get On The Floor” e ouve esse baixo! Um absurdo. Produção perfeita, é fisicamente impossível ficar parado ouvindo esse álbum. Grooves totalmente cativantes. Meu favorito do Michael? Acho que não. Continua sendo um 5. 5/5
iconic, rock with you STAYS on top
