Tracy Chapman
Tracy ChapmanGood album, and while it’s not my type of music I can see why it’s a classic
Good album, and while it’s not my type of music I can see why it’s a classic
Absolute punk classic, it sounds a bit repetitive, but I appreciate what it has done for the music scene.
Would give it 1 star, but I have to give it 2 for how weird this album is.
Im not doing this.
Never heard of the album, I was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely phenomenal!
I didn’t know what I was getting into as I had never heard of the album or band, and the album cover didn’t tell me a lot about the album, but I was very pleasantly surprised!
It’s ABBA, just some extremely basic but relatively enjoyable pop music. Nothing special
Fantastic album, very fun listening experience. Great bad day cure!
Phenomenal album, Michael Jackson’s 3rd best besides Thriller and Off The Wall
I get why this album is considered good, but I really dislike big band and find it extremely boring.
Not much to say, just a phenomenal album. I wouldn’t call it a 10, but definitely closer to 5 stars than 4
I hate that I actually like this. It is the perfect amount of corny/cringy to be enjoyable if you get what I mean.
Don’t like eminem normally, but this was alright. Some tracks were pretty corny but all around okay
I wanted to listen to this one for a while, and I’m glad I did. Great album
Pretty fun album, about what I was expecting
Enjoyable but basic radio rock music
Was expecting this to be a pop album, but I was quite pleasantly surprised
I don’t know why but I didn’t like this album at all
What the fuck
Stevie Wonder the goat🙏
This is a classic for a reason. My favourite Stones record as of now. Easy 5 stars!
Loved this album! I normally am not the biggest fan of pop but this was great!
Mind numbingly boring. This exact album had been done 1000 times before and after. Every track sounds the same. Also extremely corny
Talking heads are s top 3 band of all time🙏
I never really listened to African music, so this was a fun new experience. Although it’s not my type of music, I can definitely appreciate it!
First album I’m not gonna finish. I listened to the first track and that was more than enough to know that this is by far the worst album I got so far
Good album, and while it’s not my type of music I can see why it’s a classic
I forgot to listen to this album and honestly don’t feel like it
White guy music
Sounds pretty much the exact same as the other Costello record I listened to. Not much special to say
Even more white people orchestra music like that of evin costello if you get what I mean. Not bad per se, but very boring
Fine enough album, don’t like the meta commentary in the first track, it just gave me the ick. Pretty creative though
Pretty fun album I guess. Nice, summery electronic sound
Not really my type of rock, every song sounds the same imo, but it’s Back In Black. Can I really give it a low rating?
Great album, it’s a classic for a reason
Weirdly fun album. I love this type of music, idk what it is called
Great album, but as the title suggests it feels more like a single and a couple of other tracks thrown together instead of an album
Very fun album, but yet again nothing very interesting
Fine enough album, didn’t like the cover and the music wasn’t special but certainly not bad
Did not at all sound like what I was expecting. I was expecting it to be either a boyband or chamber pop, but this was pleasantly surprising.
Great album, it has a very nice early 2000s internet vibe that I love.
I like my fair share of white girl music, but this is not it
Fine enough album, a bit too long for my taste. I really like how he talks to the listener on track 7 though!
It is a really good album, but I think it could have been cut short by a couple of songs as it sounds very repetitive towards the end of the record.
Very fun jazz album, it reminds me a lot of witches brew for some reason
It’s an okay album. Some of the singing is great, while other parts of it are outdated. I don’t particularly like it but don’t really dislike it either
No way that this racist fucker starts the album off by talking about justice and equal rights. Unfortunate that he of all people is extremely talented. Great album, but -2 stars for Morrissey.
One of my all time favourite albums. Glad I get to listen to it again! Easiest 5 stars so far
Fine enough record, doesn’t really do a lot for me but it certainly doesn’t sound bad
Around half of the albums I have gotten so far have been some multi-instrumental white guy making an orchestral pop/rock album. Truly the coleslaw of music
I love radiohead, and either this or kid A is the best radiohead album. Easy 5!
Absolutely fantastic album, just not quite in 5 star territory though
Didn’t really know what I was getting into, but this album felt like a journey!
Brian Wilson is truly a genius, and you can hear the roots of Pet Sounds in this album. I don’t get why they put the last track on the album though.
I hate the stupid instruments they use amd I hate the shitty vocals.
Not even finishing this, it is so corny and boring
I love me some Paul Simon, and this is a pretty fun album.
Very groovy album, there is a reason why this is an all time classic
One of my favourite album covers of all time, and Jimmy Hendrix is great in general
I really dislike Madonna, and it doesn’t help that this album was made 20 years after her prime
Fantastic album with some good hits. Love me some Billy Joel!
This is probably great if you’re a Johnny Cash fan, but unfortunately I’m not. I also don’t like how he’s just talking for half of the album, although I do understand why this album is on this list.
Pretty fun album, also the perfect length. I enjoyed listening to it, but I don’t think I could handle more than half an hour.
The best Green Day album, I’ve got this one on CD. One of the best punk albums of all time, I really enjoy this one!
Beautiful album, it is very long but I can’t name a track I would cut. It feels like a hauntingly beautiful journey
Half of this album isn’t even on spotify, and the part that is isn’t that good
Very weird album, I wouldn’t call it bad but I don’t know what I would call it
It’s like a more depressed, more mediocre Beatles. It’s still good because it sounds like them, but I would never listen to this over something like Abbey Road or Revolver
Absolute punk classic, it sounds a bit repetitive, but I appreciate what it has done for the music scene.
Fun album, I really enjoyed the vocals.
