The Beach Boys really walk that fine line of corniness but the instrumentation and production here is so layered and interesting it cancels it out

“Lost Souls is considered by many to be the best debut album since Oasis' Definitely Maybe” Who is this “many” Like the most boring Coldplay imaginable. Back third of the album is slightly better but not by much.
