Severely out of date ideologies, probably one of the original trolls of music. He is however an excellent lyricist.

I was looking forward to this one but just disappointed at how rappers instantly go for the cliche racist/misogynistic lyrics. I want a rap album that's just quality and not padded when there's nothing else to rap about. Hard to give a rap album 5* for this reason.

Love this album, I remember the CD being naturally really quiet and having yo dangerously pur my speakers on max just to hear it. I've never really focused on the guitar work before but Mark Knopfler's guitar playing is sublime

This is why I use the generator. This album is so familiar yet so strange at the same time. His lyricism is mad, and he has a kind of Alex Turner thing going on lyrically. I preferred Scott 4 but this was a very unique listen.

I really really wanted to like this. It has a cult following in Manchester and I know the story about the band and the production of the album, but it's just a one-hit wonder album (especially when There She Goes is wildly different to the rest of the album)

I get it, he's different. But he does not warrant the number of albums he has on this list, many songs feel like they were written, recorded, produced with little love and I get the feeling of records being churned out with this guy. It's the little details that make a song and there are no little details.

People saying most average album ever and then giving it 1 star is amusing... I just feel like this is a run-of-the-mill pop album, but it seems to be worshipped as an all time great. The Fame by Lady Gaga is better. Side note: Zane Lowe ranking this as greater than Revolver by The Beatles is absolutely wild.