Pretty fun album, it kinda sounds like 70’s rock as a genre if you know what I mean
Classic alt rock album, enjoyed listening to this!
Very fun, summery album! I don’t know what genre this is, but I love it!
Didn’t even make it through the album, just awful.
Great album, I like the production and the vocals are fantastic
Very fun album, sounds like something that would play in a 70s discotheque
I love Jimi Hendrix, and this might just be his best album, with the only competition being Electric Ladyland. Psychedelic rock classic
Very chill late night album. Sounds like animal crossing music
Never really listened to any black rock from the 60s besides this, so it was a fun experience
Good album, not too remarkable.
I had never heard of this band before now, and I’m glad I did because it’s great!
This album isn’t on spotify, and it doesn’t seem like the type of album where I want to put in the effort and listen to it elsewhere.
Pretty fun album, nothing else to say
I just don’t enjoy 50s music, it all sounds too dated. (with the exception of Frank Sinatra) This is slightly better than other music from this period, but still not good
Good I guess, the vocals are unique
Very creative and unique electronic style, it sounds great!
I forgot to listen to it, probably alright though
Unfortunately a great album, despite the fact that it’s Morrissey
Great production and really interesting vocals. Fantastic album
Great album, although a bit dated. Bob Dylan is fantastic
Fine enough, but it just dragged on for too long
One of Radiohead’s best, easy 5 stars
Just not my type of music.
Great groovy album, love me some Steely Dan
One of the best metal/hard rock albums ever. RIP Ozzy Ozbourne
Fantastic, Paul McCartney the goat
Beautifully sad and mysterious.
Great vibes, although it does sound a bit dated at times
Would give it 1 star, but I have to give it 2 for how weird this album is.
Completely perfect, probably the best Beatles album besides Abbey Road.
Ice T is pretty mid but this is alright
Great album, love the vocals in particular
Beautiful album, every instrument individually sounds random but they come together so well
Very chaotic angsty album but in a good way
Bruce Springsteen is a one trick pony, and while it isn’t a bad trick, I can’t give him higher than 3 stars because of that.
I can’t understand what they’re saying, but it sounds great
I love the Doors, although I prefer their first album
No.
Fantastic album, that first track is a masterpiece
Very good album, although a little slow at times
I just don’t like 50’s music (besides Sinatra) although this isn’t too bad.
It’s alright, there are certainly better Prince albums though
Sounds very ahead of its time. Great album!
Fantastic album and a great anti-mainstream left turn from Nevermind
Spanish Beatles
Fun but very weird album
One of the best rap albums ever, crazy that he was only 20 when he dropped this.
I hate the vocals, and the instrumentals, while good, don’t make up for it.
I don’t like Deep Purple all that much, but this was very good.
I love bossa nova, Frank Sinatra, and this album also has my favourite version of The Girl From Ipanema.
Fantastic album, you’d think that Everybody Wants To Rule The World would be overplayed by now, but it’s just a timeless song.
The story is fucked up, and the music really isn’t that good. Just some soft guitar with whispering over it. This is some bullshit that only the French could cook up.
Its fine enough, I just don’t really care for this type of music
Very unique meditative album
Its a mix between country and rock, which im not a huge fan of
Great album, I love the cover art
Great music and great social commentary. One of the founding rap albums
Forgot to listen to this one, but I love every other Funkadelic album I’ve heard, so I’m sure it’s great
Really good album, although I feel like they could have left out some tracks and made others longer.
I didn’t like any of the previous Elvis Costello albums, but this one is honestly pretty good.
Good dance/disco album, nothing else to say
Not bad, but just not my type of music or very unique
I hate country music, and even at half an hour this album felt like a slog
Good album, feels very spacey
Great vocals, but other than that not very interesting.
This sounds like the soundtrack to a secondary school play.
Im not doing this.
Was really in the mood for this right now, very good album!
Just relistened this album yesterday, it’s absolutely fantastic. Great lyrics, great instrumentals and I love. The rapping over rock music
Not bad, but unremarkable
Really enjoyed this one, a banger debut album.
Wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did considering there are very few non-rock albums from this time that I enjoy.
Was expecting this to be a punk album but was extremely pleasantly surprised. Genuinely one of the most unique hip hop albums I’ve ever listened to, criminally underrated!
Honestly mindblowing. Really enjoyed this one
Banger
I’ve heard very few albums that are this fun to listen to. I definitely see why this is so beloved
This would be your favourite album if you were 75.
Fun listen, although the vocals did get annoying at times and some of the songs sounded the same.
Very chill late night album, definitely one of my favourite jazz albums.
Not as good as London Calling, but still a fantastic punk record
Very good, I’d expect this band to have more listeners considering the quality of their music
It wouldn’t be crazy to call this THE founding hiphop album, and it just so happens to be great as well.
Started off strong, but that dropped down right after that.
Great album, classic sound, but just not quite a 5 star for me.
Not bad by any means, but honestly pretty boring. No real standouts or anything
I hadn’t listened to any of the Beatles’ older catalogue yet, although I’m a big fan of their more popular work. I didn’t know any of the songs on here, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Very funky album, I love this type of music!
Very fun album
Don’t really like his gravelly voice, but it’s still Bob Dylan.
Very chill album, but not always very fun.
Normally I’d feel that an album being this long was overstaying its welcome, but it’s the Beatles, so that’s impossible
Very unique voice, and although I prefer his son this is still great.
Probably in my top 3 hip hop albums. This album also helped as my gateway from rap to jazz and other types of music. I love it!
Wasn’t expecting an album called “Emperor Tomato Ketchup” to be a genuinely beautiful, fantastic experience
