Isaac Hayes
4/5
Right when the song comes on, whew, soulful. Makes you want to start dancing. two songs in, and this is a long one. 4 tracks and but each track is extensive. I dig track 2. This last track is very long. Mostly talking. So far the standout tracks are 1 and 3.
Beatles
5/5
I don't even need to listen to this album. This is by far one of my favorites The Beatles albums and one of my favorites ever. Every song on this is a masterpiece. The way they close out the album with the medley and in the end. so good.
Guns N' Roses
4/5
Excited to listen to this. Never really heard this album fully. Welcome to the Jungle is such a classic rock song. One Out ta get Me. Other songs between this song and Jungle were alright. Nothing special. At this point, this album just becomes a classic. I am not too big of a GNR fan but when you listen to an album like this one, you know why it is a classic.
Nas

I love this album!
Such a classic.
So much nostalgia with this album. I remember when I heard this album for the first time. I was blown away. The two vocalists back-and-forth. Singing, rapping, screaming. It was amazing at 16.
RIP Chester.
A Place for My Head best song on the album
George Jones
3/5
Interested in listening to this. Honestly NEVER heard of this guy. This is country. I don't like country. This is old school country. Gotta check this out. Omg this reminds me of my Papa, my Dad's dad. I believe this is what he would be listening to when I was a kid. Most likely won't be able to get through this whole album. we'll see. 4 songs in and I definitely remember this album, even these songs playing in my Papa's car driving around SF. Alright I'm done, got through almost the first 7 tracks. Pretty classic country. Too slow and soft for me. I am more about the Johnny Cash type of country.
Björk

Stereo MC's
3/5
I know of these guys but not sure if I really have listened to very much of their stuff if anything. I do know this first track "connected". Pretty chill. I dig it.
Motörhead

I just listened to this the other day for the first time. It was rocking. I knew of this album already. Pretty freaking rocking.
Moby Grape

Never heard of this band. From SF, during the psychedlic years. Truly never heard of this band.
Burning Spear

I've heard of these guys, wasn't quite sure if it was the same as the reggae band and they are them.
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
4/5
I know Elvis Costello but not sure if I have ever listened to him and the attractions. This first song blew me away, was not ready for that. Ironic to listen to this because I can hear a lot of influences from a lot of music that I generally like in modern music. I dig this. Good stuff.
Siouxsie And The Banshees
3/5
I've heard of this band but not quite sure if I have listened to the music. So interested to see what this is like. Cool stuff but not my vibe. I get it.
Minutemen

Never heard of these guys. These guys are interesting. Not what I expected. Cool stuff though.
Queens of the Stone Age
4/5
These guys rock and this is a great debut album.
Barry Adamson
3/5
Never heard of this artist. Noticed that he has a lot of Lost Highway soundtrack tracks, so may be a composer. Had a feeling this was going to be a little out there
Bruce Springsteen
3/5
I don't listen to much Bruce but I know him. Good stuff. not for me though. Never really attached to Bruce. I like a couple tracks but wouldn't be able to listen to him for an extending period. Wouldn't mind
Tom Waits
3/5
Waits always has an interesting vibe with him.
Billie Holiday
4/5
Her voice is so good.
The Magnetic Fields
3/5
Truly never heard of this band. Interested to check this out. First couple tracks a bit slow for my taste. Not my vibe. I get it.
Randy Newman
4/5
Oh I know this guy. Was unaware of his original stuff. I mean I guess "you've got a friend in me" is still an original. I am going to guess just about anything that he puts it out is good.
Happy Mondays
3/5
It was alright. Not for me. Pretty average stuff in my ears
